Chapter 12: Amaya Kaida, Saga, or Taki Tsuki?

“Another Summoner?”

The morning sun filtered through the grand windows of the duchy, casting a warm amber glow over the marriage bed. Beside me, my new wife—a brilliant Time Mage—stirred. As her eyes fluttered open, a deep crimson blush crept up her neck. Memory returned to her in a rush: the quiet, stolen moments of the early morning while the rest of the room still slept, the fierce necessity of silence, and the overwhelming wave of her first genuine release.

Moving with deliberate, agonized slowness, she disentangled herself from me. Her gaze flicked to the foot of the bed, where my newest summons lay curled up asleep. Three other people shared this massive bed, and waking any of them would mean a deluge of awkward questions. Gathering her mana, she cast a silent Blink Teleport, vanishing from the room in a microscopic hum of displaced air.

Left in the quiet of the room, I began to drift awake, only to feel a familiar sensation. The blue silk sheets rustled as a figure slid down my chest. I smiled internally, assuming it was Shade. Sylvia was always an early riser, and the empty space on my right confirmed she had already left to attend to her noble duties.

Deciding to play along, I kept my eyes closed and my breathing steady. The figure shifted under the sheets, mounting me in a reverse-cowgirl position, her back to my face. I desperately wanted to reach out, to wrap my hands around her waist and guide her, but I hesitated. If she realized I was awake, her sudden boldness would evaporate, and she would revert to the painfully shy maiden I had encountered the night before.

But as the seconds ticked by, her movements grew more aggressive, her hips rotating with a fluid, mesmerizing rhythm that made it impossible to play dead. Sliding my hands beneath the heavy silk to trace the line of her spine, the truth hit me like a physical blow.

Through our telepathic Summoner link, a wave of distinct emotions flooded my consciousness: absolute thrill at getting caught, pure mischief, and an intense, radiating pleasure.

The skin beneath my fingertips wasn't soft in the human sense; it was impossibly elastic, carrying a slight, refreshing coolness that felt like polished marble. I had been tricked again. But as I opened my eyes, looking up at the silhouette riding me, I couldn't find it in myself to be angry.

With a swift tug, I yanked the sheets away.

She turned her head, looking back over her shoulder. Her expression—a perfect mix of smug triumph and breathless anticipation—was unforgettable.

"Ah, Master," Shehuang purred, her eyes glittering with dark amusement. "You really are the perfect fit for me. I’ve been caught. Are you going to punish your wicked summons, Master?"

I didn't answer with words. I simply smiled, gripping her hips firmly to take control of the rhythm.

With a low, satisfied hiss, Shehuang leaned into the contact. The anatomy of a Lamia was entirely different from a human's; her powerful, muscular lower body gave her incredible leverage, and the internal compression of her body felt like an invisible, rhythmic pull, urging me closer to the edge with every second.

"Shehuang," I strained, my voice thick. "I’m close."

She arched her back, her long, silky black hair brushing against my face like a dark curtain. When she spoke, the words carried a strange, heavy magic. "Husband, I am entirely yours. Do whatever you wish with me. I am right there with you, Master!"

Pulling her down flush against me, the world narrowed to the sudden, crushing intensity of her embrace as we both crossed the threshold.

For a long minute, we lay still, the heavy resonance of our shared bond thrumming with absolute satisfaction. Shehuang smirked, slowly dismounting and looking down at me with a victorious tilt of her chin.

"Husband," she said, adjusting her posture. "Not only did I share your bed last night, but we have fully consummated our bond. Tell me, what should you be calling me now? At least when we are alone?"

"Wife," I offered softly.

Leaning down, she pressed a deep, lingering kiss to my lips. When she finally pulled away, she scooped up her discarded maid clothing from the floor. "Shade should be finishing up her bath by now. I'll slip out first so I don't complicate things for you, Master. Until later."

I watched her slide out of the room, leaving a faint trail of moisture on the floorboards. A sudden wave of reality washed over me. Shit, I actually just slept with a monster girl. Is it even biologically possible to get a Lamia pregnant? What on earth would our child look like?

The heavy click of the bathroom door broke my spiral. Shade stepped out, wrapped in a plush bathrobe, using a thick white towel to dry her damp, silver-white hair. Catching sight of me lying stark naked and clearly still affected by the morning's activities, a deep crimson flushed across her cheeks.

