Careful not to disturb Vaggie’s slumber, Charlie eased open the suite’s large door, slipped back into their room, and quietly made her way to the bathroom that was thankfully just off to the right of the main doors.

The first thing she did was sit on the toilet and let out a long sigh of relief, along with a soft chuckle, as she remembered that first morning on Earth and rediscovering the need to pee.

So, demons urinate, she had thought at the time.Full novel: Angels’ Demon Book 2 – Found Family — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Shaking her head at the memory, she recalled how things came back to her little by little as even obvious things were unfamiliar at the time.

Basic needs like using the bathroom, figuring out the TV, and showering came back to her quickly.

Oh, and how the showers had been so, so good to her.

And then there was food.

The moment Kevin had said the word, her stomach had fallen through the floor, and she couldn’t believe such a basic need had been all but forgotten.

The adrenaline of the night before, discovering she was a demon, and scaring those wicked men had been such a rush, though.

Oh, that was a night she knew now she’d never forget.

Again.

And Kevin?

He’d been so patient with her, helping her find her figurative footing and putting his trust and faith in her from the beginning, that she realized later on she’d started to fall in love with him from that very first night.

And then she’d been taken from him.

Shivering at the memory, a fresh tear tickled her cheek, but she countered it with a quivering smile now that she had her Kevin back.

With a sniff, she stood, flushed, and went to the sink to wash her hands and looked in the mirror.

Ugh!

She thought.

Her make-up was a terrible mess.

Mascara had streaked down her porcelain face from crying so much the night before that the black streaks smeared across her face like a bad Rorschach image.

Why hadn’t Vaggie or Kevin told her?

She had planned to skip her usual primping for bed, but this disaster of a face just wouldn’t do.

Reaching into a drawer below her sink area, she grabbed a washcloth and ran it under the hot water for a half-minute, then began dragging it across her cheeks.

Thankfully, it didn’t take long to clean up her features and bring out her natural beauty.

Vanity was not something she cared about, but she definitely loved keeping herself tidy and sexy for her girlfriend, and now for her boyfriend, too.

More so, being free of her caked-on face, she felt so much more relaxed.

Quickly brushing her teeth, she licked her tongue across her canines, gave herself a wink for a job well done, and stepped back a bit to give herself a once-over.

Right!

One last touch was needed, however.

Grabbing her favorite brush—a solid brimstone handle that had been painted in rainbow swirls—she worked the worst tangles out of her hair as quickly as she could.

A jaw-cracking yawn made her put the brush down with some of her hair still a wild mess, and she smacked her lips.

With her exhaustion feeling like an almost uncomfortable weighted blanket upon her shoulders, she closed her eyes, pulled forth her power, and her wrinkled business suit faded off her body, leaving her naked—save for her amulet—for a split moment before her favorite nightgown shimmered into place.

Turning off the light before opening the bathroom door so as not to let the light cast into the main room, she tiptoed as quietly as she could to the bed, pausing for a moment to admire her girlfriend snuggled under the blankets, fast asleep.

Pulling back the red & black quilt cover, she eased in and slid deeper into the double king-sized bed so she could snuggle close to Vaggie, whose soft rhythmic snoring assured her that she’d been quiet enough.

With a light sigh and a soft whisper of a smile on her face, she nestled her head into the large down pillow.

The stress of the last month with rebuilding both the hotel and her relationship with Vaggie had taken so much out of her.

Vaggie’s suggestion still mystified her, and while she was eager and tentative to discuss it with her in the morning, the realization that Kevin was home with her now warmed her soul.

The brief moment in the elevator with him held many promises she was eager to explore, and her body was still flush with the sensory memory of Kevin’s hands all over her.

However, exhaustion was triumphing over her, so she mushed her head deeper into the pillow and—finding solace in its protective embrace—closed her eyes and melted into the warmth of oncoming sleep.

Her eyes widened a moment later as she felt a small, silky, soft hand slip around her and cup her right breast, giving it a loving squeeze.

