She laid down beside me, her breathing soft and steady.
Without saying a word, she hugged me tightly — like she was afraid I’d disappear again.
I smiled, brushing away a strand of hair that had fallen over her face.
She looked peaceful.
Too peaceful.
“I love you, my Jasper Jean,” I whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before closing my eyes and falling asleep beside her.
Jay-Jay’s Pov
I woke up to loud cheers, giggles, and camera clicks echoing around the room.
For a second, I thought I was dreaming — until I realized where I was.
I blinked a few times.
My vision was still blurry, but I could definitely hear familiar voices.
When my eyes finally focused, I froze.
I was still beside Keifer.
And yep — he was hugging me.
