Inside a shabby, cluttered container less than ten square meters in size, the floor was littered with empty liquor bottles and cigarette butts.

No lights were on in the room; instead, countless crimson candles were lit in the open space.

These candles formed a large circle, and in the center of the circle was a bizarre pentagram drawn in fresh blood.Full novel: After Redeeming the Creepy and Twisted, They Became My Dogs — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The source of the blood was a young woman seated at the center of the pentagram.

A continuous stream of blood trickled down from her wrist, yet she seemed oblivious to the pain. Her hollow eyes were filled with a morbid fervor and despair, and her pale lips moved incessantly, murmuring incantations no one could understand.

The excessive loss of blood meant her life was nearing its end, but she paid it no mind. With her last ounce of strength, she uttered the final spell.

As her body collapsed from exhaustion, a strange Netherwind swept through, extinguishing all the candles in an instant. A black vortex appeared beneath the woman.

Out of thin air, a stunning red-haired beauty materialized mid-air. Her skin was snow-white, her figure curvaceous with an alluring bust and hips, and her face was exquisitely beautiful. Yet, she was distinctly different from a human.

She had a pair of black, goat-like horns on her head, ears resembling those of an elf, small black wings on her back, and a tail with a heart-shaped tip protruding from her tailbone!

Her attire was equally bold and revealing: a black leather bustier hugged her snow-white curves, with two black lace straps extending downward, tightly wrapping around her slender waist like tattoos, eventually connecting to a seductive thong at her hips.

Her straight, slender legs were encased in black lace stockings, and she wore thigh-high boots.

“Was it you who summoned me?”

The female demon landed softly and sauntered over with a seductive catwalk, crouching before the woman. With fingers painted in black nail polish, she provocatively lifted the woman’s chin.

Jiang Xiaoman nodded excitedly. She never imagined that her desperate, absurd attempt, made at the cost of her own life, would actually succeed in summoning a demon!

“Great Demon, I am willing to offer my soul, if only you will help me fulfill my wish!”

Tears of humiliation streamed down her cheeks as she prostrated herself, reverently kissing the demon’s shoe.

“Oh? Tell me, what is your wish?”

The female demon raised an eyebrow, a seductive smile curling her red lips—a smile so enchanting it could steal one’s soul.

“I want you to become me. Make Li Yan fall in love with me, let him taste the agony of unrequited love for a lifetime. I want you to ruin my father’s business, make him lose his wife and children, wander destitute, and live the rest of his life in regret!”

Jiang Xiaoman’s eyes burned with intense jealousy and hatred as she gritted her teeth and voiced her desires.

Demons thrive on tainted souls.

The deeper the desire, the more delectable the soul.

Rose was highly pleased with Jiang Xiaoman’s soul. A wicked smile played on her lips as she seductively licked them. “Your soul, I accept!”

With that, her crimson lips met Jiang Xiaoman’s pale, dry ones.

The scorching warmth sent a shiver through Jiang Xiaoman’s body, and her expression gradually grew vacant.

To receive a “divine” kiss before death—perhaps this was the greatest fortune in her unfortunate life…

A satisfied smile graced Jiang Xiaoman’s lips as she slowly closed her eyes.

A glowing pearl drifted out from her mouth and landed in the demon’s hand, while her body dissolved into bubbles, vanishing completely.

“How beautiful…”

Rose gazed at the colorful “glass bead” in her hand, her eyes brimming with admiration, and brought it to the tip of her nose for a gentle sniff.

So fragrant… It would surely taste even more delicious after fulfilling her wish…

As her crimson lips kissed the soul bead, Jiang Xiaoman’s memories flooded her mind.

Jiang Xiaoman had once been born into a wealthy family, but unfortunately, her mother passed away from illness when she was three. Afterward, her father married his secretary.

The secretary brought along a daughter who was a year older than Jiang Xiaoman. Under the deliberate “spoiling” of her stepmother, Jiang Xiaoman’s personality grew spoiled and willful, allowing her to coast smoothly all the way to university.

At first sight, she set her sights on Li Yan, the heartthrob of F University, and began relentlessly pursuing him. However, Li Yan despised her intensely, instead falling for Ran Yuan, a financially struggling scholarship student at the university.

