Although there was no concrete sign, everyone present sensed that the Main God had lifted its protection.

“I want to go back!

Let me go back right now!”

Suddenly, a short, plain-looking girl began screaming in panic.

As she shouted, she ran toward the door.

“I don’t believe any of this!

You’re all actors hired by the TV station, aren’t you?!”

“Hey, Ikuko?!

What are you doing?”

A ponytailed girl looked at her friend, who had suddenly started shouting as if she had gone mad.

Worried, she called out and chased after her, grabbing her hand.

“Midori, you believe their lies too?

This has to be a prank… These people even deliberately brought out real guns.

Hmph, they really went all out to fool us!”

As she spoke, the girl named Ikuko revealed a disdainful sneer.

She violently shook off her friend Midori’s hand and continued rushing forward.

“…”

Yuto watched all of this coldly from the side.

Sometimes, under immense pressure, people were prone to losing control.

The girl before him was exactly like that.

The moment the girl thought about not seeing her parents for a month and having to face a cruel apocalypse all alone, the girl named Ikuko seemed to instinctively choose escape, convincing herself that this was nothing more than a boring prank.

“Calm down, Ikuko!”

“Idiot, no way!

Midori, you’re the one who’s stupid enough to get tricked without even realizing it!”

The two of them struggled and pulled at each other for a while.

In the end, Ikuko still broke free from her friend’s hand.

She quickly arrived in front of the door, her face full of confidence as she tried to pry apart the desks and chairs piled beside it and escape.

Whether this was a prank or some hidden-camera show…

She truly did not want to stay in this place anymore.

Suddenly, from outside the door, a loud bang rang out without warning.

Everyone’s bodies jolted violently, frightened by the sudden noise.

“What the hell?

So there are people outside?”

“How strange… Could this really be a prank?”

Bang!

Another violent impact sounded.

It was as if someone outside the door was pounding hard against the classroom door.

Immediately afterward, a dense series of impacts began ringing out nonstop.

“What exactly is going on…?”

“Who the hell is knocking on the door like that?!”

Just as everyone was feeling utterly confused, Ikuko suddenly shouted excitedly, “I know!

It must be the production crew!

They can’t keep pretending anymore!”

“Hahahaha, I told you!

This is nothing more than a boring prank, but none of you believed me!”

Bang!

The impact sounded again.

The enormous force actually caused cracks to spread along the wall near the doorframe.

A gap appeared, just barely wide enough for someone to squeeze through.

Ikuko was overjoyed.

She hurried forward and reached her hand outside.

“Hey, hurry up and let me out!”

In the next instant, she suddenly let out a hysterical scream!

The girl desperately tried to pull her hand back like a madwoman, but something outside the door seemed to be forcefully dragging her.

It clamped tightly onto her hand and refused to let go.

As a result, Ikuko’s entire body was pressed tightly against the gap in the door, unable to move.

“Ikuko?”

Midori looked at Ikuko, who had suddenly started screaming and thrashing, with a face full of confusion.

She was completely at a loss.

“Midori!

Hurry and pull me in… It hurts, it hurts so much!”

“They’re eating my hand… Save me!

Hurry and save me!”

Seeing this, Midori instantly panicked as well.

She hurriedly grabbed her friend’s other outstretched hand.

The two of them pulled together with all their strength.

Unexpectedly, they actually dragged the ‘thing’ outside the door as well.

A nauseating stench instantly spread through the room.

A pair of rotten hands were tightly gripping Ikuko’s forearm.

A gray head also squeezed its way in.

The head looked as though it had been splashed with sulfuric acid, its appearance grotesque and hideous beyond description.

Inside its exposed mouth, there was no skin or flesh connecting anything together, only uneven canine teeth.

Rip—

A crisp tearing sound rang out.

A large chunk of flesh, tendons still attached, was forcibly ripped off.

A bright red column of blood instantly sprayed out.

It splattered across Midori’s stunned face beside her.

“Gulp… ggh…”

The zombie’s lipless mouth chewed madly.

Minced flesh mixed with blood spilled from the corners of its mouth.

It continuously dripped down along its chin, spreading into a dark red bloodstain on the floor.

Even more terrifying was its throat.

The skin and windpipe there had long since disappeared, leaving only a hollow, rotten hole.

When the chewed-up meat was swallowed, half of it leaked out from the hole, like a pattering rain of blood.

“Let go!

Let go of me!”

Ikuko desperately shook her arm.

Her fingernails dug into the zombie’s rotten flesh, but all she managed to claw off was a handful of mud-like tissue.

Instead, she was gripped even tighter.

The white bones of her forearm were already exposed, and blood flowed down through the gaps between them.

Every time the zombie bit her, her entire body convulsed violently.

Her voice gradually changed from heart-rending screams into leaking, wheezing sobs.

Only Ikuko’s screams remained in the classroom.

As for Midori, she had long since frozen in place from terror, her mind blank.

Because she did not have nearly enough strength in her hands, she was unable to drag her friend back.

“Save me… Please save me…!”

Ikuko cried and struggled.

Tears flowed uncontrollably down her face.

Her heart was filled with nothing but regret and fear.

“Ahhhhhhh!”

Faced with such a horrifying scene, everyone finally reacted.

The girls collectively let out piercing screams.

The boys near the door were even worse.

One by one, they trembled all over in fear, their legs going weak.

Thud!

With a terrified expression, Itou Makoto fell to the floor and kept retreating until his back hit the wall.

Panic, terror, screams, and helplessness became the scene’s perfect description.

Everyone desperately squeezed backward, one after another.

They were afraid that they too would be grabbed by the zombies.

Bang, bang!!

Because no one was stopping it anymore, the gap at the door grew wider and wider.

Yuto could even see several more zombies appearing one after another behind it.

The classroom door was being knocked increasingly out of shape.

There was not just one zombie squeezing in through the gap.

The one that had bitten Ikuko earlier was still tightly clutching the girl’s severed arm, while behind it, two more rotten, stinking heads squeezed forward, letting out spine-chilling roars.

Yuto swiftly drew the Colt Python.

The index finger of his right hand rested steadily on the trigger.

His gaze was as cold as ice.

It swept past the panicked crowd and locked directly onto the zombie closest to the door gap.

That zombie was lowering its head and gnawing on Ikuko’s severed arm.

Its dark gray head swayed slightly, revealing the rotten opening at the top of its skull.
