Yan’s Father had a headache from her nagging: “Please stop, dear. Everyone has their own fate. Level Ten is just Level Ten.”

Yan’s Mother was furious: “Do you know how glorious Level Ten is?! That’s a combat machine capable of installing all high-level cybernetic bodies! An invincible existence!”

She planted her hands on her hips and declared: “If my child were Level Ten, I’d go shit on my enemies’ heads!”Full novel: After Rebirth, the Real Young Lady Became a Heartthrob Through Involution — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yan Juexia: “…Then it’s a good thing I’m not Level Ten.”

Yan’s Mother glared at Yan Juexia: “Don’t be smart-mouthed! You better build a good relationship with her and don’t argue. When your father and I die, you’ll be the next generation of heirs. You all need to use each other! What if she kills you with one hand?!”

Yan Juexia bristled: “I’m not that weak!”

Yan’s Father clasped his hands together eagerly: “Son, you should date her, become her first love. That way, when you grow up, you’ll have a buff!”

Yan’s Mother was reminded and said firmly: “Right! Best to date her, and even if you break up, let her be the one to dump you. Become the ex-boyfriend she threw away!”

Yan Juexia’s face darkened. He downed his milk in one gulp and slammed the glass on the table: “So annoying! Who wants to date her?! I don’t like girls stronger than me!”

He got up and left.

Yan’s Mother called after him: “At least be friends with her, and don’t argue!”

Yan Juexia didn’t respond.

Just because that person is Level Ten, he has to cling to her?

No way!

Early the next morning, news exploded across North Yue Academy!

“Did you hear? We’re about to get a big shot with a combat implant accommodation level of ten!”

“What?! Level Ten?! Are there even Level Ten people in the world?”

“Everyone at North Yue Hospital is talking about it. They tested it last night! A lot of people heard the electronic broadcast!”

“Doesn’t that mean everything except the brain can be modified into machinery?!”

“Our school has so many Level Nine chaebol young masters. If another Level Ten comes, won’t they all be overshadowed?!”

“Shh, don’t say that! The young masters are here!”

They looked outside the teaching building.

Several hover cars descended from the sky, their mechanical doors slowly opening. Yan Juexia, Chi Ye, and others stepped out of their respective hover cars.

The nine young masters, each with distinct looks and different temperaments, were all tall and strode toward the teaching building.

Li Wuyou was among them, walking beside her two brothers at the very edge. She held her head high with pride, basking in the students’ gazes.

Walking to school with them every day was her happiest time!

Her vanity soared!

The students’ eyes didn’t linger on Li Wuyou at all.

Because she was simply unremarkable, already blending into the background.

A student stared at the handsome faces, murmuring in a daze: “I wonder what that Level Ten person is like, to overshadow these chaebol heirs.”

Another hover car descended from above, slowly stopping at the school gate.

The students were surprised: “Huh? Another hover car?”

Hover cars were expensive, bulletproof and fireproof, costing five billion each, with annual maintenance fees in the hundreds of millions—not something easily affordable.

Apart from the wealthiest chaebol young masters in the school, other students came by regular cars.

Now there was another hover car?!Yan Juexia turned at the sound, looking at the suddenly appeared hover car. “Whose family bought a hover car?”

Chi Ye glanced back, unsurprised, and fixed his gaze on the hover car’s door.

Li Zhiyin sat inside the hover car, watching the scenery outside the window.

Back in the Slums, she had seen hover cars through a telescope.

Outside was pitch black, all metal, without even a window. Apart from being able to fly and being bulletproof, she couldn’t see what was so enjoyable about it.

Now that she was here, she realized that once the hover car started, the metal would become transparent.

She could see the splendid views of the affluent district in Lanshan City, as clear as if the door were open.

There was also privacy protection—not only could those outside not see inside, but the ride was even smoother and more comfortable than a car.

She knew the rich lived a good life.

She just hadn’t expected it to be such a heavenly existence.

Her gaze swept over the stunned faces of the students one by one.

She could even handle the attention of so many people.

In their eyes, there was none of the disdain and scrutiny from the Slums, only envy and curiosity.

Not bad at all.

Shen Lianyan watched the students’ astonished looks and curled her lips. “It seems you’re going to cause quite a stir today. Let me repeat what you, as the heir, should do.”

Shen Lianyan reminded her, “Our family started in security. The people under us are mercenaries and bodyguards. Essentially, it’s a service industry. Those major families are all our potential clients. You must build good relationships with the young masters and ladies of these families because they will all be your future potential clients.”

“The major families form strong alliances. I, Shen Lianyan, started from nothing. Although I have the Shen family backing me, it’s not truly my own strength. Many people secretly look down on me, so we absolutely cannot afford to lose connections.”

“As long as you can build good relationships and secure deals for me through them, I’ll give you a commission.”

“The stronger the family you connect with, the higher the commission I’ll give you. If you argue with my potential clients, I’ll deduct your allowance. If you end up on bad terms with all those young masters and ladies, you’ll have to pack up and leave. Understand?”

Of course, she understood.

She came here to earn money and gain power.

Li Zhiyin’s gaze fell on the young masters.

Among their handsome yet guarded faces, only Yan Juexia’s held a naive foolishness.

Yan Juexia’s azure-blue eyes were still fixed on her direction, as if trying to bore a hole through the hover car.

Confident of success, she said, “I’ll start with Yan Juexia.”

Shen Lianyan was surprised. “The Yan family is one of the conglomerates. Yan Juexia has been pampered since childhood, never having suffered hardship. Although he’s a boy, he’s inherently delicate and spoiled. He won’t be easy to handle.”

But Li Zhiyin didn’t think so. “No, he’s the easiest to handle.”

The hover car’s door slowly opened.

Yan Juexia squinted, looking closely.

A slender, stocking-clad leg extended out.

He and the others couldn’t help but be drawn to this beautiful leg, their eyes following it upward.

Li Zhiyin stood at the entrance of the academy, wearing the North Yue Academy’s uniform skirt. The early summer breeze gently brushed through her jet-black long hair.

A flash of admiration passed through their eyes.

Compared to yesterday’s plain appearance, Li Zhiyin looked much more refined today.

In an era of fluffy, curly hair, her hair was jet-black, smooth, and straight. Her straight bangs framed her face, making it appear as small as a palm. She naturally had round almond-shaped eyes, lips as plump as a cat’s, and a small, upturned nose without any sharp edges—every feature was delicate and charming.

Yet, beneath this blunt-cut, straight black hair, her beauty was sharp and unapproachable.

Yan Juexia stood with his mouth agape, utterly stunned.

Chi Ye was also momentarily dazed before snapping back to reality, his brows furrowing in frustration.

Li Zhiyin walked up to them. “Good morning.”

Chi Ye averted his gaze, refusing to look at her. “Mm, good morning.”

She then turned her attention to Yan Juexia.

Yan Juexia was of mixed heritage. According to his profile, his mother was an international supermodel, and he had inherited eighty percent of her beauty. The rest was a blend of his father’s ruggedness—Western bone structure with Eastern features.

He was naturally blond with blue eyes, which looked particularly striking in the sunlight.

Like the deep blue of the ocean.

Or even more like a blue-eyed Persian cat that had gained sentience.

His eyes carried an innate air of lazy elegance, and his demeanor was proud.

But at this moment, Yan Juexia’s gaze held something else as he stared blankly at her face, seemingly mesmerized.

She seized the opportunity to break the silence. “Is there something on my face, Yan Juexia?”
