Everything was bright and fuzzy out in the hall. At least only for the time that it took for my eyes to adjust. Why did we keep our room so dark, as if the sunlight threatened to expose our every whim. Then I remembered how fucking hot it was and promptly shut that train of thought down. If anything, we were geniuses.

All around me was perfectly normal. The same way that it had always been. Whitewashed plain walls, cheap blue-greyish framing around each of the doors, and overhead rectangular lights that were most certainly mass produced and sold to the University at a discounted wholesale rate.

The only difference I could tangibly notice was the smell.Full novel: Attention Economy – Payment(s) Due — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Everyone around me, from those passing by to the others standing all 'chill' outside of their room doors, were exuding the smell of pure and unadulterated, primal potential. It was the boys' dormitory building, so the stench of their musk and heated desire was prevalent in the air. The mixture of summer heat and warm bodies added to the already sweaty mess generated from only the vast quantities of wood one might find in a national forest. It amazed me that all of these men could sincerely stand abroad a sea of raised pillars and honestly discuss how women turned them on.

I mean, just look at them all! Only paces away from each other that their swords threatened to clash and do battle amongst them. It took everything in my power to break away from them all as I spun back into my room. I was half afraid and half enthralled at the prospect of a gangbang out in the hall, but I needed some time and space away from things so that I could figure out what was happening.

Jackie had migrated to the shower which allowed me the courtesy of some privacy as I paced back and forth in the dark room. Not only did I have a couple classes to attend today, but Professor Lindt's paper was also due this afternoon.

'What am I gonna do,' I pondered, stopping the back-and-forth pacing.

At least there was that. On the other side of the bathroom door was a full-size mirror for changing. There I stood. Long, gorgeous dark brown hair, straightened to frame the oval face structure, a petite and adorable nose, soft plump lips adorned with dark pink gloss, and massive green eyes that screamed innocence, even despite their truly ravenous nature. My skin was smooth and silky, and my ass and breasts sculpted like a dancer. I pulled my top taught and watched as my boobs formed against them, nipples pressing themselves into center stage.

They weren't the largest, but they were still certainly prominent. I reckoned most lovers wouldn't ever complain about them. My favorite part, though, as I turned to a sideview profile of the new form; was the perfectly shaped reverse heart that one might possibly sneak a peek at were they below knee level. My boy shorts had ridden up already forming a slight wedgie and accentuating both cheeks individually, rounded, ready, and wishful.

I was getting myself bothered just by looking and thinking about it, only, it felt different. Instead of the issue of lifting a skirt unhanded with the assistance of an erection, the inside of my shorts started to feel damp. I reached down over my skirt, but under my shorts to verify. Sure enough, my middle finger came back coated in a transparent and slippery substance.

'I can't. I really don't have time for this,' I pleaded with the rational part of me I hoped still existed.

They came through and I refocused my efforts at the mystery still at bay. I snatched up my paper from off the desk, alongside my binders and other school supplies, stuffed them in my sling pack and made for our bedroom blackout curtains. If the hallway would inevitably lead to every hole and crevice of my body being stuffed with student sausages, as much as the idea of it tantalized me, I had no other choice but to utilize the fire escape.

So through the protective veil of cloth and out the window I went, down the raggedy metal bars that passed for 'stairs' and toward the ground floor. I'd have to make the leap down once I'd reached the final floor, but I'd done it plenty of times before this without risk of injury. I made the mistake of grabbing the railing on my way down one of the flights and quickly discovered why you don't put skin to metal contact on a hot summer day. The railing burned a faint cylinder onto the inside of my hand before I frantically jerked it away. For the following floors, you can bet yourself I slowed down and was extra careful getting down.

Once I'd reached the final floor, I crouched down at the precipice of the escape. After I had bolstered my courage, I awkwardly shuffle jumped my way outward and away from the bars and onto the thin patch of grass below, allowing the momentum of the horizontal motion to deliver me into a tumble.

This body made even better work of it than my old one had. Whatever she'd been doing to become so limber and flexible, it was working.

A large exhale escaped me, "I made it," I said.

It was time for me to take some space away from anyone with an uncontrollable libido. Where could I possibly go? Where might be safe?

'Underneath the bleachers at the football field.'

There were no games planned for the remainder of the day and no events going on because of the risk of heat stroke to the students and athletes alike. It would be the perfect place to sit and to think. Someplace with shade where I could sort all this out.
