General Rain led Andeen and the huge man from earlier to a separate building on the headquarters land, just across from the emergency building.
It was a building as large as the main building itself. However, it was just a single space, surrounded by mana-absorbing walls and panels above that controlled the shields around the building based on the fighters’ levels.
Andeen was led in and the first thing that caught her attention was the weapon wall across the huge space. Her senses caught the weapons that Cashel had been borrowed that day.
Specifically the two guns he used.
She let her senses linger on the weapons for a minute before making her way to where a few benches were at the top part of the training building where other hunters stayed to watch or prepare.
While Rain moved to the system controls to activate the building and the huge man made his way down the stairs to the field, she sat on one of the benches and took off her boots.
The moment her small spotless feet touched the ground her keen senses became sharper than usual and she could practically see, putting aside the vibrations and contour lines.
The energy in the whole building was enough to paint the surroundings for her.
Yes, although her eyes were physically gone, she could feel colours, see and sense the energy from things and people around her, but that was limited.
However the vibrations from every corner of the rooms due to machines made seeing even easier.
She shrugged off the white coat, folded it neatly and placed it on the bench. She held her staff and made her way down the stairs to the centre of the building where the still shirtless man was waiting, his gaze fixed on her.
General Rain also could not take her eyes off Andeen, and she internally commended herself for the design she proposed for Andeen’s uniforms.
They were absolutely beautiful, breathable, helped with her flexibility and even better showed off the body she was so insecure and sensitive about.
"Alright!" Rain exclaimed from where she was, making Andeen turn her head to her. "Can you take on both of us or do you want a little warm-up with one first?"
Andeen went silent. She turned her head to the huge man and raised her head slightly like she was looking at his face, then to Rain before shaking her head.
"I’d like you first," she paused. "I don’t think I can take on someone rough and a hunter with berserker-type abilities yet."
How? The contour lines and vibrations bouncing off certain parts of his body at the same time wrapping around him easily told her the kind of fighter he was.
Strength focused.
Not the category of mages, assassins, hunters or marksmen. More like the Tank category of awakeners.
Her screen appeared in her mind’s eye.

She ran through the details once again, a disappointed sigh leaving her lips silently as she saw the locked sections of her profile and quietly dismissed the screen.
General Rain glanced at the muscular man and laughed softly. "Go take a seat and enjoy the fight," she ordered, and it did not take long for the man to quickly get a seat and watch with keen focus.
Rain placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head. "Are you ready?"
Andeen nodded. She summoned her inventory, reached into the floating spiral pocket and quietly took a pair of white gloves. She slipped them onto her fingers, took out a face mask and slipped it on before turning around.
She walked a few steps before turning back and tapping her staff on the ground to cross the vibrations before placing both her palms on the staff before her.
"Okay, I’m ready."
Rain snickered. The lights in the building dimmed and almost immediately Rain’s hands flashed with bright purple and red flames nearly the height of her lower body.
Fire coated her arms and her eyes glowed a fierce red.
"Give me your best, alright?"
Andeen opened her mouth to speak, but Rain burst forth, her form leaving a trail of red flames as she moved. Andeen instantly tapped her staff on the ground and almost immediately Rain crashed into a nearly translucent blue wall and stumbled backwards.
Rain sucked her teeth. "I forgot you had energy shields."
Andeen almost smiled triumphantly, that is if she had not felt the hairs on the back of her neck. She spun around quickly only to receive a hard blow to the face.
Bam!
Rain’s fist collided with Andeen’s face and the force threw her backwards, crashing through her own shield and a few feet away before skidding to a stop.
She instinctively and carefully raised her hand to her cheek. No bruise, but damn it hurt like hell.
Inhaling deeply, she tossed her staff carelessly to the ground just as Rain burst forth again for another attack but this time...
Andeen met her attack head-on with her own gloves fists glowing with blue flames. She caught Rain’s fists and increased the intensity of her energy, bathing the building in a bright blue glow.
Rain countered, also increasing her heat, and somehow the chill from Andeen’s abilities seeped through the heat.
Unable to withstand it, she forcefully released her fist and leapt backwards.
"Hah hah....Is that something a mage does?" She asked, wiping the cold sweat from her forehead.
Andeen laughed softly. She shook off the energy and clasped her palms together. Rain’s fire had nearly burnt her had she not moved away herself. Even with the gloves on, meant to protect her fingers against the heat as well as the cold of ehrnown ability, it still seeped in.
’So much for a thousand dollar gloves, tch.’ she thought silently, making a note to discard the gloves once she was doing.
"Give me your best, these are mediocre skills Andeen!" Rain roared, her voice shaking the building and vanished.
Andeen frowned deeply already annoyed by the constant vanishing and suprise attacks. She summoned the staff back into her hands and hit it on the ground just as she sensed Rain’s energy above her.
Bam!
Crack!
Rain’s fist slammed hard into the round high barrier around Andeen nearly breaking through as spider cracks formed on the barrier, but it did not last for a second.
The barrier dropped almost immediately, sending Rain down towards Andeen who just pointed two fingers at her.
Tiny threads of ice shot from the ground around Andeen and shot at Rain who was falling.
Before the threads could meet their target, she vanished again, appearing at the far end of the hall right in front of the door.
Right on beat, the icy threads changed trajectory and headed towards Rain, more shooting from the ground again to block off her escape.
However, in that instant the doors to the building pulled apart and a figure walked in right behind Rain, calling Andeen’s name in a familiar loving way just before their voice rose to a panicked sound.
Rain vanished just at the last moment and Andeen’s eyes widened in horror when the icy threads hit the unlucky individual in multiple points.
