“Jasiel, wake up, Jasiel!”

Betty Brant stood beside the desk, her expression tense and helpless as she looked at Jasiel, now the editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle.

She still could not believe what J.Full novel: An Anomaly Between Marvel and Dc — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jonah Jameson had done.

Handing over everything he built to his own grandson, a college dropout with a reputation for doing nothing useful.

It made no sense.

“Hmm?”

Jasiel slowly opened his eyes, wiped the drool from the desk, and looked up at the blonde, blue-eyed secretary in front of him.

For a moment, he could not tell if he was awake or still dreaming.

“Jasiel, this is tomorrow’s front page for the Daily Bugle.

I need your confirmation and signature.”

Betty placed the document in front of him.

Jasiel took it without thinking, signed it, and handed it back.

She turned and walked away, her posture confident as always.

As he watched her leave, fragments of unfamiliar memories surfaced in his mind.

His eyes widened.

He clearly remembered the name on the document.

Jasiel.

“Wait, that is not right.

That is not my name…

Jasiel?

My English was barely average.

How am I reading and understanding all this?”

His body suddenly stiffened.

The contents of the front page he had just signed appeared clearly in his mind.

Every word.

Eidetic memory.

Instead of excitement, Jasiel slumped back into his chair, running a hand through his hair in disbelief.

Tony Stark.

Daily Bugle.

That was enough.

He had transmigrated into the Marvel Universe.

Jasiel let out a slow breath, the realization settling in.

This kind of situation only meant one thing.

A system.

And sure enough, it appeared.

“DC Template?”

As the thought formed, the world around him froze.

In an instant, he found himself in a strange space that resembled a laboratory.

Around him stood multiple armored suits, each sealed behind a layer of transparent light.

Batman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Cyborg, The Atom, Wonder Woman.

Each one stood silently, waiting.

Jasiel stepped forward and tried to touch one, but the barrier blocked him completely.

A line of text appeared.

Unlock method: Increase hero fan points.

More information flooded his mind, forcing him to pause as he processed it.

“So that is how it works.”

These armors were his.

To unlock them, he needed fan points linked to each hero.

Once unlocked, he would gain all the abilities of that hero.

That meant he could become Batman.

Or Green Lantern.

Even Superman.

His pulse quickened.

Memories of this body surfaced naturally.

His father was John Jameson, an astronaut.

His grandfather, J.

Jonah Jameson, was a powerful figure in New York and the owner of the Daily Bugle.

The company was worth billions of dollars.

And now, it was his.

Jonah had grown tired and decided to step back, leaving the newspaper in Jasiel’s hands.

No one dared question the decision.

The Bugle was a family business, and there was no one closer than his own grandson.

Certainly not John, who spent most of his time in space.

Jasiel focused again.

A system prompt appeared.

The system will randomly select a primary hero template.

The armors around him began to shift rapidly, one after another flashing before his eyes until everything stopped.

A dark figure stood before him.

A black suit.

A flowing cape.

Pointed ears.

“Batman.”

Jasiel smiled.

In a world like Marvel, Superman would have been the safest choice.

But if he could not get Superman, then Batman was just as valuable.

In fact, Batman had always been his favorite.

Another prompt followed.

Since the primary hero template is Batman, a beginner reward is granted.

A discount card has been applied.

The Batman template, originally priced at 50 million fan points, is now 9.98 million.

The armor in front of him lit up.

More versions appeared.

Different suits, each more advanced than the last.

Among them were powerful variations tied to darker versions of Batman.

The Red Death, The Dawnbreaker, The Merciless, The Murder Machine, The Batman Who Laughs.

Jasiel stared in disbelief.

Any trace of disappointment vanished.

If he could unlock these, he would be unstoppable.

Time resumed.

The system space faded, and the real world returned.

A warm breeze drifted in through the open window.

Jasiel leaned back in his chair, a slow smile forming.

The confusion from earlier was gone.

In its place was excitement.

Fan points determined popularity.

The more people believed in these heroes, the more power he could access.

Justice points were different.

They came from real actions, stopping crime, doing good, changing the world.

The cheapest advanced armor required millions of justice points.

The strongest required over a hundred million.

“This is not going to be easy.”

Jasiel tapped the desk lightly, thinking it through.

The system wanted something specific.

It wanted him to spread the influence of DC heroes in the Marvel Universe.

Not through tricks or manipulation, but by action.

By becoming a symbol.

By replacing existing heroes through real achievements.

Jasiel let out a quiet laugh.

“Interesting.”
