Ryan’s eyes lit up as he learned Brutal Swing on the spot, becoming the first purely physical combat skill he had learned.
He hadn’t bothered learning the other skill books because they weren’t particularly useful to him.
Brutal Swing, however, can be very useful.
Combined with his Knight Class, it gave him a powerful close-range attack that could deal with groups of enemies.
Ryan glanced at his status screen once more.
"I also leveled up twice."
He nodded in satisfaction.
"I guess that’s enough for today."
He unequipped the Orc Shaman Set and changed back into his casual clothes.
After dismissing the Orc Shaman Chief, the Spirit Serpent, and Blizzy, Ryan walked toward the dungeon exit.
A few moments later, he stepped through the portal and returned to the outside world.
Without wasting any time, he headed straight to the Awakened Market.
The market was as lively as ever.
Adventurers moved from one shop to another, buying equipment, selling monster materials, and negotiating prices with merchants.
Ryan visited several different stores instead of selling everything to one merchant.
This allowed him to get a much better price for his loot.
He sold most of the ordinary monster materials, duplicate equipment, and the skill books he didn’t need.
The rare equipment was also sold after some negotiation.
When he finally finished, he checked the amount of money he had earned.
It was nearly ten times the amount he had spent preparing the trap that had helped him kill his first loot target.
Ryan smiled.
"That was definitely worth it."
He kept the more valuable crafting materials and monster cores while storing the rest of his earnings in his account.
As he left the market, he began thinking about his next target.
"What boss should I hunt tomorrow?"
He quietly muttered to himself as he boarded the magic train heading back to Silver River City.
Silver River City was one of the most famous Awakened cities in the country.
Its reputation came from the Silver River Dungeon, a B-Rank dungeon located just outside the city.
Unlike most dungeons, the Silver River Dungeon was known for its breathtaking scenery.
Clear rivers flowed through lush forests, waterfalls poured down towering cliffs, and countless glowing plants illuminated the landscape.
The dungeon’s environment was unusually stable, making it far safer than most dungeons of the same rank.
Because of its natural beauty, the outer region of the dungeon had even been developed into a controlled tourist area.
Ordinary people could safely visit designated sections under the protection of Awakened guards, making it one of the few dungeons in the world that had become both a training ground and a popular tourist destination.
By evening, Ryan was back home.
His parents were sitting in the living room watching TV when he walked in.
His father looked at him and smiled.
"So, son, how did it go?"
Ryan smiled back.
"Better than I expected."
His parents exchanged a glance before nodding.
"That’s good to hear," his father said.
His mother looked at him curiously.
"Why don’t you tell us how your day in Dawn City went?"
Ryan nodded and sat down with them.
He began telling them about his day, carefully leaving out everything related to Perfect Loot.
Instead, he told them that he had awakened a powerful talent that greatly increased his growth speed, allowing him to level up much faster than ordinary Awakened.
He also explained that he planned to challenge the Class Advancement Trial in the future and hoped to evolve his Knight Class into a higher-ranked class with the help of his talent.
Hearing this, both of his parents looked pleasantly surprised.
"Why didn’t you tell us yesterday?" his mother asked.
Ryan scratched the back of his head.
"Well, the talent’s name sounded more like a crafting ability than a combat one."
"I thought it wasn’t going to help me fight, so I didn’t think much of it at first."
His parents nodded in understanding.
His father smiled.
"It doesn’t matter."
"As long as you’re happy and doing well, that’s enough for us."
Ryan smiled and nodded.
"I’m going to bed now."
"I’m pretty tired."
His mother stood up.
"I’ll make dinner."
Ryan shook his head.
"Just leave it in the fridge."
"I might wake up in the middle of the night and eat it then."
His mother sighed helplessly.
"You shouldn’t push yourself so hard."
Ryan nodded.
"I know."
After saying goodnight to his parents, he returned to his room.
The moment he lay down on his bed, he opened the Origin Tower’s boss database.
Countless boss monsters appeared before him.
"Now that I finally have some real combat power..."
"I can start aiming for much stronger bosses."
He began filtering the list.
After thinking for a moment, he selected Knight-type Bosses.
"It’s better to evolve my Knight Class first."
"Since I can also loot classes, I should be able to obtain higher-ranked Knight Classes from stronger Knight bosses."
Ryan continued browsing through the list.
Soon, dozens of Knight-type bosses from Tier 0 dungeons appeared on the screen.
Ryan carefully looked through the list.
Every boss had a short description showing its class, level, and abilities.

Ryan shook his head.
"Not bad, but I would prefer a mage type undead."
He moved on to the next one.

Ryan nodded.
"That one looks interesting."
He bookmarked it before continuing.
Frost Guardian
Level: 52
Rank: Boss
Class: Frost Knight
Location: Frozen Valley
Ryan saved that one as well.
Since he already possessed the Ice Affinity, the Frost Knight Class could work well with his current abilities.
He continued scrolling.
Holy Templar Commander

Location: Ruined Cathedral
Ryan smiled.
"A Holy Knight would be useful."
He marked it for later.
The next boss appeared.
