Soaked, chilly, and aching... the first things to respond were my toes. They wiggled about in the cold waters of damnation, pressing themselves occasionally against the muted neutral warmth of the porcelain with which they were contained. Then my arm. It raised itself from the depths, water runoff piling down and crashing into the body of water that contained the remainder of this thing which was me. This thing that felt as ancient as the origins of pain that creaked within. The arm placed itself atop the mantle of the shallow bath to support the body.
Then came my vision.
A haze and blur of beige squares surrounded me, blending in with the tone of my skin. The black skirt floated about in the waters motionless and carried about only by the new disturbances which were being introduced by my awakening. Looking down, the bra and panty combo from the night before remained, but... 'Was that hair?'
The form before had been shaven clean. This one seemed slightly bloated, hairy, yet not necessarily in an unhealthy way. What's more was the bulge present from how tightly my panties were wrapping under my thighs. I jolted to life. My hands straight to my face, still oval. I had to confirm. I had to be sure. Without even drying off, I leapt from the tub and to the bathroom mirror.
There he was in all his beautiful glory. Jasper. The true Jasper. Still rocking a fantastic contrasting setup and soaking wet, but extremely fuckable, nonetheless.
WE had done it.
WE had won.
The rumination of being a demonic sex champion overrode any sense of the shivers I was displaying. I didn't care if I was cold. I couldn't give a shit less what my body was trying to tell me.
I hadn't been dragged to Hell AND I had beaten Kabo.
*BANG BANG BANG*
"It's about fucking time you came back. I need to get in there or I'm gonna be late. I didn't want to knock, but you've been in there for hours now. Hurry the fuck up, Jasper," a familiar voice resounded through the door.
'Jackie.'
My heart lurched and my mind raced.
"S-sorry Jackie!" I exclaimed, "Can you spare a few more minutes?"
I began stripping off my drenched sports jacket. 'So much for wicking water, huh?'
"Normally I'd say, Yeah Jasper, take all the time you need man. I'm a nice guy," he continued, "but you've been in there for over three hours."
*BANG BANG BANG*
I wiggled out of my skirt and panties, crumpling them together and flung them into the nearby closet. My fingers fumbled about with the backstrap of my bra until they found the latch and pulled the fabrics together to unleash it. That too went with the apparel dumped in the closet. Completely naked now, I glanced about the room for something I could wrap myself with.
Nothing, not even a towel.
I pulled my jacket back from the counter, wrapped it around myself and tied the arms together to secure it in place. Then, I unlocked and opened the door.
Jackie stared at me. Up, then down, and back up again.
"I didn't know you were interested in joining a frat club. You should've said something." he said.
I had no idea what he was on about and all I could muster was, "Y-yeah?"
"They had some kind of initiation last night downstairs on the bottom floor. Judging by this," he gestured around to me and the interior of the bathroom, "I'm not stupid, Jasper. You obviously joined them."
"Oh, oh! Yeah. It was a crazy night, hah hah." I fake laughed, scratching the back of my head to cope with the lie.
"Anyways, I'm not really into all that shit and I'm already gonna be late to lunch with Nickie." Jackie pushed his way past me and into the bathroom.
"Nickie?" I asked, never having heard about her before.
"Yeah, short for Nicole. She's a blonde baddie from out of state and a campus late enrollee," Jackie turned to see what undoubtedly could only be a face of sheer judgement, he quickly followed the statement with, "She's just a new friend of mine and I'm showing her 'round town."
'Why was it so easy for other people to outright lie and anytime I tried to I always had to have either a scapegoat or a partial lie?'
"H-hey. Do you know where Levi is?" I asked.
His eyebrow raised as I'd interrupted him combing his hair back, "Nah. He's the one who was organizing the whole thing. After seeing all that, I'm not really sure he should be in the group anymore."
"Oh. Okay." I stammered back.
I went into our room and hung my now estranged jacket on the other footer bedpost. Then I pulled a dirty towel out from my laundry bin to dry off and tucked it underneath where my jacket was attempting to create a slip-n-slide on our dorm room floor. It would have to sit for now. Afterward, I pulled on some boy shorts, light blue jeans, and a grey t-shirt.
I'd be off to go find Levi soon enough, but there was one last thing I needed to do after surviving that nightmare body swap. I needed to burn the business card. Now dressed, I approached the headboard where I'd placed it and didn't find it there. My stomach dropped at the prospect that I may have lost it before I remembered that I'd used it and flicked it across the room onto my bed. I searched everywhere on and around my bed, including where the bedframe was pressed against the wall. It still wasn't there.
Had Kabo snuck in and taken it back? Is it possible that Jackie had found it and thrown it away? I couldn't know for sure, but I knew that I'd do whatever it took to find it and destroy it forever. Nobody's soul should have to be on the line or extorted by some new age flavor of sex cultists. That wasn't cool.
I shuddered at the thought that I may have gone to Hell just for skepticism alone. No part of me wanted to believe it until I had witnessed those three demons show up in the bathroom. Then again, how would my entire body have changed too? For a smart kid, I really did feel kind of stupid sometimes.
I'd start by asking Jackie about it, tactfully of course. If he confirmed he hadn't seen it, I could partner up with Levi and he'd know what to do. The campus wasn't that big and I was sure to run into him somewhere if he wasn't already waiting for me.
