Araia’s POV”Give me the flower!”
”I don’t want to!”
Vin and Xin are arguing over a flower.
“Here, you can use mine.”
I gave Vin the flower that I’m holding, he gladly accepted it and continued making a flower crown.
We’re now here in the backyard of their house, because there are a lot of flowers around this area and thankfully we were allowed to pick whatever we wanted.
We’ve decided to make a flower crown for fun.
“I didn’t know that you could do something like this using a flower!” Freya said.
She’s doing great making a flower crown, so far, I noticed that Freya is smart.
She caught up to the things around her easily and she can decide for her own, not like the other girls her age.
“Freya, how old are you?”
”I’m 15.”
She answered me while still doing her flower crown.
She’s only 15?
She’s quite mature for her age, to be honest.
She acts like a seventeen year old girl although she tends to have these colorful hair clips around her head and she’s always in a ponytail.
If you observe her inside the house, she’s a reliable sister to her two brothers.
Her cheerful personality makes her look like she’s a child but her mature side makes her look like a girl that’s becoming an adult.
Come to think of it, when I was still the same age as her, I would often make trouble because some of my classmates were bullying me and I would fight back.
When a family day would come and my mother wouldn’t be up here I would get teased by my classmates and of course, because I am young at heart, I would be mad at them and sometimes punch them in their faces when I couldn’t take their bullying anymore.
I don’t remember a time where my mother would come to see me and smile at me while I’m still at school.
Sometimes my classmates and their mom would walk past me, at that time, my classmate would tease me a lot.
There’s a time where I’m too tired to fight back so I’d just go home and cry.
I’m really proud of those people who’s brave enough everyday.
“Why’d you ask?”
”Nothing, how’s your crown?”
”Look!”
She showed me what she’s doing, it’s beautiful.
“Wow!
It’s so beautiful, Freya, you did great!”
She’s so happy that I complimented her work, the same as the twins.
So this is how it feels like to have younger siblings that you can play with.
Who would have thought that I would get to experience this kind of life in another world far away from my home?
I’ve always dreamed of having this kind of relationship and this kind of happiness but it didn’t happen before.
“But what are you doing?”
Vin asked me.
The other two looked at me curiously so I showed them what I was doing.
“It’s also a flower crown.”
”But what are these?” Full of curiosity, Xin asked me while he was holding a bunch of flowers.
I am happy that they are enjoying but just how many flowers did we already waste?
I think I should help in watering these flowers next time in exchange for allowing us to pick some.
“These are locks, so the flowers won’t fall off.”
I showed them how I used a soft part of the stem to create a lock for the flower crown.
Their faces look amaze, what a funny reaction.
It’s really easy to please them.
I feel like they would be happy or whatever I do.
“But why do yours look amazing while ours doesn’t?” Xin said while pouting.
What does he mean?
I observe my flower crown, it’s just average looking.
Oh!
“Are you talking about the color combinations?”
I explained to them what color combination is and gave them an example on how to combine colors.
Although they are confused at first they eventually get it after I show them different examples.
I just realized that I should watch my words because someone might be suspicious of me as I’m always saying words that they can’t understand.
Right.
I need to keep in mind that everyone here is dangerous, and everyone here has the ability to end my life in just a minute if I don’t watch what I am doing.
Later on, I helped them to create a flower crown while combining the colors so every flower will suit each other.
There are times where they would fight with each other because of the colors that they want, but when I tell them that it would not look good on them because it also depends on their facial features, they will trust me and stop fighting.
“Woah…”
”It looks completely different from before!” The twins can’t help themselves to jump because of happiness.
Wild Freya has been staring at her work non-stop and sometimes clapping her hands in excitement.
“That’s right, because color combinations are important also.”
”You’re really great!” The twins hugged me.
“Nah!
I just know how to combine colors.” It’s no big deal.
“No, you’re really great!
You’re so smart sister Raia!” The twins said.
Aw…
It’s such a warm feeling to have been complemented by the kids.
“Well, thank you…” It’s kind of awkward to receive compliments as I’m not used to it but they’re so cute to just avoid it.
I taught them some more about the colors and the things they need to remember to have a perfect combination.
Xin seems like he’s really enjoying what we’re doing, he caught up faster than I thought.
