They were the first human and demon sacrifices to be married together under the sponsorship of the ALLIANCE, producing that legendary child... only for both parents to DIE IMMEDIATELY after, their physical and spiritual energy completely drained!
That child was considered the SOLE AND LAST HOPE for both the Human and Demon races to get rid of the absolute control and eternal tyranny of the "Race of Eternal Ones."
That wasn’t the only thing they discovered; they also realized that the mark of sacrifice didn’t vanish... meaning, in other words, MORE THAN ONE CHILD OF DESTINY could be produced.
After that incident, humans and demons realized that the real secret to increasing the chances of "Children of Destiny" appearing lay in FUSING THE TWO RACES through the rituals of marriage and sacrifice. Every single one of those children, without exception, possessed extraordinary godlike talents: terrifying physical strength, complete magical and spiritual harmony to control all natural elements, and rare, unique abilities ranging from telekinesis and mind manipulation to reading future destiny!
But the REAL NIGHTMARE begins when the contract between humans/demons and the "God of Destruction" ends. The mark of sacrifice disappears forever, taking with it any extra chance to produce more Children of Destiny in this world... And right there, deadly madness explodes!
