The presidential suite door clicked shut behind them, locking out the outside world.
Gu Chengyu never loosened his grip, half-dragging, half-pulling Su Qianqian into the spacious, luxurious bathroom. With one long reach, he twisted open the massive showerhead.

A stream of cool water instantly cascaded down, drenching them both.
"Ah!" Su Qianqian gasped as the cold shock hit her, her seaweed-like long hair instantly soaked and clinging messily to her cheeks and neck. She instinctively raised her hands to shield her face, but Gu Chengyu’s large hand clamped around her wrist, immobilizing her.
The water washed over her dull, makeup-covered cheeks.
The tinted moisturizer dissolved too slowly under the stream.
Gu Chengyu grabbed a men’s facial cleanser nearby and moved to smear it across her face.
Su Qianqian turned her head away, evading.
