Hmm, man, why does it take so long for any decent Highschool DxD fanfics to come out? All the good ones either take 1 million years to update or are dropped randomly.
Hmm, wonder if there's any good DxD CYOA's out there... Maybe I could try my hand at a fanfic?
Oh, here's one. Let's see... Start out with 100 Devil Points, or DP for short.
Can either be a Reincarnated Devil, Half Devil, or Pure Devil... Reincarnated Devil's can get access to Sacred Gears and/or be Heroic Descendants, but get no respect. Half Devil's start weaker than Pure Devil's, but get the same benefits of Reincarnated Devil's, the weaknesses of Devil's are halved, and have greater potential. Pure Devil's have the strongest start.
Hmm, let me keep reading- Wait a second... Half-Devil's can spend an extra 20 DP to become Super Devil's?! Considering that Half-Devil's are stated to have greater potential than Pure Devil's, that's a pretty easy choice.
I choose Half-Devil and dump 20 DP on the Super Devil upgrade. That take's me down to 80 DP.
Next step, choosing which family to be born into. I could go for the classics (Gremory, Sitri, Phenex), or I can revive an extinct bloodline. If I do that, I get labeled as the Pillar Originator and am therefore stronger than if I become one of the main family's shown in the show. That sounds tempting, let's see what my options are.

Okay, after reviewing the options available, I think I'm going to go with the Flauros Bloodline.
Flauros Bloodline: All World's Creation- basically become god within a 10 foot radius.
Valefor was also tempting, but after reading through the Perks and Sacred Gears available, I have a plan to cheese the fuck out of this.
I then drop 40 DP on the following Perks. Enduring Will, Well of Magical Power, Creative Thoughts, and Harem Love.
Enduring Will (10DP): Training or working out will carry twice the improvements all across the board. With effort and resolve you'll be just like the Magicless Bael in terms of pure strength should you put in serious effort in doing so.
Well of Magical Power (10DP): The amount of magic you'll be able to hold will be that of a vast endlessly deep ocean, a near bottomless void of magical energy that will be at your fingertips at all times. However, using it will still need training and effort though.
Creative Thoughts (10DP): A devil's greatest ability is something they don't actually use very much, the ability to use one's imagination and actually make it real; is something that you'll have an easier time doing, no matter how mundane or awesome the result might be.
Harem Love (10DP): Everyone needs a bit of love, right? Well. I'm going to say this. Your preferred gender will not mind sharing you with others, and will probably get off on being in a harem with others that love you as much as they do and will give you the ability to manage and keep your harem happy, as well as always managing to have time for them as a whole or individually. As a bonus, I'll even allow you and your harem to share a telepathic/emotional bond with you as the focus. The bonds 'mark' for your harem will take the shape of a sexy womb tattoo. While you'll get a crest-like mark on the back of either hand. These marks will protect your harem from the Dreaded NTR and dragon-aura wielding power.
I put a great deal of thought into my choices. The way I see it, Creative Thoughts and Enduring Will will synergize immensely in training my magical abilities while Well of Magical Power will allow me to do basically anything. The need for training is also boosted by Creative Thoughts and Enduring Will. This'll be essential to cover my initial drawback as a Half-Devil being weaker than a Pure Devil.
As for Harem Love? Mostly that was because I FUCKING LOATHE NTR AS A CONCEPT!!!!!!!!!!!
With my Perks sorted, I move onto the Sacred Gear Shop, which is open to me as a Half-Devil. After some consideration, I drop my remaining 40 DP on Kaleidoscope.

The next thing I know, I find myself in a fancy nightclub down in the Underworld sitting at a VIP table with... Riser Phenex? Dafuq? Suddenly, my head is slammed as memories of my current life come crashing to the forefront of my mind.
I remember my parents. My father, the Lord Flauros, who was in hiding ever since the Civil War, having chosen not to support one side or the other by secluding himself in the human realm. Eventually, he settled down with a Half-Fallen woman, my mother, and I was the result.
I'd been informed of my heritage from a young age as my magical power and innate talent was immense. Being Half-Devil, Quarter-Fallen Angel, and Quarter-Human resulted in strange mutations. Despite clearly possessing the Devil system of magic, my wings seemed to be an unusual mix of Devil and Fallen Angel wings. Namely, they held the shape of Devil wings, but were covered in black feathers.
Once I'd had some training with my Bloodline Magic, things got a bit weird. Spending time in the human world led to a fondness of video games and novels about characters being reincarnated with game-like mechanics, thus leading to some utter nonsense on my part.
While 7 year old me was experimenting with All World's Creation, I awakened my Sacred Gear, Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope and All World's Creation had such a ridiculous synergy, that they allowed me to make permanent changes to myself. Nothing much, at first, but I did succeed in effectively giving myself a Gamer System knockoff.

So yeah, nothing terribly impressive, all things considered. For now, my [Gamer System] mostly serves as a fancy way of keeping track of basic information, but I instinctively know that it's capable of so much more.
As for my Strength and Magic Power? Well, the way my system tracks progression isn't based on numeric values, since that's just stupid when dealing with the obscene Power Scaling of this world. Instead, it tracks the average level of power for my given race, Devils, and measures how I compare to Pure Devils as they're naturally stronger than a Half-Blood like me.
Which is to say, the fact that my Strength is comparable to the average Pure-Blood already is nothing to scoff at considering I've mostly been focusing on my Magic Power. Magic is a Devil's greatest asset after all. Having barely surpassed the average Pure-Blood in terms of raw power is pretty respectable I'd say.
Now, circling back to why I'm in a fucking VIP Booth in a nightclub with Riser Phenex. Apparently, my Dad heard about the New Satan's coming out on top in the Civil War, but since he was with my Mom already, he didn't want to reveal his existence due to uncertainty regarding the New Satan's stance on the Fallen.
However, after learning about Akeno Himejima through my Mom, who was something of a close friend of Azazel back in the day, despite being a 2-Winged Fallen Angel, she was able to convince Dad that "if the Heiress of Gremory and Little Sister of Sirzechs Lucifer can have a Half-Fallen for a Queen, then what's the harm?"
It still took a few years on Dad's part before he finally caved and so, with some help from Uncle Azazel, we were brought in to meet with Serafall Leviathan. So, my parents are off shooting the breeze with Serafall regarding the return of the Flauros Clan to the 72 Pillars. How does Riser figure into this?
Well, that's because of my Peerage actually. Due to having two Peerage members versed in Alchemy, the Phenex's were concerned that I might try and muscle in on their business, so upon learning of my parents meeting with Serafall, they arranged to participate in the meetings.
There was also some extra bullshit that needed to be sorted due to one of my Peerage members being the last known descendant of the Halphas Clan, another of the 72 Pillars, a former ally of the Phenex's and one of the two Alchemists of my Peerage.
So, while shit was going on with that, and possibly trying to hook me up with Ravel, Riser and I decided to fuck off while the adults dealt with political nonsense.
