The away section was in full voice.

Blue-and-white scarves swayed above the crowd as chants echoed around the stadium.

Every few moments, another group of supporters mimicked Giorgi Loria’s “SIUUUU!” celebration.

Others laughed as they pretended to eat imaginary burgers.

The teenager had somehow managed to make both celebrations memorable in the same afternoon.

For the travelling supporters, football had become entertainment in its purest form.

Despite the noise coming from the away end, Gagra refused to surrender.

Their midfield continued moving the ball confidently.

Their fullbacks pushed higher.

Their front three constantly switched positions, searching for weaknesses inside Dinamo’s back line.

“They’re still fighting,” the commentator noted.

“And they should.”

“There is plenty of football left.”

For nearly fifteen minutes, Gagra looked the better side.

They won second balls.

Forced Dinamo backward.

Delivered several dangerous crosses.

Each attack ended the same way.

A clearance.

A tackle.

Or Makatsaria calmly gathering the ball.

Dinamo’s defense remained organized.

Patient.

Disciplined.

Ferdinand applauded from the touchline.

“Stay compact!”

“No silly mistakes!”

The thirty-ninth minute nearly changed everything.

Beka Gabiskiria collected possession near the left touchline.

Immediately, Nika Ninua sprinted toward him.

He committed to the tackle.

Too early.

Beka simply nudged the ball inside.

Ninua slid harmlessly across the grass.

The winger was gone.

“Beautiful skill!”

the commentator shouted.

Beka surged toward the edge of the penalty area before lifting his head.

One glance.

One perfectly weighted pass.

Nodar Kavtaradze had already raced beyond Dinamo’s defensive line.

He met the ball first time.

A stunning volley.

Makatsaria had absolutely no chance.

The net rippled.

The home supporters erupted.

Nodar sprinted toward the corner flag with both arms spread wide.

His teammates followed.

Then…

A whistle.

The assistant referee’s flag stood high above his head.

Offside.

The celebrations stopped immediately.

Nodar turned in disbelief.

“No!”

He pointed repeatedly toward the defensive line.

“Come on, I was on!”

The referee calmly shook his head.

The stadium screen displayed the replay.

Freeze frame.

Nodar’s shoulder.

Half a step beyond the final defender.

Clear.

Undeniable.

The commentator nodded.

“It’s the correct decision.”

“Painfully close…”

“But definitely offside.”

Nodar sighed heavily before jogging back toward midfield.

A golden opportunity had vanished.

The remaining minutes of the half passed quickly.

Neither side created another clear chance.

The referee glanced toward his watch.

Three whistles.

Halftime.

Inside television studios across Georgia, excitement buzzed through every panel.

Highlights rolled continuously.

First…

The volley.

Then…

The burger celebration.

Moments later…

The overhead kick.

Followed immediately by the emphatic “SIUUUU!”

The presenter laughed.

“I don’t think anyone expected today’s match to become this entertaining.”

One analyst nodded enthusiastically.

“Giorgi Loria has stolen the show.”

Another pointed toward the replay of the bicycle kick.

“Technically…”

“…that’s one of the best goals we’ve seen in the Georgian league this season.”

The oldest pundit on the panel leaned back thoughtfully.

“I’ve covered Georgian football for almost twenty years.”

He paused.

“I don’t hand out praise lightly.”

Then he smiled.

“I believe…”

“…Georgia has found its new genius.”

The words immediately appeared across social media.

GEORGIA’S NEW GENIUS

Within minutes, thousands of supporters were repeating the phrase online.

Back inside the dressing room, Ferdinand remained calm despite the scoreline.

“Excellent first half.”

He looked around the room.

“But don’t think this match is over.”

He pointed toward the tactical board.

“They’ll become desperate.”

“They’ll become physical.”

“They’ll try frustrating you.”

His eyes briefly met Giorgi’s.

“Don’t react.”

Giorgi nodded.

“I won’t.”

“Good.”

Ferdinand smiled.

“Keep playing your football.”

The second half began.

Almost immediately…

Something felt different.

Not tactically.

Physically.

The two defenders assigned to mark Giorgi had changed completely.

Augusto.

And Otar Chochia.

Instead of simply following his runs…

They bumped him whenever possible.

A shoulder after every pass.

A tug on the shirt.

An elbow while jumping.

Nothing serious enough for a foul.

Everything deliberate.

“You won’t touch the ball today.”

Augusto smirked.

Giorgi ignored him.

A few moments later…

Another shove.

“You think you’re some superstar now?”

Still…

No response.

The sixteen-year-old simply jogged into another pocket of space.

The constant chatter only grew louder.

“Burger boy.”

“You’ve got nothing.”

“Score another lucky goal.”

Giorgi smiled to himself.

“Dad always said…”

“The loudest defenders usually worry the most.”

