The day after the alliance was formed, Lu Chen decided to clear this street.

The supermarket was not an isolated island.

The zombies in the two adjacent alleys were accumulating more and more, crashing against the walls at night.Full novel: Apocalypse Enhancement — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If they didn’t hold their ground, they would eventually be exhausted.

He needed a passage that could both enter and exit.

“Zheng Street, two hundred meters.” He used his finger to gesture on the dust on the shelves, “Three entrances and exits, two facing outward.

Clear it, and at least we can go out to look for medicine.”

Su Wan checked her rifle.

“Save the bullets.

Use a knife for the nearby area, a crossbow at ten meters away.”

“You cover, I go forward.”

Shen Wanqing stood behind the observation hole, not objecting, but placing a pot of spirit water by the door.

“Drink it before we move on.”

The three of them left.

The morning fog had not dissipated, and the street surface was covered with a layer of grayish-white.

He dodged, dislocated the neck, and placed his hand on its back of the head and sent it to the corner of the freezer.

That thing became limp.

Clean and silent.

Su Wan held the gun at a distance of ten meters, her eyelids twitched.

She had seen efficient people, and she herself was one.

But the way Lu Chen moved didn’t seem like he had “practiced” – his body always moved half a beat ahead of the zombie’s direction.

At the second entrance, seven or eight zombies emerged, mixed with two runners, moving fast as if flying along the ground.

Su Wan fired, one shot for each zombie, stopping after the third shot – she didn’t want to.

She grabbed a knife and went forward, entangled with one of the runners, and her shoulder blade was scratched by the thing.

Just then, Lu Chen entered from the side, grasped the back of the runner’s neck, and threw it to the ground.

“Crack” – a crisp sound, even more crisp than yesterday.

He straightened up, still holding the zombie, as if carrying a bag of potatoes, and casually threw it, sending the corpse flying three or four meters, knocking down another one that rushed up behind it.

Su Wan stood there, forgetting to load the gun.

The briefing clearly stated: capable of overturning cars, capable of withstanding bullets.

But those were “awakened individuals”, a term in the news.

The person in front of her, yesterday had shielded her from the tyrant, and today his strength was even greater than yesterday.

“Are you getting stronger every day?” she asked.

Lu Chen brushed off the blood on his hands.

“Those who are alive should get stronger.”

The alleys were cleared.

On the other side of the fog, a tyrant was slowly turning around, facing their direction, sniffing.

It was taller than the one from the previous night, with a layer of dark red hard shell on its shoulders.

Su Wan counted the ammunition bags – not enough to shoot it in one eye.

“Back.” Lu Chen said.

“Then what about you?”

He had already walked into the fog, without looking back.

Suddenly, he wanted to try something: yesterday he overturned one, today, could he do it without using a knife?
