Boom!

Fist and sword qi collided violently in midair!

That razor-sharp sword qi, capable of piercing metal and stone, shattered inch by inch before Chu Feng’s faintly golden-glowing fist, breaking apart like paper and dispersing into streams of light!

“What?!”

A shocked exclamation burst uncontrollably from outside the window.

In the next instant, a black figure leapt into the room like a great bird, landing silently about 10 meters away from Chu Feng.

The newcomer was dressed in black, his figure tall and upright. A ferocious ghost mask covered his face, and in his hand was a long sword radiating chilling cold. His entire presence exuded a deathly stillness.

“Lord Mingjian!” Hongling, collapsed on the ground, erupted with joy as if she had just escaped death upon seeing him.

However, the man called Mingjian did not even glance at her. His eyes, visible through the mask, locked firmly onto Chu Feng. His voice was hoarse and cold. “Such a powerful body. Everyone says the Heir of the Zhenbei Marquis Manor is a Prodigal drained by wine and women. It seems we’ve all been fooled by you.”

“Too much nonsense.” Chu Feng shook his hand casually. There was only a faint white mark on his fist—not even the skin was broken.

Before his words even settled, he stomped his foot, and his entire body shot forward like a cannonball. His fist drove straight ahead, smashing toward Mingjian’s face!

The Divine Demonic Tyrant Body was the embodiment of extreme hardness and pure yang force—one strength to suppress all techniques!

A flicker of surprise flashed in Mingjian’s eyes. He clearly hadn’t expected Chu Feng to take the initiative.

With a cold snort, his wrist flicked, and his sword traced out a brilliant arc. A terrifying pressure far beyond the Meridian Opening Realm erupted instantly!

The might of the Innate Realm!

“Overestimating yourself!”

The sword flashed. Though launched later, it arrived first, striking Chu Feng’s fist with absolute precision.

Bang!

Chu Feng felt an overwhelming force surge through his fist. His body was sent flying uncontrollably. He flipped midair, landed steadily, yet still staggered back seven or eight steps.

Lowering his gaze, he saw a clear blood mark had appeared on his fist.

“To withstand my sword with just your body—you can be proud,” Mingjian said hoarsely. Then killing intent surged again. “But this ends here!”

His figure blurred, and his sword turned into a deadly streak of light, thrusting toward Chu Feng once more.

However, a cyan figure was faster!

Clang!

A crisp metallic clash rang out.

Qingniao had appeared in front of Chu Feng at some unknown moment. The soft sword in her hand, thin as a cicada’s wing, precisely blocked Mingjian’s fatal strike.

An equally vast Innate Realm pressure erupted from her slender body!

Chu Feng was stunned as well.

Damn… my cheap father actually found me such a powerful bodyguard?

“Nether Tower?” Qingniao’s voice was as cold as frost, killing intent blazing in her phoenix eyes. “Daring to touch the Heir—you truly have a death wish!”

“A mere maid of the Zhenbei Marquis Manor possessing such cultivation!” Mingjian quickly recovered from his shock, his tone turning grave. “It seems our intelligence this time was completely wrong!”

Before his words even faded, the two had already turned into blurred shadows, clashing fiercely within the confined room.

Sword qi surged in all directions, violent winds sweeping outward!

Tables, chairs, screens, and ornaments were all reduced to powder by the aftermath of their battle.

Chu Feng watched, his eyelids twitching. So this was a clash between Innate Realm experts… truly terrifying.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

After a rapid series of collisions, the two figures suddenly separated.

A slash had been cut across Mingjian’s chest, while Qingniao now bore a thin line of blood.

An even match!

Mingjian glanced deeply at the expressionless Qingniao, then at the calm and composed Chu Feng. His hoarse voice rang out, “Good. Very good! The targets of Nether Tower—whether in heaven or underworld—no one can protect them. We will meet again soon!”

With that, his wrist twisted sharply.

Slash!

A flash of sword light streaked past. Hongling, who had just moments ago been filled with hope, suddenly had a thin line of blood across her throat. She clutched her neck, disbelief filling her eyes, before collapsing stiffly to the ground.

Eliminate all roots!

Having done this, Mingjian’s figure flickered, and he leapt out through the window.

Qingniao’s eyes turned cold as she moved to give chase.

“No need to chase,” Chu Feng suddenly said, stopping her.

If an Innate Realm assassin was determined to escape, it would be extremely difficult to keep him.

Qingniao halted and returned to Chu Feng’s side, bowing respectfully. “My apologies for alarming you, Heir.”

“It’s fine. You’ve already done well.”

Chu Feng shook his head, then walked outside. Looking at the Pleasure Pavilion attendants, who were pale with fear, he said calmly, “Go. Call whoever is in charge here.”

Soon, Madam Feng—the voluptuous woman from earlier—arrived, supported by two attendants. She trembled as she walked in. When she saw the carnage in Heaven No. 1 Room, her legs went weak, and she nearly collapsed.

Chu Feng sat on the only intact chair, slowly wiping his hands with a silk handkerchief. Without even lifting his head, he asked, “Your Pleasure Pavilion’s Courtesan Queen is an assassin. Did you know about this?”

Madam Feng’s heart skipped a beat. Her face turned deathly pale as she stammered, “I… I didn’t know! Heir, please investigate clearly!”

“What a fine ‘didn’t know.’” Chu Feng tossed the handkerchief onto the ground, his gaze turning icy. “I was nearly killed on your territory. Tell me, how should this debt be settled?”

“I… I’m willing to compensate! Heir, just name the amount!” Madam Feng said hastily.

“Compensate?” Chu Feng laughed. “Can you afford my life?”

He stood up, kicked the chair in front of him over, his voice as cold as ice. “From today onward, your Pleasure Pavilion will shut down.”

“No!” Madam Feng screamed, her face drained of all color. “Heir, you mustn’t! Do… do you know who stands behind my Pleasure Pavilion?”

“Oh? Who?” Chu Feng asked with interest.

“It’s… it’s His Highness the Fifth Prince!” Madam Feng gritted her teeth and revealed her final backing.

At that moment, a commotion arose downstairs.

“Where’s that useless Chu Feng? Get your ass out here!”

A domineering voice approached from afar.

Chu Feng raised a brow and walked to the railing, looking down.

In the main hall, Wang Chong—whose face had been slapped into a swollen mess earlier—was leading a richly dressed, arrogant young man, standing there aggressively.

It was Wang Chong’s master, the grandson of the current Right Chancellor, Bai Bufan.

Chu Feng picked at his ear lazily and said, “Whose dog is barking here? Making such a racket in the middle of the night—how annoying.”

The hall fell silent instantly.

All eyes gathered on Chu Feng, filled with disbelief.

Wang Chong, standing beside Bai Bufan, saw Chu Feng and immediately erupted with venomous hatred. Pointing at him, he shouted, “Young Master Bai, it’s him! That useless trash was the one who hit me!”

Bai Bufan raised his head and looked at Chu Feng coldly. “Chu Feng, you hit my man. Shouldn’t you give me an explanation? As the saying goes, when you beat a dog, you must look at its owner.”

“Look at the owner when beating a dog?”

Chu Feng smiled.

His figure flickered, and he leapt directly from the second-floor railing, landing lightly in front of Bai Bufan.

Under everyone’s stunned gaze—

Smack!

A loud slap, even more resounding than before, landed viciously on Bai Bufan’s face!

“Then today, this Heir will beat you, the owner, along with the dog. What can you do about it?”