Warm air tickled the back of her neck, and Charlie couldn’t help but squirm under her lover’s touch as she felt Vaggie’s lips brush the tip of her ear, and a light voice carried playful words: “I wondered if you would be coming to our bed tonight, babe.”

Tensing up at the comment, though Vaggie’s words were light and teasing, Charlie still felt a deep crimson blush sear into her candy-apple cheeks, turning her usual creamy white face a vivid pink.

She nervously licked her lips.

“Why would you think otherwise, Vaggie?”

Responding with a soft chuckle, Vaggie shifted her body, pushing the covers back and settling on her knees.

The weight of her body created a slight dent in the mattress, and Charlie slid a little until her back met with Vaggie’s thighs.

She turned her head to see Vaggie smiling gently.

“When Kevin lifted me off the couch, it woke me up, but I kinda wanted to be carried to bed, so I kept my eyes closed.

I heard everything you two said.

I may be a bad liar, but I can pretend to sleep with the best of them.” Her gaze narrowed into bedroom eyes as she glanced lovingly at Charlie’s supple body.

“However, I almost lost it when I felt him kiss me.”

Suddenly, Charlie bolted up, her face chastened.

“Oh!

Vaggie!

I’m sorry!

I should have made sure you’d be okay with—!”

“Shhh.” Pressing her pointer finger against Charlie’s lips, stopping her mid-sentence, Vaggie continued.

“I’m not upset.

It was very sweet, and I did sort of ask for it, considering my offer.” Her cheeks flushed with the admission.

“But the way he swooped me up and carried me to bed for you?

Very chivalrous.

Everything you’ve told me, I see in him, and he has a way about him that makes me feel really comfortable.

Also, he is so adorable when he hesitates.”

Charlie’s shoulders eased with relief, and her nose crinkled as she nodded in agreement.

“It is.

Frustrating, too.”

“Oh?” Leaning in, her curiosity piqued, Vaggie asked, “What do you mean?”

Face flushing yet again, as if it had ever had a chance to cool down, Charlie stammered.

“Uh, I mean, he… I mean.”

Vaggie let Charlie off the hook with a kiss that was deep, meaningful, sensual, and held promises of pleasures yet to be shared.

The kiss didn’t break as Vaggie pushed her onto her back and mounted her.

Draping her lithe, petite form over her taller, stronger lover’s body, Vaggie continued to press against Charlie’s lips, occasionally sucking her demon girlfriend’s tongue with her lips when it fluttered out, and she felt Charlie return the favor in kind.

When one or the other thought they might pass out from lack of oxygen, they’d break from each other and run their lips in turn down the other’s neck, or nibble on inviting earlobes, the chain of Charlie’s amulet cool against Vaggie’s cheek as she dipped lower.

Finally, feeling sated enough, Vaggie lay her head between Charlie’s breasts and snuggled them like a soft pillow, and she let out a relaxed hum.

Seeing the mess of Vaggie’s hair draped over her chest, she smiled.

But then she remembered her earlier question that hadn’t been answered yet.

“Vaggie?”

“Yes, my love?” The mop of hair stirred.

With concern thick in her voice, Charlie repeated, “Why did you wonder if I’d come to bed tonight?”

Dragging her fingers through her hair to shift the strands away, Vaggie gazed up at Charlie’s eyes, which were staring down at her with concern.

“I watched you both leave, and I knew you’d be showing Kevin to his new room.

I imagined you might take advantage of the time alone.”

Now, she saw magic happen.

Charlie’s face changed color until it was a dark crimson shade, and she swore steam rose off her cheeks.

Her power emerged with a powerful blush of embarrassment, confirming Vaggie’s thoughts, and she scanned her lover’s face, taking in her demonic features.

Her canines were sharp, her ears were pointed, and a hint of her red horns pierced the top of her forehead.

This was the same sort of energy Charlie expressed when her arousal went beyond mere lovemaking, and they explored more intense BDSM.

But even when they did, no matter how long they’d been together and how dominant Charlie could be, she always blushed, she always giggled nervously, and she always wore her emotions outward for all to see.

