“I’ll agree to it, alright? I agree! Are you satisfied now, you big pervert!”

Wasn’t he supposed to be the cold and heartless male lead? She hadn’t expected that deep down he was actually a bad guy who liked bullying people.

Song Jingting didn’t mind being called a pervert. Sometimes he even thought he himself was a ruthless pervert.Full novel: After Transmigrating into a Book, I Took Away the President’s Baby — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“When did you take those photos?” Wen Fufu asked.

“If you want to know, then behave and listen to me,” Song Jingting said.

Wen Fufu curled her lips. Even if he didn’t say it, she could guess. He must have secretly taken them while she was asleep. She just didn’t know what the rest of those photos looked like.

Annoying. Extremely annoying.

Wen Fufu said irritably, “You can put me down now.”

What did this man eat to have so much strength?

Song Jingting readily set her down and said, “Won’t you invite me inside to sit?”

Wen Fufu glared at him and said through clenched teeth, “Come in.”

Song Jingting chuckled.

She really wasn’t suited to being a villain. Even though she tried to look fierce, she resembled a little kitten instead—completely unthreatening and even making people want to tease her.

“Wu Gang, inform Lawyer Zhang that he doesn’t need to come anymore.”

“Understood, Young Master.”

“And also—there won’t be a next time.”

Wu Gang broke out in cold sweat. Just now he had been so absorbed in watching the drama that he nearly forgot the Young Master was not a kind person. He would never dare to eavesdrop on gossip again.

Meanwhile in B City, Lawyer Zhang had rushed out of the law firm in a hurry. Just as he reached the entrance, he received notice that he no longer needed to go. Holding his phone, he looked up at the sky speechlessly.

What kind of trick was that ancestor playing now? Was he just messing with him?

Wen Fufu led the man into the house.

At that moment, the sound of a baby crying came from the room. Her precious son had woken up from hunger.

After taking care of her son for several days, Wen Fufu had already figured out his pattern. The little guy only cried when he was hungry. At other times he quietly lay there without making trouble, which saved her a lot of worry.

“You make yourselves comfortable. I’ll go check on him first.”

Wen Fufu tossed those words behind her and walked away.

Song Jingting stood in the courtyard. Only now did he properly observe the courtyard’s appearance. His expression relaxed, and his whole body loosened.

Although this place couldn’t compare to the old residence, it was still comfortable.

The baby’s crying gradually became softer, no longer as loud as before. Following the sound, Song Jingting slowly approached the room.

The door was half closed.

Inside the room, a young girl sat on the bed with her back facing the door. She lifted the upper part of her clothing, revealing her slender, pale waist.

Soon after, a soft sucking sound could be heard inside the room.

When this scene entered his sight, Song Jingting lowered the leg he had just lifted. Slightly awkwardly, he closed the door completely.

After confirming there wasn’t even a small gap left, he turned around and walked away.

Wen Fufu was focused on feeding the baby. When she heard a faint noise behind her, she glanced back.

All she saw was the tightly closed door.

She tilted her head.

Had she heard wrong?

After the baby finished drinking milk, he fell asleep again. Wen Fufu gently placed him back on the bed and tucked the blanket around him.

Looking at the chubby little face, Wen Fufu couldn’t resist touching it.

No doubt about it—the texture felt really good.

But when she thought about the man outside the door, she irritably scratched her hair.

She truly didn’t want any involvement with the male lead. She was just cannon fodder. Getting involved with the male lead was basically asking for trouble.

After feeding the baby, her own stomach, which had been empty for a long time, began to feel hungry.

Wen Fufu resigned herself and walked out of the room.

Song Jingting sat upright on a wooden chair like a statue. When he heard Wen Fufu’s footsteps, he turned to look at her.

“Are you hungry? I’m going to cook some noodles. If you want some, I’ll cook extra.”

Wen Fufu asked in a cold tone, but after saying it she immediately regretted it.

Whether he was hungry or not had nothing to do with her.

“Thank you for the trouble,” Song Jingting said.

“There’s fruit on the coffee table. If you’re hungry, eat some first. The noodles will take more than ten minutes.”

Wen Fufu pointed toward the table before turning toward the kitchen.

Judging by his appearance—and the car parked outside the gate—this man must have driven here himself. The journey from B City to Taohua Village wasn’t short. After traveling that far, it would be strange if he wasn’t hungry.

Just as Wen Fufu entered the kitchen, she suddenly thought of something. She slapped her forehead and quickly ran back to her room to grab her phone.

She hurriedly messaged Shen Xiulan not to bring dinner over.

If Shen Xiulan saw Song Jingting here, how would she even explain it? Just thinking about it gave her a headache.

Song Jingting sat on the sofa watching her run back and forth, her expression constantly changing. He found it quite amusing.

In the kitchen, Wen Fufu grabbed enough noodles for three people. Thinking that a man’s appetite might be bigger than hers, she added another handful.

Soon she cooked three bowls of vegetable noodles, each topped with a fried egg.

It would have to do for now. After all, she had very few ingredients at home.

After the noodles were ready, Wen Fufu carried the tray out and placed the three bowls one by one on the dining table.

She said to the man sitting there like some kind of noble master, “The noodles are ready. Call the person who came with you and let him eat with us.”

Song Jingting sat elegantly at the table and picked up his chopsticks.

“Wu Gang already ate.”

“But I cooked a lot. It would be a waste if it’s not eaten.”

Wen Fufu looked at the extra bowl of noodles.

Should she put it in the refrigerator and save it for a midnight snack?

“It won’t be wasted. I can finish it.”

Wen Fufu thought he was lying.

But when she saw him finish most of a bowl in just a couple of bites, she silently swallowed the words she had been about to say.

If you can’t finish it, don’t force yourself.

Damn it.

Even eating noodles looked elegant when he did it. Comparing people really made one angry.

Meanwhile, Wu Gang sat in the car outside with tears in his eyes, gnawing on a piece of hard bread.

Inside his heart he kept shouting—

He wanted hot noodles too!

Young Master must be punishing him for enjoying the gossip earlier. That had to be it.

After they finished eating, Wen Fufu went straight to the main topic.

“Mr. Song… Mr. Song, let’s talk.”

Song Jingting narrowed his eyes while sipping flower tea, his entire demeanor relaxed and lazy.

“Miss Wen doesn’t need to be so distant with me. I’m already the child’s father.”

“You can call me Jingting, or even call me brother. If I remember correctly, Miss Wen is a few years younger than me. In return, I’ll just call you Fufu so it doesn’t sound so distant.”

Wen Fufu’s mouth twitched, and she shivered.

Hearing her name coming from his mouth felt strangely awkward.

To stop this man from continuing to radiate his charm, Wen Fufu decided to end things quickly.

“Song Jingting, what will it take for you to give up my son?”

“Didn’t I already say it before?” Song Jingting replied.

“You just need to take responsibility for me.”

Wen Fufu ignored that topic.

She suddenly moved closer to him and said seriously, “What if I give you money? How much do you want? I’ll try my best to gather it for you.”

“Do I look like someone who lacks money?”

When Song Jingting wasn’t smiling, he carried a natural authority that made people feel afraid.

Only then did Wen Fufu remember.

The man in front of her was rich. The last thing he lacked was money.

“Stop making useless struggles,” Song Jingting said.