"Not right now," she muttered quickly, looking away. "It’s broad daylight. Wait until tonight... I just finished cleaning up, alright?"

"Yeah, fair enough," I chuckled, giving her a reassuring thumbs-up as I recalled my promise to show her more affection. "I love you the most, Shade."

The tension left her shoulders, and a soft, genuine smile touched her lips.

The next two weeks dissolved into a whirlwind honeymoon phase.

Predictably, both Shade and Shehuang were banned from Sylvia’s personal quarters after that chaotic first night. Sylvia was a woman of rigid standards; she detested group dynamics and demanded absolute privacy. Consequently, I became a frantic mediator, fluttering between three separate bedrooms over the course of the week like an exhausted honeybee. The constant practice had a side effect, however—my proficiency had skyrocketed from a clumsy novice to a thoroughly seasoned amateur.

When I tentatively asked Shehuang if she intended to introduce me to the remaining two summons in her arsenal, she flatly refused. She wanted to monopolize my attention during this honeymoon window before the chaotic ties of my past lives inevitably caught up with us.

Within a week, I realized her instincts were entirely correct.

In the dark, Shade grew progressively bolder, shedding her timid exterior the moment the sun went down and the privacy of the sheets shielded her from public view. Sylvia, on the other hand, was the anchor of the household. She carried herself with a calm, regal authority, entirely focused on managing her vast duchy, carrying our child, and brutally forcing me to train my magic core during every spare hour I wasn't fulfilling my husbandly duties.

Both Sylvia and Shade undoubtedly knew what Shehuang and I were doing behind closed doors, but a silent pact of deniability hung over the estate. To be perfectly honest, the taboo nature of being with a Lamia kept me from bringing it up either.

Two weeks flew by. I had exactly a fortnight left before I was scheduled to depart for the Royal Capital. Officially, the trip was for advanced Mage training—high-tier theory that simply wasn't accessible out here in the provinces. Unofficially, the reality was far more cynical. By royal decree, every high noble and uniquely talented outlier—including my brother and myself—was required to spend two years in the capital for "assessment." In truth, it was an institutionalized brainwashing pipeline designed to ensure absolute vassal loyalty to the Balder Royal Family.

A sharp knock rattled the door frame while I was tossing survival gear into a leather pack for a final training excursion into the local forest.

"Yes?" I called out.

"Sir Sky," a maid’s voice echoed through the wood. "Your brother has arrived. He is currently waiting for you in the drawing room."

"Please inform him I’ll be down shortly," I replied. "I'm just finishing up my packing."

Beside me, Shehuang pouted, her lower serpentine body shifting uncomfortably against the rug. "I don't want you to leave, Master. But... I suppose it's finally time to introduce you to your proxy guard. She is a 7th Circle Mage; she can easily teleport you back to me if things go sideways."

I offered her a reassuring smile. "It's only for two weeks, and I don't care who knows about our contract. Bring her out."

Though Shehuang had permitted her two female summons to leave their pocket dimensions over the last fortnight, she had deliberately kept them from meeting me face-to-face. It was clear she considered them part of my future retinue, an investment she was managing on my behalf.

Extending her hand into the center of the room, Shehuang focused her mana, speaking the invocation aloud. "Come forth, Taki Tsuki.

Serve your master’s master. Call Summons!"

The air fractured with a brilliant, coppery-brown light, forming a spinning magic circle on the floorboards. As the glare faded, a kneeling silhouette materialized within the ring.

"Taki Tsuki greets Lord Lo—"

My heart slammed against my ribs like a trapped bird. Thump. Thump.

No. Not again.

The kneeling Dark Elf lifted her head to face me. Though her eyelids were pressed tightly shut, a visible tremor ran through her posture.

The physical shock of recognition passed between us like an electric current.

"Ah... Are you... Amaya Kaida?" My voice shook, thin and completely stripped of its usual confidence.

The woman before me was an eighty percent physical match for my girlfriend from Earth. Strip away the elongated, elegant elven ears, the flawless cerulean-blue skin, and the ethereal, exaggerated beauty common to high-tier summons, and it was her. The height—an imposing five-foot-ten—the exact pitch of her voice, and the precise, quiet aura she radiated were terrifyingly identical.