“I knew it.” Vaggie teased, which only further exasperated Charlie’s physical change.

In moments, Vaggie, the fallen angel, lay upon the full demon form of the Princess of Hell.

Her pussy began to drip along Charlie’s pajama legging, her body throbbing with need.

She pushed up a bit to look into Charlie’s crimson eyes and made very sure her next question came across as she meant for it: sincere, honest curiosity and no jealousy.

She did not want Charlie to second-guess this new dynamic, and she wanted her girlfriend to truly believe in her offer of a shared, hinge-like relationship.

With a sly grin, she whispered throatily, “Did you two fuck in the elevator?”

“No!” Charlie’s blush was full, but her eyes looked deep into Vaggie’s and expressed only truth from her dark, wet lips.

“But I wanted to, Vaggie.

I really did.”

“You held back because of me.” Pouting playfully, Vaggie continued.

“Since you mentioned on the way up here that you don’t know what I want or how it’ll work, you’ve respected me by waiting.”

“Of course!” Charlie’s demon form melted away, and her expression became contrite.

Feeling regret for not seizing the moment, Vaggie attempted to salvage it.

“When I said I could share you with Kevin, I meant it.

If you had not come back to bed tonight, I would not have been angry.

I opened the door, and I would have been a bitch if I suddenly closed it on you.”

“Kevin and I agreed to wait until we could all talk and work out what it is you want from this.

I’ve never shared before, Vaggie, and until Kevin, I didn’t think I ever could.

I feel so selfish, and I’m scared.”

“That I’ll get jealous?

Or, Kevin will?”

“Yes.” Charlie answered both questions the same: “We’re in a euphoric moment.

The emotions of telling the story and your reaction to it.

You made this offer when we were hurting.

We don’t understand it.

Or you, or this.

What if it comes crashing down on us?”

Considering her lover’s words and understanding the princess’s fears, Vaggie shrugged, “I do admit I made the offer with my own emotions riding high, Charlie.

But I think… I really do believe if it had been a week later, I’d have made the same offer.” She shifted her body away from Charlie and sat in Indian style, facing her.

She waited for Charlie to reciprocate, then continued, “You and I share something special, even though we didn’t know it before tonight.

You found me injured and nursed me back to health.

I fell in love with you while you helped me grow strong again.

In much the same way, Kevin found you injured and helped you find yourself, and you two fell in love.

If you had never regained your memories, you’d be on Earth right now, probably married.

Maybe even a mother.”

Blushing again, Charlie only nodded.

She didn’t feel confident enough to speak, so she let Vaggie continue.

“I have you because you returned to Hell and forgot him.” Her smile faltered with those words.

“And when I listened to your tale, I saw myself losing you again.

This past month, during the rebuild, you made sure I understood that I was your choice and that our relationship would not change because of Kevin.” Regaining strength in her smile, she cupped Charlie’s trembling cheek.

“But while you promised me that, my own heart was changing.

In a way, I began to love Kevin through you.”

Amused by Charlie’s expression, she shook her head.

“Again, not sexually.

I don’t think I could ever lie with a man that way.” She paused, allowing her eye to roll towards the bed canopy, and her next words drifted through her mind: I don’t think… Shaking her head, she turned back to Charlie.

“But I’m fond of him, Charlie, and I want to see what power we gain from this.”

“You offered this, Vaggie; the rules are yours to make.” Her composure was flip-flopping from emotional to practical to horny to confused.

Her own thoughts were like a freshly opened puzzle box, the pieces strewn on the table, ready to be shaped into their new story.

She needed her girlfriend to create the frame before she could start on the picture.

“Sexually, you are insatiable, my love.

I’m not worried about you having enough energy to love both of us fully.” Smirking, she continued, “The only thing is to balance out who’s getting your attention at any time.”

Nodding, Charlie waited.

Vaggie continued, “So, for a while, we alternate nights and who gets to sleep with you; and during the day—” She paused and smiled wickedly, “I know I’m going to have fun; I need to instill in Kevin’s mind that we are all close, and he needs to stop hesitating.

