Yes. Reading is free and supported by ads, and the first 100 chapters of every novel are always free. Only the newest part of each novel is reserved for supporters — read it with any subscription, or unlock chapters one at a time with tokens (1 token each). Chapters you unlock stay unlocked.
New accounts start with 40 free tokens, plus 10 more when you add a username and your age. In the Android app you can also watch short ads for free tokens (a few times a day). Token packs and subscriptions are in the Shop — on the website they are paid through Stripe, in the app through Google Play. Tokens never expire.
Unlocking chapters (1 each), catch-up recaps (1 token per 2 chapters recapped, 5 minimum), translating raw novels past the free opening chapters (3 per chapter), recommendations (10 per search) and EPUB downloads (1 per chapter). Subscriptions make several of these free or half price — see the Shop for what each plan includes.
Website subscriptions: Profile → Account & security → Manage subscription. Subscriptions bought in the Android app are billed by Google Play — cancel them in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Website token packs: within 7 days if none of the tokens from that purchase have been used — email [email protected]. Purchases made in the Android app are refunded through Google Play: open your Play Store order history and request a refund there.
Profile → Account & security → Delete account, on the website or in the app. It is immediate and permanent. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel that in the Play Store first.