Shehuang froze, her eyes darting between us. Through our interconnected Summoner bonds, she could feel the instantaneous spike of raw distress and profound grief exploding from my core—an echo perfectly mirrored by a summons who had theoretically never laid eyes on me before.

Dropping my packing gear, I fell to one knee in front of the Dark Elf, my hands gripping her shoulders. She was trembling violently beneath my touch.

Then, she did the unthinkable. Taki Tsuki opened her Cursed Eyes.

There was no sclera, no pupil, and no iris. Her eyes were twin pools of solid, glowing white, reflecting my panicked, desperate face back at me.

The fear that had gripped her a moment prior seemed to melt away, replaced by a soft, melodic whisper. "Lord Loki... I cannot claim to be the woman who haunts your dreams, yet I cannot deny the truth of this face. Perhaps... perhaps that is why my heart beats so fiercely for you, my Lord?"

Those blinding, supernatural eyes were far more terrifying than the cloudy, sightless eyes of my blind girlfriend on Earth, yet the expression behind them was an undeniable ghost of the past.

"Taki, close your Cursed Eyes before the backlash sets in," Shehuang interrupted, her voice sharp with a sudden, uncharacteristic edge of jealousy. She was glad I approved of her summons, but the instant, deep intimacy between us clearly stung.

As the blinding white light vanished behind Taki's eyelids, I pulled her forward into a crushing embrace. She didn't resist, her body melting into mine.

"Concubine," Taki murmured against my shoulder, her voice steadying. "It seems the Lord possesses visions of my form from a time before. Perhaps he is a Seer of the old ways, and our threads were woven to cross? Even through the dark, my eyes could read the shape of his heart."

She had no concept of her past existence as Amaya Kaida, nor any memory of her ancient heritage as a Norse Goddess. To her, this was simply the magic of destiny.

She wore a striking black kimono adorned with deep purple embroidery, anchored by a traditional tan and purple obi. Strips of lacquered black arm-guards lined her forearms, cementing her status as a high-tier Kunoichi. Her dark hair was cropped in the exact short style

Amaya had long black hair cut like her past self, and her fingernails were painted a glossy midnight black. Strapped horizontally across her lower back was a sleek, black-lacquered Ninja-to. But it was her scent—the distinct, intoxicating fragrance of wild honeysuckles—that nearly broke my composure.

It was the exact same perfume Amaya had worn.

Realizing I was squeezing an entirely different person in a foreign world, I forced my breathing to slow. I let go of her shoulders, stepping back two paces to give her space. Blinking away the moisture gathering at the corners of my eyes, I forced a fragile smile onto my face.

"I'm sorry," I muttered, rubbing my face. "Meeting a woman I’ve dreamed about for ten long years... it was a bit sudden. Forgive me."

Shehuang watched us closely, searching for any sign of deception or prior conspiracy. Finding none, she let out a slow breath and shrugged. If I was completely infatuated with her summons, it ultimately solidified her own influence over my household.

Reaching into her dimensional space ring, Taki Tsuki retrieved a magnificent, ornately carved Longbow, presenting it to me with both hands in a gesture of absolute fealty.

"My Lord, you command the one who commands me," Taki said, her head bowed. "Therefore, my loyalty is yours. Please accept this Elven Longbow. It belonged to my father and is crafted specifically to channel the energy of an aura user. My Master has spoken at length of your legendary marksmanship. I insist you take it."

I glanced over at Shehuang, who simply nodded with a dismissive wave of her hand. "What is mine is yours, husband. Do with her as you see fit."

As my fingers closed around the smooth, ancient wood of the bow, I noticed something fascinating: beneath the cool blue of her skin, a deep purple blush was spreading across Taki's cheeks.

Before I could even register her movement, she had slipped silently behind me, dissolving into my shadow like a living specter.

"Very well, Taki Tsuki," I said, adjusting the weight of the weapon. "From this moment on, you accompany me as my personal guard. Let's move out."

Shehuang waved a small goodbye from the center of the room. With her eyes firmly shut, the Dark Elf followed a half-step behind me, a silent, lethal shadow tethered to my side.