Fifty minutes into the match, Ferdinand made his first substitution.

Vakhtang Salia had worked tirelessly all afternoon.

Now he received a standing ovation as he left the pitch.

Replacing him was the energetic Jaduli Iobashvili.

The young striker immediately sprinted into position.

Fresh legs.

Fresh energy.

Five minutes later…

Dinamo produced another flowing attack.

Levan Osikmashvili intercepted a loose pass in midfield.

Instead of playing safely backward…

He immediately found Nika Ninua.

Ninua burst behind his marker.

One touch.

Another.

He slipped past the first defender.

Nearly lost control.

Recovered brilliantly.

As he stumbled forward, he somehow poked the ball toward Giorgi, who remained tightly surrounded by Augusto and Otar.

The defenders smiled.

Nowhere to go.

Or so they thought.

Giorgi killed the ball with his left foot.

Stopped completely.

Augusto stepped forward.

Otar closed the passing lane.

In one fluid movement…

Giorgi dragged the ball behind his standing foot.

A perfect Cruyff turn.

Both defenders lunged the wrong way.

The crowd gasped.

“He spun them!”

the commentator shouted.

Now facing goal once more, Giorgi calmly slipped the ball into Jaduli Iobashvili’s path.

The substitute didn’t hesitate.

Right foot.

Power.

Vorobey stretched desperately.

The shot sailed over his fingertips…

Only to smash against the outside of the post.

The entire stadium groaned.

“No!”

Jaduli shouted.

He dropped to one knee, unable to believe his luck.

The rebound bounced behind for a corner.

Giorgi jogged over to take it.

His delivery curled dangerously toward the six-yard box.

Oleksandr Vorobey rose confidently.

This time…

The game settled once more.

Dinamo continued controlling possession.

Gagra searched for another opportunity.

The physical battles around Giorgi became even more intense.

Every run ended with another shove.

Another bump.

Another sarcastic comment.

Yet the teenager never reacted.

His football did the talking.

The stadium clock ticked toward the seventy-ninth minute.

Dinamo earned a free kick several yards inside their own half.

Jaduli Iobashvili stood over it.

Most players expected a long ball.

Instead…

He tapped it short.

Straight toward Giorgi.

The teenager accelerated down the left wing and a midfielder rushed toward him.

But with one quick feint he was gone.

Augusto and Otar immediately stepped across to close him down.

They had marked him all afternoon.

They knew his habits.

Or so they believed.

With two rapid touches, Giorgi drifted inside.

Then outside.

For a split second…

It almost looked as though he had disappeared.

One moment he stood between them.

The next…

He was already beyond both.

The commentator almost laughed.

“Where did he go?”

“He just ghosted past both defenders!”

Open grass stretched ahead.

Only the goalkeeper remained in the distance.

Giorgi pushed the ball forward.

He drew back his leg.

Another long-range effort seemed inevitable.

Augusto made a desperate decision.

He launched himself into a reckless sliding tackle from behind.

His studs caught Giorgi’s standing leg.

The teenager crashed violently onto the turf, rolling several times before coming to a stop.

The whistle came instantly.

The crowd booed furiously.

Augusto climbed to his feet.

Instead of apologizing…

He stood over Giorgi.

“Stay down.”

“That’s where you belong.”

Before Giorgi could even answer Nika Ninua arrived at full speed and shoved Augusto square in the chest.

“What was that?”

Players from both teams rushed in.

Shouting.

Pushing.

Pointing fingers.

For a brief moment…

It looked as though a full fight would break out.

The referee sprinted into the middle of the chaos.

Repeated blasts from his whistle cut through the noise.

“Enough!”

Players slowly separated.

The referee reached into his pocket.

Yellow?

No.

He pulled out a red card.

Straight red.

Augusto stared in disbelief.

“What?”

“For that?”

The referee pointed firmly toward the tunnel.

“Serious foul play.”

“And your conduct afterward.”

No arguments changed his mind.

The defender reluctantly walked away, still muttering under his breath.

The home supporters applauded sarcastically.

Dinamo’s fans celebrated as though another goal had been scored.

Attention soon returned to Giorgi.

He slowly climbed back to his feet.

Charlotte Loria, watching from the stands, let out the breath she had been holding.

He flexed his ankle.

Rolled his shoulders.

No limp.

No injury.

“I’m fine,” he assured the referee.

The official nodded before marking the spot of the foul.

It was dangerous.

Close enough.

Perfect free-kick territory.

Jaduli Iobashvili placed the ball carefully on the grass.

Then looked at Giorgi.

“So…”

he asked with a grin.

“Who’s taking it?”

Giorgi stared at the goal.

The wall.

The goalkeeper.

The distance.

Then back at the ball.

A small smile crept across his face.

That question…

Might decide how this unforgettable afternoon would be remembered.
