“This is the Qin Family,” Su Meng spoke as she entered the room.

She completely ignored the disarray on the floor and walked directly toward Ji Weichen, acting as if she hadn’t noticed the porcelain shard clenched in his palm.

“Miss, don’t…” The servant nearby quickly stopped Su Meng from approaching, her face still showing lingering fear. They didn’t even know when Ji Weichen had woken up – they only knew that the moment someone approached him, he had opened his eyes, stood up, and taken someone hostage with the porcelain shard. His movements were steady, precise, and ruthless, making everyone feel uneasy.Full novel: After the White Moonlight Dies, the Sickly Yandere Boss Relentlessly Pursues — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If he weren’t blind, the situation would likely be completely different now.

Hearing the words “Qin Family,” Ji Weichen showed little reaction. He maintained his original posture, his body tense.

“Let me go,” he said.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Ji Weichen felt a pair of soft hands grasp his wrist. The touch was ticklish yet warm, gradually restoring sensation to his cold, numb hand. He instinctively wanted to shake it off.

“Hey… don’t you remember anything?” The girl’s soft, gentle voice carried confusion and concern. Even though he couldn’t see, he could instantly imagine her expression.

For a moment, Ji Weichen forgot to pull his hand away, only tightening his brow in tension.

Remember… remember what?

Seeing Ji Weichen’s reaction, Su Meng knew the magical item used on him had likely taken effect.

Temporary blindness and… temporary memory loss.

Su Meng calmly sat down beside Ji Weichen.

“I found you in an alley,” Su Meng began. “You were badly injured, hurt by some vicious person. Your breathing was weak, and you tried to push yourself up but didn’t have the strength.”

“Then you reached out to me for help, begging me to save you. And I… just like this…” Su Meng paused, gently taking Ji Weichen’s hand, her voice carrying a subtle temptation.

His eyelashes fluttered slightly. In that moment, Ji Weichen had an illusion – as if it had really happened. He was helpless, trapped in darkness, when a pair of hands gently took hold of him.

“So… you saved me?” Ji Weichen searched through his memories, but there was a blank period he simply couldn’t recall. After a long pause, he finally spoke.

666 wanted to immediately grab Ji Weichen’s head and make him see that he was being deceived by the person before him.

“That’s right,” Su Meng softly confirmed, the very person who had caused his blindness now appearing completely harmless before him.

“You told me your name was Ji Weichen before you fell unconscious, but I couldn’t find your family after asking around. Do you remember anything else?” Su Meng inquired.

“I don’t remember…” Ji Weichen lowered his eyes, shaking his head in confusion and helplessness. He curled up, appearing completely insecure.

“Then stay with my family for now. Don’t worry – the doctor has examined your eyes and says they’ll recover. Your memory loss might be due to a blood clot in your brain. Everything will return to normal, it just takes time. Your injuries will gradually heal too.” Su Meng spoke while gently stroking Ji Weichen’s head.Ji Weichen lifted his gaze, his vacant eyes that should have been unable to see somehow turned toward Su Meng. His eyelashes fluttered lightly, appearing docile and fragile. His black hair hung limply, giving him a soft, adorable, and easily bullied appearance.

“Mmm…” Ji Weichen resembled a confused little animal seeking a sliver of security as he tugged at Su Meng’s sleeve, his voice hoarse from illness.

666 watched helplessly as Ji Weichen was gradually deceived by Su Meng’s coaxing, misled by lies, and slowly began to offer gratitude and trust to the very culprit responsible.

“Of course,” Su Meng said with a beaming smile, her voice so sincere it could fool a child.

“By the way, my name is Qin Meng.”

How does one tame a fierce and ruthless beast?

The method is simple: find a way to remove its sharp fangs and claws, blindfold its vision, strip away all it can rely on and trust, leaving it isolated and vulnerable.

Then, its only and sole option becomes to depend on her, trust her, and become tame and harmless.

As for the first step in raising a little one…
