“Angry? I thought you’d be happy. After all, you’ll have two men doting on you from now on.”

Li Yuan was still laughing, his frivolous attitude utterly infuriating.

“Doting on me? Hah, I should feel so honored. Unfortunately, I’m not blessed enough to enjoy such fortune.”Full novel: After Redeeming the Creepy and Twisted, They Became My Dogs — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Rose pushed his face away with clear disgust and moved to get off the bed.

But Li Yuan grabbed her hand and guided it to Li Yan’s face.

“Jiang Xiaoman, are you sure you want to give up this opportunity? This is Li Yan – the man you’ve been pining for who hurt you so deeply. Don’t you want to get back at him?”

Rose’s body stiffened, her resistance gradually fading as conflicted emotions played across her face.

“If I were you, I wouldn’t pass up this chance to deliver a fatal blow to my enemy! Do you know Li Yan’s weakness? He has severe mysophobia and can’t stand physical contact with anyone. Is there any revenge more cruel than this?”

The devil’s whisper continued.

“Mysophobia? I’m not so sure about that…”

Rose’s lips curved in a mocking smile as her contemptuous gaze slowly traveled downward.

Li Yan closed his eyes in shame.

How could he possibly react to this shameless woman? If not for last night’s stimulation…

“Unwilling?”

Rose patted his cheek in a humiliating manner.

Li Yan just stared at her with hate-filled crimson eyes.

“Did you bring your phone?”

Ignoring the man beneath her, she turned to ask her accomplice Li Yuan.

The other man smiled knowingly and waved his phone.

“Take good shots. Even if it’s unbearable, you’ll have to endure it, oh lofty CEO. I’m taking your first time!”

Rose showed a bitter smile, leaned down, and bit his Adam’s apple.

Moments later…

“Wow, has it started? It’s already over? So our esteemed CEO is actually all bark and no bite.”

Rose laughed until tears nearly streamed from her eyes, then stood up decisively and snatched the phone from Li Yuan, who was also bent over laughing.

She sent the video to her own number.

“You can continue targeting me, or even kill me – if you can bear the consequences.”

She spoke these contemptuous words to the ashen-faced Li Yan, then walked out of the bedroom with disgust to wash up.

“Tsk, that’s rather pitiful… Brother, you should stop targeting Xiaoman. Unless you want the whole world to know you’re a three-second man.”

Li Yuan’s voice carried sympathy, but it was unmistakably tinged with schadenfreude.

As he untied Li Yan, he was unsurprisingly pinned to the ground and beaten severely.

“I don’t mind you continuing to hit me, but don’t you feel sticky and uncomfortable?”

Yawning lazily, he asked with a laugh.

“Get out!”

Li Yan spat these words with a dark expression before rushing into the ensuite bathroom.

“Do you need me to prepare disinfectant for you? Brother…”

Li Yuan continued pushing his buttons from behind.

BANG!

The response was the sound of the door being slammed shut.

In another room.

Rose coldly glanced at the open closet door. The untied ropes remained inside, but it was empty.

Too much stimulation.

She curled her lips slightly, not lingering in this room filled with indescribable scents. Wrapped in her bathrobe, she returned to her own villa. Feeling quite full, she decided to take a beautiful nap to digest everything first.

Ran Yuan didn’t know how she managed to leave Li Yan’s villa.

Her eyes were hollow as she wandered aimlessly like a walking corpse, unconsciously leaving the resort area and entering the chaotic, dilapidated urban district.

Since the hotel hadn’t officially opened yet, although staff were assigned, security remained inadequate. The dozing security guard didn’t even notice when she left.

The wealth gap in this city was extreme. Previously, due to the lack of formal trade between the two countries, several factions of terrorists engaged in smuggling and piracy had controlled the city.

The commercial cooperation between the two nations meant these groups would become primary targets for crackdowns.

As the saying goes, cutting off someone’s livelihood is like killing their parents. Among these factions, some had already set their sights on the Chinese personnel.

Almost immediately after Ran Yuan left the resort, she was spotted and abducted by lookouts.

Too many incidents had occurred the previous night, causing several involved parties to sleep in late.

With their departure from Vietnam approaching, Chi Jin grew anxious waiting for Ran Yuan and Li Yan to meet him.

Many matters required his attention back home, so he had no choice but to send the stewards to fetch them.

Soon, an exhausted-looking Li Yan appeared in the hotel lobby.

“Has something happened?” Chi Jin asked curiously, noting his terrible condition.

“Nothing, just didn’t sleep well last night. Where’s Yuan Yuan?” Li Yan brushed it off with an excuse, unaware that Li Yuan had restrained both him and Ran Yuan the previous night. Nevertheless, feeling ‘tainted,’ he didn’t know how to face Ran Yuan yet.

“I’ve sent stewards to look for her. Don’t tell me you were up all night drinking together? How come everyone’s sleeping so late?” Chi Jin joked.

Though meant lightly, the remark visibly unsettled the other man.

Li Yan, usually calm and composed, now showed clear signs of panic and unease.

Could Yuan Yuan have been there last night too?

No, that’s impossible…

No matter how much Li Yan tried to reassure himself, he couldn’t calm down because he knew perfectly well this was exactly the kind of thing that madman would do!

The flustered steward who came rushing in confirmed his fears.

They had searched the entire resort area but found no trace of Ran Yuan!

“Don’t panic. I’ve already contacted President Li. Should we ask Xiaoman?” Chi Jin hesitantly suggested.

Could this be related to Jiang Xiaoman again?

Li Yan’s face darkened dramatically, but he surprisingly shook his head.

Was the sun rising from the west?

For once, he wasn’t immediately suspecting Jiang Xiaoman.

Chi Jin narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

Only Li Yan knew that Jiang Xiaoman, having been tormented by Li Yuan all night, couldn’t possibly have had energy left to target Ran Yuan.

The only possibility was that the traumatized Ran Yuan had left the resort on her own!

Soon, Li Xue arrived, bringing along Brother Bao whom they’d never formally met.

“This is Bao, who works with Xiaoman. He says he saw Ran Yuan’s whereabouts.”

Bored after a few days in the tourist-free resort, Brother Bao had gone out to gamble at local casinos. His lucky streak kept him playing until morning.

By coincidence, he spotted Ran Yuan walking the streets like a ghost but didn’t think much of it.

They were all adults—surely a grown woman couldn’t get lost?

Unexpectedly, she really had disappeared…

Subsequently, the surveillance footage from the compound also confirmed that no one had kidnapped Ran Yuan—she had left the compound on her own. Her disheartened appearance suggested she had suffered some devastating blow.

Li Yan’s heart plummeted into an abyss of despair the moment he saw the footage.

Ran Yuan knew!
