“Listen to me. Since you’re already living together, don’t waste such a great advantage.”

“Normally, make good use of your weak position. Act a little delicate and fragile. Men fall for that every time.”

Su Qinghe had no experience in this area. Hearing Bai Yuning talk about acting weak left her with a vague understanding, as if she grasped it but not completely.Full novel: After I Saved the Fallen Campus Belle, She Refused to Let Me Go — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Seeing her confusion, Bai Yuning continued, “For example, when you’re taking a shower, pretend you forgot to bring a towel and ask him to pass one to you.”

“Or when there’s thunder and rain at night, say you’re scared and just slip into his bed.”

Su Qinghe’s face flushed, her heart racing. When she heard the second suggestion, her whole body trembled slightly.

Last night, she had already used that method… but Jiang Che still hadn’t slept with her…

D-did she have to go even further?

“That doesn’t seem very appropriate…” The campus belle’s mind flashed with some not-so-innocent images, and her voice stuttered. “Jiang Che would definitely think I’m not reserved…”

“What’s there to worry about being reserved? That kind of thing is useless.”

Bai Yuning spoke like someone experienced. “The most important thing now is to make him get used to your presence, make it so he can’t live without you.”

“Besides, you’re so pretty and your figure is great. With just a little bit of acting cute, no man can resist.”

She looked Su Qinghe up and down, growing more satisfied the longer she looked.

This rabbit-like personality, paired with a face that was both pure and alluring, along with the fragile image of a blind girl.

She could only say it was unbeatable. If she were a man, she would not be able to resist.

If Jiang Che could hold back, she would write her name backward.

“But…” Even though Bai Yuning sounded convincing, Su Qinghe still hesitated. “I’m afraid he might start to dislike me…”

In her eyes, Jiang Che was a kind and upright person. Could someone like him really be won over by such… questionable methods?

“He won’t.”

Compared to Su Qinghe’s uncertainty, Bai Yuning seemed completely confident.

She cut her off firmly, “Trust me. Men all fall for this, especially someone like Jiang Che, who acts tough but has a soft heart.”

“Think about it. Do you want to stay his ‘friend’ forever and watch another woman move into that house and sleep beside him?”

“Or do you want to try and make him completely yours?”

Bai Yuning knew exactly how to strike at the heart. With just one sentence, she hit Su Qinghe’s deepest fear.

Another woman…

Just imagining that scene made Su Qinghe’s heart ache sharply.

No. Absolutely not.

Jiang Che was the one who pulled her out of hell. He was the only light in her dark world.

She could not lose him.

Even if she had to use… methods that were not entirely honorable.

Her hands slowly clenched at her sides. After a long pause, she nodded firmly.

“I… I want to try.”

Bai Yuning snapped her fingers in satisfaction. “That’s more like it!”

“Come on, let me teach you a few more secret techniques.”

Holding Su Qinghe’s hand, Bai Yuning leaned close and whispered for quite a while.

Su Qinghe listened with a flushed face, letting out occasional soft gasps, but in the end, she obediently nodded and memorized everything.

Even if it sounded embarrassing… for Jiang Che, she was willing to learn.

After finishing, Bai Yuning checked the time and patted her hand. “Alright, it’s about time. Let’s go find that pig. He’s probably getting anxious waiting for us.”

“Mm.” Su Qinghe took a deep breath, adjusted her expression, and followed Bai Yuning out of the restroom.

…

Outside the ophthalmology specialist’s office on the fourth floor.

Jiang Che sat on a bench in the hallway, absentmindedly scrolling through his phone. But he was not taking in a single word on the screen.

His thoughts were completely occupied with Su Qinghe.

It had been nearly half an hour. Did dealing with a period really take this long?

Could it be that she was too weak and had fainted inside?

Or maybe the stain on her dress was too difficult to clean, and she was in there crying, too embarrassed to come out?

The more he thought about it, the more restless he became. Several times he stood up, ready to rush upstairs, but forced himself to stop.

If he barged into the women’s restroom and got caught as a pervert, making the news, his father would probably break his legs.

Just as he was tapping his foot so hard it felt like he might crack the floor, two figures finally appeared at the end of the hallway.

Bai Yuning was holding Su Qinghe’s arm as they walked slowly toward him.

The moment Jiang Che saw her, it was as if a hidden switch had been flipped. He sprang to his feet and strode over.

“Why did it take so long? Nothing happened, right?”

He first glanced at Bai Yuning, who simply shrugged. Then he turned his attention to Su Qinghe, carefully looking her over from head to toe.

Her clothes were tidied, his jacket still tied around her waist. Everything seemed normal.

But…

His gaze stopped on her face.

Her eyes were red, her eyelids slightly swollen, and her lashes still damp and clumped together. She had clearly cried not long ago, and quite badly.

Jiang Che’s brows immediately furrowed. He pulled her behind him protectively and turned to question Bai Yuning, “Did you bully her?”

Bai Yuning was stunned by the sudden accusation, then rolled her eyes dramatically. “Huh?”

“Then why is she crying like this?” Jiang Che pointed at Su Qinghe’s swollen eyes. “I asked you to help her deal with her clothes. What did you say to her?”

“Did you start lecturing her with your weird theories again? Or did you think she was troublesome?”

“I’m warning you, Bai Yuning. She’s very timid. She can’t handle that kind of pressure.”

It was not entirely Jiang Che’s fault for thinking this way. Bai Yuning had always liked to lecture him before, often looking at him with obvious disdain.

So he instinctively assumed she had done the same to Su Qinghe.

“Jiang Che… that’s not it…”

Afraid the two would start arguing, Su Qinghe quickly reached out and tugged at Jiang Che’s sleeve. Peeking out from behind him, she softly explained, “Sister Bai didn’t bully me… she’s been very kind to me…”

“I just… I just thought Sister Bai is too kind, and it reminded me of the past… I couldn’t hold back my tears…”

Hearing this, Jiang Che’s hostility eased a little, but he still looked at Bai Yuning suspiciously. “Really?”

Bai Yuning crossed her arms and looked at her foolish cousin in exasperation.

“Didn’t you hear? Those were tears of being moved.”

“I say, Jiang Che, aren’t you being a bit too obvious with how protective you are? I’m your actual sister, and this is how you think of me?”

“Oh my~ wasn’t it you just now in the consultation room, swearing up and down that you’re just friends, nothing more?”

She deliberately mimicked his earlier tone, speaking in a teasing, sarcastic way. “Tsk tsk, and you call that ‘nothing’? If there were something, would you just eat me alive?”