You’re boyfriend and girlfriend again, and I don’t want his eyes asking me permission every time you and I are close, or vice versa.”

“What about my eyes?” Charlie’s expression turned serious.

“This is so new, but you seem so casual about it.

How?

Why?”

“I’m not being casual about this, Charlie.” Firmly, Vaggie replied, “There’s nothing casual about sharing you with another person.”

Charlie’s voice had lost the blush and the sensual side, and there was genuine confusion now.

“I’m sorry, Vaggie, I didn’t mean it that way.

But you said the three of us together might have a power?

What did you mean?”

“I’m not sure I can put it into words, babe.

It’s just a feeling I have.

I told Kevin to help convince him to say yes, and I really don’t know what will happen with two fallen angels and the Princess of Hell sharing a bed or how it could affect our overall powers.

But I do know I want to find out.

If it gives us a bigger advantage over anything Heaven has planned or any overlord who wants to challenge us, I welcome the extra power to protect you.

But believe me, babe, this is mostly about love.

We both love you, and you love us both.

I had a month to see who Kevin is and a night of listening to your tale.

This is genuine and definitely not casual.

Please, for my sake, love Kevin as you love me.

You deserve it.”

Silence filled the space.

Giving her a few moments to process, and when it seemed like Charlie wouldn’t speak, the fallen angel repeated words from earlier: “This is where you say yes.”

The blush from earlier returned, along with her demonic features, and Charlie pounced on Vaggie, knocking her on her back amongst the strewn covers.

Roughly pulling down Vaggie’s nightgown, Charlie clamped her lips over Vaggie’s breast.

The fallen angel gasped loudly, both in surprise and pleasure, as electrical currents swam through her veins, elicited by Charlie’s tongue, flicking her quickly swelling nipple.

In a moment, she lifted her lips away, and her eyes were golden.

“Yes.

Oh, God yes, Vaggie.

I promise to love Kevin unconditionally.

Just as I love you.

Really, really love you!”

“I love you so much, Charlie.” And for the first time, tears broke from the corner of Vaggie’s eye.

Charlie’s body tensed.

“Vaggie?”

Sniffing and giggling at the same time, wiping her eyes, Vaggie replied, “This is just me finally letting my walls down, Hun.” She slipped her hands down to grasp Charlie’s shoulders and guide her up until they were face-to-face.

“My princess is whole again and loves me without limits, but I admit I was scared.

You’d given me a chance to explain my past, and I could do no less for you, but I had to put up a hell of a wall to get through this past month until you two could share your story.

That wall is crumbling, and I know it’s up to me to go talk to Kevin in the morning and tell him all of this so he can let his walls break, too.”

“I want all the walls down, Vaggie.” Charlie’s voice was absolute: “I want nothing to stand in our way so we can love each other without hesitation, and I want that to start right now!” Her lustful eyes peered over Vaggie’s body, driving home the meaning of her words.

Squirming excitedly from her lover’s gaze, Vaggie smiled.

“Then fuck me.

Now, Charlie.

You held off once; tonight, don’t hold off anymore.”

Grinning, Charlie replied, “Mmm, as my angel commands—” She stopped, her cheeks glowing crimson in embarrassment.

“I’m sorry, Vaggie, I meant…”

Bursting out laughing, Vaggie replied, “No, it’s okay!

I guess we are both your angels now, aren’t we?

But, tonight, you’re mine, and tomorrow?” She stopped; she wanted Charlie to say it, to acknowledge it, and to accept it.

Sniffing, Charlie replied, “Tomorrow.

I get my knight back.”

Pressing forward, Vaggie kissed Charlie hard and, when she broke the kiss, offered her a loving smile.

“And you’ll have to tell me alllllll about it.”

“Oh, my!” Charlie’s eyes glazed over, and the lovers fell into the quilt, giggling, kissing, and moaning, and it wasn’t long before they were screaming in endless pleasure, any thought of sleep forgotten.