Jealousy drove Jiang Xiaoman to a complete moral downfall. She constantly harassed Ran Yuan and even attempted to hire people to assault her, hoping Li Yan would despise her as a result.

When the truth came to light, her father, fearing retaliation from the Li family, immediately severed their father-daughter relationship.

The original Jiang Xiaoman instantly went from a lofty wealthy heiress to a universally despised outcast.

After the Li family intervened, she found it impossible to survive domestically and could only smuggle herself abroad, where she became a masseuse selling her looks. She was then targeted by ill-intentioned individuals and developed a gambling addiction… Ultimately, with no way out, she chose to gamble with death as her final act.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. How pitiful.

No wonder the resentment is so heavy.

Ding—

The shattered screen of the old phone rang. With a flick of her hand, the phone floated into Rose’s grasp.

It was clearly a work message, saved under the name “Three-Second-Stream Pervert,” instructing the host to arrive at his place promptly at 8 p.m. to provide service.

“Tsk.”

Rose clicked her tongue in displeasure.

Because she had been under close surveillance by four Archangels, she hadn’t consumed any souls or Essence for a long time. Left with no choice, she had to travel through the gates of hell to various alternate worlds in search of believers. If she didn’t eat soon, she’d suffer from malnutrition.

As a hybrid of demon and succubus, her sustenance could be either human souls or human Essence.

The “dirtier” the soul, the more delicious it was, while Essence was purer the higher the status and position of the individual.

Unfortunately, Rose was picky. She would rather starve than settle for just anything.

In other words, Jiang Xiaoman’s “clientele” were simply beneath her notice.

But since she had to become “Jiang Xiaoman,” she still had to do the job—at the very least, she couldn’t break character!

Since she had nothing better to do, she might as well go take a look. Who knows? She might even scout out some decent food.

After all, to fulfill Jiang Xiaoman’s wish, she would have to stay in this alternate world for a long time. The longer she stayed, the greater her energy consumption would be.

If she didn’t replenish herself, she wouldn’t be able to hold on.

With a snap of her fingers, Rose transformed into Jiang Xiaoman’s appearance. Hooking a knockoff bag over her arm, she stepped out of the cluttered container rental room in bright red high heels.

This “client” lived in the same area as Jiang Xiaoman. The place was a chaotic mix of all sorts, the ground littered with garbage, and addicts lying sprawled and disheveled at intervals along the alleyways.

Exiting the alley, the sidewalks were filled with heavily made-up streetwalkers soliciting passersby, along with many ill-intentioned street thugs.

But no one dared to approach Rose to cause trouble.

Because one of Jiang Xiaoman’s regular clients was the small-time boss who managed this part of the Lower City District.

After walking three blocks, Rose arrived at her destination.

It was an old-style building without an elevator, yet despite its shabby condition, it was far better than the container Jiang Xiaoman lived in.

The ‘diner’s’ home was on the seventh floor. She climbed the stairs all the way up and finally reached the door at exactly one minute to eight.

Thud—

A dull, heavy sound came from inside the room.

Following it was an overpowering, pungent smell of blood, along with an irresistibly sweet and enticing fragrance.

Could there be a high-quality Essence man inside?

An unexpected gain…

Rose’s red lips curved slowly upward as she bent down with practiced ease, retrieved the key from under the mat, and unlocked the door.

Inside, a young man wearing a custom-tailored suit and a golden half-mask once again raised the hammer in his hand high and brought it down heavily on the ‘diner’s’ head.

Squelch—

Blood splattered onto Rose’s face as she pushed the door open.

Hearing the noise, the man halted his movement and looked up.

Their gazes met unexpectedly in the air.

This is not a brainless dog-training story. The male leads will not fall in love with Rose at first sight. Rose will follow her character setting and the original host’s wishes, offering corresponding ’emotions’ to lure them step by step into downfall before launching a counterattack at the last moment. It’s a battle of equals. The arrogant men will see her as prey, unaware that she is the hunter. After all, one must give to receive~~ Dear readers who prefer mindless doting, please steer clear. Different strokes for different folks—if this one isn’t your cup of tea, feel free to pick another.
