He laughed awkwardly and tried to bluff his way through with a playful smile.

Demeter was a goddess.

“Forget me—even if every god in Orario joined forces, they couldn’t protect you!”
“Loki may usually act careless and irresponsible, but when she becomes serious, even Freya has to give way!”
Genichi drew his neck in, startled by Demeter’s extreme reaction.

Genichi tried to soothe her.
