Then there's the Flauros guy whose wings seem to be lined with black feathers on the outer layer while retaining a bat-like membrane on the inner layer.

A tool created by Big G long ago and gifted to Humanity as weapons to defend themselves against the supernatural. "But, this led to some internal political divisions regarding the treatment of Reincarnated Devils in Devil Society. The 'Old Satan' Faction are composed of a bunch of dumbasses who treat Reincarnated Devils like the slaves they realistically are since the Reincarnation Ritual kinda binds your soul to the will of the Devil who Reincarnated you. They also weren't big fans of the Great Biblical War winding down into a Cold War and want to resume active hostilities with the Fallen and Heaven."
"Then there's the 'New Satan' Faction that more or less champions for Reincarnated Devils to have the possibility for social advancement and possessing the same standards, privileges, and opportunities as Pure Devils. They also support the ongoing cessation of hostilities with the other two Biblical Factions and possibly wish to bring about a formal peaceful resolution to the War and forge an alliance with the other Factions."
"As you can imagine, Traditionalists vs. Progressivists is a tale as old as time, and thus a Devil Civil War resulted, further diminishing our population. The end result of the Civil War being the victory of the New Satan's, and an increased reliance on Reincarnated Devils to replenish our numbers."

This limitation comes in the form of 'Evil Pieces', which for I'm guessing personal reasons on his part, look like and perform actions based on chess pieces. The reason I'm not going to Reincarnate you is twofold. One, I've already used up all of my Evil Pieces on my Peerage members here."
Flauros pauses for a moment to gesture at the cultist chicks. Didn't he say something about Reincarnated Devils effectively being slaves to the Devil who Reincarnates them? Yeah, fair enough that he'd use his pieces on a bunch of total babes.

"So, if I'm not going to Reincarnate you for your Sacred Gear, then why go to all this trouble? Well, that's where good ol' Uncle Azazel comes in handy. Azazel is the leader of the Fallen Angels and really doesn't care for the Great War to continue. He became somewhat obsessed with Sacred Gears and spends most of his time studying Sacred Gears, and trying to create his own Artificial Sacred Gears. Now, one product of his research was a special Sacred Gear Removal Ritual, that allows for the forcible extraction of a Sacred Gear from its owner, allowing it to be passed to someone else."
Oh. So that's where this is going. "You want to take my Sacred Gear for yourself then?"
"Yep." He says while popping the "P". "You see Genshirou, you possess a rather special Sacred Gear called 'Absorption Line'. One of the four Vritra-type Sacred Gears, created from and housing the essence of Vritra, the Prison Dragon, the Enveloper, the Darkness Dragon King. An Evil Dragon and one of the Five Great Dragon Kings. Dragon-type Sacred Gears are extremely coveted due to their great power, but Vritra is arguably in a class of his own."
"Huh. That sounds pretty badass." "It does, doesn't it? Too bad you'll never have the opportunity to experience it for yourself." Right, this guy's planning on taking my Sacred Gear. That kinda sucks.
"Right then. Commence the final stages of the Ritual ladies!" "Yes Master!" All of the cultist chicks shout out at once as they begin speaking in some other language. There's some sort of glowing coming from behind me and then-

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that since Sacred Gears are bound to the souls of their owners, the forcible extraction of a Sacred Gear from its host damages the soul of the host. Naturally, damage to the soul is one of the most painful things one can experience, and the shock of it is painful enough to kill a Human. So yeah, you're fucked dude. Nothing personal."

After what feels like an eternity, the pain begins to fade as a purplish black sphere floats out of my chest. Inside the sphere is a strange obsidian-colored gauntlet that kinda looks like a gecko or chameleon.

