[Ding! New Daughter of Destiny detected: Lin Qianqian!]
[Beginning binding… Binding successful!]
[Remaining purple Luck Value: —]
[Current Favorability: –190!]
[Warning! When Favorability reaches –200, Host will be subjected to endless pursuit!]
Lin Yu’s face changed. “Damn! She’s my biological sister, and her Favorability is this bad?!”
According to the original plotline, after Lin Qianqian made her appearance, her feelings toward Lin Yu were complicated. Though they were siblings, and she harbored resentment, she had given the original Lin Yu several chances.
If the original hadn’t been so arrogant and dismissive, he might have survived Su Yao’s pursuit under Lin Qianqian’s protection.
But now, Lin Qianqian was already trying to kill him the moment she appeared!
Then Lin Qianqian spoke, her voice cold and mocking. “Lin Yu, my dear brother, I heard you recently awakened the Heavy-Pupils. I came here today to borrow something. I wonder if my dear brother is willing?”
A flicker of wariness passed through Lin Yu’s eyes, but on the surface, he put on a look of noble righteousness. “Of course I’m willing!”
Lin Qianqian raised her brows, a little surprised. “You don’t even want to know what I’m borrowing?”
But Lin Yu showed a gentle, heartache-filled expression. “You’re my sister, my real sister! As long as it’s your request, no matter what it is, I’ll give it to you!”
He emphasized the words “real sister” deliberately.
He had no choice. Lin Qianqian’s initial Favorability was dangerously low. If he said the wrong thing and lost another 10 points, he’d be finished!
Especially since she had purple Luck Value—he couldn’t strip it from her like he did with Lin Qingdi. Once her Favorability dropped into pure hostility, the only thing he could do was run for his life!
Sure enough, Lin Qianqian froze. “What did you just say?”
She had imagined all kinds of reactions from Lin Yu—but never this tender expression.
Lin Qianqian was his half-sister. She had grown up in the Ninefold Sacred Domain, but being born out of wedlock and after their father Lin Wudi mysteriously vanished, the clan neglected and humiliated her.
At the age of seven, her mother died of illness, and the clan ignored her entirely. Lin Qianqian fled the Lin Clan with hatred in her heart. Had she not been lucky enough to be taken in by the Sect Master of Peerless Heaven Domain, she would’ve long been devoured by some wild beast.
For years, she cultivated with intense hardship, all for the day she could rise above and make Lin Yu and the Lin Clan regret it.
But now, Lin Yu’s reaction robbed her of the satisfaction of revenge.
“Is Lin Yu serious? No! He bullied me the most when we were little—he must be faking it!”
Her eyes darkened again with hatred as she sneered, “If that’s the case, then I’ll borrow your Heavy-Pupils. Will you give them to me?”
To her surprise, Lin Yu didn’t hesitate at all. He even smiled. “If little sister wants it, big brother will give it!”
Then, without warning, he raised his hand and thrust it toward his own eye.
Lin Qianqian’s smile vanished. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
She had only said that casually, yet Lin Yu was really about to gouge out his Heavy-Pupils?
“You… stop!”
Panic rose instinctively in her heart as she lunged forward and grabbed Lin Yu’s wrist, her voice involuntarily angry. “Are you crazy?! That’s the Heavy-Pupils!”
Lin Yu’s eyes darkened. “So what if they are? If it makes you happy, even if you want my life, I won’t hesitate.”
Hearing that, Lin Qianqian trembled, stunned as she stared at him. “You…”
Perhaps it was the blood they shared, but Lin Qianqian was genuinely shaken. Lin Yu’s reckless move stirred something deep in her heart—something long dormant.
[Ding! Detected emotional shift in Daughter of Destiny Lin Qianqian toward Host!]
[Favorability +10!]
[Favorability +30!]
[Favorability +35!]
Lin Yu’s heart soared, and he let out a long sigh of relief. He had gambled right!
The moment he moved to destroy his Heavy-Pupils, he’d been scared out of his mind, but to flip the situation, he had no other option.
Thankfully, it worked—Lin Qianqian was convinced.
Smack!
Lin Qianqian finally came to her senses. Her eyes turned red as she yanked her hand away, gritting her teeth. “Lin Yu, that’s enough! Don’t think that just because you were willing to give up your Heavy-Pupils, I’ll forgive you!”
Who could understand the pain she’d endured all these years?
But just then, Lin Yu suddenly pulled her into an embrace and spoke with heartfelt guilt and remorse, “Sister, I’m sorry. I was a useless brother. But I promise you, I will find our father and give you the love you deserve.”
Feeling the warmth of his embrace, Lin Qianqian’s body trembled again. She instinctively wanted to break free.
But Lin Yu held her even tighter. For the first time in her life, she felt true familial warmth.
All the emotions she had buried for more than ten years collapsed at once. Her nose stung, and she burst into tears. “Liar! You’re all liars!” This chapter was copied from novelping dot com without permission.
She struggled and bit hard into Lin Yu’s shoulder, venting all the bitterness in her heart.
[Ding! Detected that Daughter of Destiny Lin Qianqian has forgiven Host!]
[Favorability +40!]
[Favorability +25!]
[Favorability + …!]
[Current Favorability: 100!]
Lin Yu saw the system messages and wiped away his tears, smiling. “Great!”
It had been worth it—even if his arm felt like it was about to fall off from that bite. The pain made him tear up.
Lin Qianqian suddenly looked up at him, her teary eyes red. “What’s so great?”
Snapping back to reality, Lin Yu gave a relieved smile. “It’s great that you’ve forgiven me, little sister.”
At those words, Lin Qianqian’s cheeks flushed. She shoved him hard. “Who said I forgave you? Don’t flatter yourself!”
Then she looked at him seriously, bit her lip, and said, “Remember what you said. You must find our father. Don’t lie to me. If you do, I really will dig out your Heavy-Pupils.”
With that, she fled the scene in a fluster.
Watching her leave, Lin Yu finally let out a huge sigh of relief. “Thank god, I finally got this little ancestor out of here. That was too close.”

Lin Yu’s body jolted in excitement. “It’s here! Finally!”
He had been worrying about purple Luck Value holders. After all, he couldn’t strip that kind of Luck Value directly. What was he supposed to do—grovel for each one?
But now, the Child of Destiny Aura solved his biggest problem.
