“I’m back, Nagumo.

I brought you lunch.

You must be hungry, right, Nagumo?”Full novel: A Tentacle Monster Can’t Possibly Be This Gentle — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Opening the door and entering the room, Natsumi stared blankly at the empty space.

After searching the cabinets and under the bed for a while, the girl ‘clomp-clomp-clomped’ downstairs and looked around, finally confirming one thing.

Nagumo had gone out!

“I told him to stay home.

Running out in broad daylight, isn’t he afraid of being discovered?” Natsumi quickly tried calling him on his phone and sending emails.

The result was like a stone sinking into the sea—no reply, and the calls wouldn’t connect.

The girl was bewildered.

Where did he go?

At least reply to an email!

The entire afternoon passed in a daze for Natsumi.

By dinnertime, Natsumi’s mother noticed her daughter’s listless expression at the dining table and saw that the rice in her bowl was barely touched.

She realized something was wrong.

“Natsumi, no appetite?

Are you feeling unwell?”

“It’s not that, Mom,” Natsumi quickly shook her head, forcing a weak smile.

“I’m not sick.

Maybe I ate too many snacks and don’t feel like dinner.”

“Is that so?

But you look a bit pale,” her mother frowned.

“Natsumi, tell Mom if something’s bothering you.

Is it because of Houichi?”

Naturally, she had noticed that her daughter’s Childhood friend, the usually close Matsubara Houichi, had barely spoken to her at the hospital today.

Could Natsumi’s bad mood be because of him?

“It’s really not that, Mom.

“I’m full.

I’m going back to my room for now—”

Natsumi put down her chopsticks, fled to her room, and flopped face-down onto her bed.

She delivered a series of rapid punches to her soft pillow.

“That damn Nagumo!

Where on earth did he go…

Hurry up and come back already!”

“Holy crap!

So many missed calls—and messages?”

Nagumo picked up his phone and saw the screen flooded with messages and calls.

Only then did he belatedly look out the window, realizing that after all the commotion, it was already night.

Turning his head, he looked at that female hooligan, Izuki Shima, who was leisurely putting her clothes back on, covering up that sexy body and simultaneously hiding the marks left by Nagumo’s ravaging.

“What’s wrong, President?” Seeing him standing still nearby, Izuki Shima covered her mouth with a light laugh.

“Still not satisfied?

Want to continue?

But I can’t go on.

If we kept going, I’d definitely break.”

This wasn’t just empty talk.

The pleasure this Tentacle Monster brought her was something Izuki Shima couldn’t extricate herself from, especially that unique tentacle of his.

Humans simply couldn’t compare.

If even she could hardly resist, let alone the other female members.

That’s why Izuki Shima was so convinced that Nagumo’s existence would make the members utterly addicted.

“If you need it, President, I can contact the members now.

After all…

satisfying the President’s desires is also a major matter.”

“Who’s talking about that?

I need to go back,” Nagumo said with a dark line over his head.

Unknowingly, he had spent a whole day in this evil organization.

Tsk, these damn sugar-coated bullets.

“President, are you really not considering staying here?” Izuki Shima, now fully dressed, showed no trace of her earlier wanton, seductive posture.

Instead, she resembled a sharp and efficient OL secretary.

“Compared to that small, inconvenient house, the Assembly of the Goddess has ample space for you to move around.

You wouldn’t have to worry about being discovered by others, and there’s the service of the organization’s members…”

Stop talking!

If you keep going, I really won’t be able to resist staying!

But…

these tempting thoughts immediately died down when he thought of Natsumi and saw the flood of messages, emails, and calls on his phone.

This organization was good, but he still had to go back to Natsumi.

“Drive me back.”

“Ah, it seems the President still hasn’t fully accepted the Assembly of the Goddess.

But that’s alright, we will work hard to satisfy you,” Izuki Shima showed a confident smile.

“Also, President, weren’t you looking for supernatural beings or monsters?

We already have news.”

That fast?

“Shall I take you there?

Coincidentally, there’s also a target the Assembly of the Goddess has its eye on, someone we want to recruit as a member.”

“…Let’s go late at night.

I need to go back first.”

“Okay.”

At 8 PM, Nagumo rode in Izuki Shima’s car back to Natsumi’s house.

At the doorway, he glanced up at the lit window on the second floor, then leaped up, climbing from a tree branch.

His tentacle pressed against the window edge, trying to push it open, but it didn’t budge.

???

What?

It’s locked?