So, having shelled out 40DP on both the Removal Device and Basic Removal Ritual, I dispatched Violet and Hanzo to retrieve Genshirou Saji so that I could extract [Absorption Line] from him. Now for my next trick. Activating the [All World's Creation] domain of the Estate, I cast a new Spell. See, the Vritra-type Gears are all connected due to their connection to Vritra, so if I have one of the Vritra Gears, then I can theoretically use my power here in the estate to cast a tracking spell to locate the other Vritra Gears.
After a few minutes pass, I succeed in diving the current locations of the remaining three Vritra-type Sacred Gears. Excellent. "Ladies. I'm about to telepathically transmit a series of coordinates to you. Go to those locations and retrieve the target individuals. Return them to me alive." "Yes Master." They responds.
*One Hour Later*
As the last owner of the Vritra-type Sacred Gears falls to the floor dead, I take a moment to eye my new possessions. I could go ahead and integrate the Sacred Gears into me, but I don't just yet.
I'm fairly certain that once I take possession of all four Vritra Gears, Vritra's Soul will resurrect. He may not be overly appreciative of the stunt I pulled to acquire him, and I don't feel like arguing with him. First, I need to ensure Vritra's loyalty to me.
With that in mind, I spend 10DP to acquire the [Evil Presence] Perk. I'm pretty sure this is based on the Spell of the same name from Overlord 2, which is great for me. I then retreat to a room I set aside for various rituals, get comfy, and begin blasting the full might of [Evil Presence] while super-charging its effects with and [All World's Creation].
Now, the thing is that there's a few complications that would normally arise from my current course of action. The first problem, [All World's Creation] can't affect feelings, emotions, or free will. The second problem, [Evil Presence] can only affect organic lifeforms.
Thankfully, therein lay the solution. I can use [All World's Creation] to alter the properties of [Evil Presence] so that it can corrupt souls bound in objects, such as Vritra's, making up for the limits of both [All World's Creation] and [Evil Presence]. As for the problem of Vritra's willpower being strong enough to resist [Evil Presence]? Not a concern so long as his Sacred Gears remain separate like this.
As long as he remains divided among four Sacred Gears, he can't muster the individual might to resist a super-charged [Evil Presence] nearly as well as he otherwise could.
After about an hour or so, I can feel the final dregs of Vritra's will finally submitting. Huh, I guess that's an Evil Dragon King for you. Even divided and dormant, his will was strong enough to resist me for this long. I can only imagine how annoying he'd have been had I fused the Sacred Gears together first.
Finally content that I've succeeded in suppressing Vritra and engendering his loyalty, I finally begin the process of integrating the four Sacred Gears, [Absorption Line], [Blaze Black Flare], [Delete Field], and [Shadow Prison] into myself.
Suddenly, as soon as they finish stabilizing within me, I feel a mighty presence well up within me and am dragged into an illusionary space. I'm standing upon a rocky pinnacle overlooking a sea of purple-black flames. The sky is filled with black clouds with purple lightning bolts and purple fireballs raining down like meteorites. The sun is eclipsed by an ominous obsidian moon.
Rising out of the sea of cursed flames is a massive Eastern Dragon with black scales and violet eyes. He possesses a prominent third eye on his forehead. and various purple glowing tentacles sprouting from his body.

Suddenly, I'm returned from the illusionary space within the Sacred Gear. Admittedly, I was slightly concerned that with Vritra's affinity for curses, he'd detect and remove the [Evil Presence] I applied to him once he fully awakened, but it seems my concerns were for naught.

From a tiny cut to full-on removal of limbs, your healing factor will be as good as a phenix's. Your enemies will need to completely eradicate your entire existence before you stay dead for good. With practice and effort, you might even be able to heal others.

Sometimes people have problems, sometimes a conversation goes a long way. Now you can lend an ear or some helpful advice... or the bitter truth to help someone grow past their problems and be a better person from it. They'll listen to you, even if they might not want to. This will even work on enemies to some degree.

Emotions have the power to change the world! To change people! To change your future from a bleak terrible bad end to a future filled with hope and laughter, basically, the more you feel for something, the stronger you get in that moment of emotional outrage or your sacred gear might spontaneously get stronger or evolve instead.

Holy Resistance
I can't really give you full immunity but I can make it hurt less if you get hit by holy light! With this perk, you can shrug off a good deal of damage from holy light before its poisonous aspects actually start to affect you.

Enhanced Shapeshifting
Now you have some degree of conscious control over your physical form. Capable of changing height, weight, and even the color of your skin and hair color, if you have the creative thoughts perk, then you'll be able to add animal traits into the mix or even straight out transform into one.

You can now pull on the earth's hatred for a boost in power if you're in a tight spot. Senjutsu is difficult to learn and master, so this perk makes it easier to do just that.
