“The feeling of adding points really is amazing!”

“Although saying this makes me sound like less than human, I sincerely hope the other versions of me in other worlds hurry up and die, then quickly turn into my points!”

After finishing his enhancement, Hayashi Makoto did not leave the Shared Transmigration Space.Full novel: Anime: From My Death, I Ascend! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He stood in front of the first grave and stared at the photo on the tombstone.

More precisely, he stared at the grinning, punk-haired version of himself in that photo.

The Makoto from the Jumper world was the child of a white man and a foreign woman.

He had a very classic American name, but that did not matter.

What mattered was that his starting point had been terrible.

A mother who ran off with the money.

An alcoholic and violent father.

The BGM engraved into his childhood was the endless shouting of neighbors, the roaring engines of modified cars tearing through the streets, and police sirens echoing everywhere.

A very typical lower-class American life.

From the time he became aware of the world, he had endured poverty at home, violence from his father, cold looks from the community, and rejection from people his own age.

He had once tried going to other place for help.

But the fact that his mother was a foreigner did not win him any sympathy.

Around the age of ten, after being unable to endure his father’s drunken violence any longer, the young Makoto exploded emotionally and awakened his [Mind Teleporter] ability.

He teleported somewhere else.

From that day on, he began stealing without restraint.

He stole from supermarkets.

He stole from rich neighborhoods.

He stole from banks.

Because of that, he began living a life of reckless luxury and wild spending.

Later, from another Mind Teleporter, he gradually learned that his ability came from bloodline inheritance.

However, it did not awaken in every generation.

At the same time, he also learned that since the Middle Ages, there had been a religious organization called the Paladins hunting Mind Teleporters.

But that arrogant Makoto did not take other people’s warnings seriously.

Without memories of his previous life, and without receiving a proper education, that Makoto was just like most of the lower-class teenagers in his community.

He did not understand reason or restraint.

He only knew how to sink into his emotions and desires.

Unsurprisingly, he was ambushed and killed by the Paladins.

“I still remember a little of the movie Jumper. A stupid male lead, a miserable supporting male character, and the Paladin leader responsible for hunting Mind Teleporters. A Black villain.”

Makoto had memories of that movie.

The memories of the other Makoto were also flowing through his mind.

The other Makoto’s last wish was this:

Take revenge, then keep living freely.

As for revenge, Makoto understood.

The enemy was a massive organization that had existed since the Middle Ages.

“Leave.”

Makoto closed his eyes and returned to the main mixed anime crossover world.

Because of his return, the black-and-white world regained its color.

The frozen flow of time also began moving again.

“Bulletproof vest, insulated suit, gas mask…”

“Submachine gun, smoke grenades, flashbangs, chemical weapons…”

Makoto took those military supplies down from the shelves and laid them out together.

He wore a bulletproof vest inside, then put on an insulated suit outside that could block up to seven thousand volts.

He also put on a gas mask.

He still remembered how the Paladins in the movie hunted Mind Teleporters.

They used some kind of crude sci-fi technology to detect the entrance created by spatial teleportation.

Then they used that same technology to widen the entrance, allowing an entire Paladin squad to teleport to the exit point.

They would appear unexpectedly in front of a Mind Teleporter and catch them off guard.

After that, they used incapacitating weapons like high-voltage tasers to subdue the target and restrict their teleportation.

Finally, they used a religious blade to stab the person to death.

It was very ceremonial.

Once everything was ready, Makoto entered the Jumper movie world.

Time in the main mixed anime world froze once again.

Meanwhile, time in the movie world began to surge forward violently.

…

“Why… Why are you killing me?”

“Because you’re a monster. A monster. Do you understand?”

Roland, a Paladin of the Paladin organization, was a middle-aged Black man with a head full of white hair.

He stared coldly at the half-foreign young man in front of him.

Looking at the young man’s punk hairstyle, which had been fried into a bird’s nest by electricity, Roland’s mouth showed visible contempt and anger.

Under the effect of a strong electric current, humans could not focus.

And for a Mind Teleporter to teleport, they had to concentrate and picture their destination in their mind.

“You can teleport anywhere…”

“Only God is worthy of such power!”

That was right.

The Paladin organization had been hunting these “monsters” who could teleport since the Middle Ages.

It was not entirely because they stole wealth.

It was also because the Paladins believed these monsters were heretics who blasphemed the divine power of God.

“God.”

Roland raised the blade in his hand and stabbed it fiercely into the young man’s heart.

As if that still was not enough, he twisted the handle.

His bloodshot eyes opened wide, and a brutal, intoxicated smile spread across his dark face.

The young man’s body twitched violently for a while.

His pupils slowly dilated, and gradually, he stopped moving.

Roland pulled out the knife and slowly inhaled.

“One more pest gone.”

He turned his head and ordered his subordinates, “We’re done. Clean up and leave this damn place as soon as possible.”

“Paladin!”

The Paladins who were cleaning up the equipment looked toward him and cried out in shock, calling Roland by his position in the organization.

Every one of them looked stunned.

Every one of them looked afraid.

It was as if they had seen something impossible.

“Who?!”

Roland suddenly turned his head.

The young man’s corpse had already disappeared.

In its place stood a person wearing an insulated suit.

An insulated suit…?

Not good!

In the next second, his vision blurred.

The figure vanished.

Immediately afterward, a flashbang fell to the ground.

The intense flash stabbed into the Paladins’ eyes.

They covered their eyes one after another, screaming and cursing.

And in that brief moment of blindness, cold gunshots rang through the space.

It was a PPSh.

Usually, when firing this kind of submachine gun in bursts, people would tuck it under their arm, press their arm against the gun, aim, and adjust the muzzle as they fired.

After all, the recoil of this submachine gun was extremely strong during automatic fire.

But at this moment, the hand holding the gun had its arm fully extended.

It fired continuously.

With each shot, the recoil naturally adjusted the path of the next bullet, aiming it at another target.

The gunfire ended.

The smell of gunpowder filled the air.

Almost every member of the Paladin squad had fallen.

With the brutal skills of a modified assassin from another world, Makoto had taken only one and a half seconds to slaughter more than a dozen trained professionals.

Then he pressed the scorching muzzle against Roland’s forehead.

Makoto took off his gas mask.

His tone was relaxed.

“Did your God ever tell you that I can actually come back to life?”

“How did you… Impossible…”

Roland’s dark face was filled with intense disbelief.

“How can a person come back to life? And that insulated suit… and the gun… Where did they come from?”

“You said it yourself, didn’t you?”

Makoto smiled.

“I’m a monster.”

“…Heretic!”

The middle-aged Black man’s face twisted like a ghost.

He no longer cared about the gun pressed against his forehead.

He only trembled and kept muttering the word heretic, his eyes shining with hatred as he glared at Makoto.

“You’re jealous, aren’t you?”

“What?!”

“You’re jealous of me. Jealous of those who possess the power of Mind Teleportation.”

Makoto’s smile deepened.

“What an interesting holy man. You hate heretics on the outside, but deep down, you envy their power.”

“I… I do not!”

“It doesn’t matter.”

Makoto’s slender finger rested on the trigger.

“Take your questions and your jealousy with you…”

He pulled the trigger.

“And go meet God!”
