"Northern Guardian Princess, please calm down! The Northern Guardian Prince's injuries are peculiar, resembling the symptoms of the Abyssal Poison! Purple lips, blackened face, breath as faint as a thread... these symptoms are exactly like those described in the legends of the Abyssal Poison outbreak!"
"The Abyssal Poison is the most lethal of all poisons under heaven, said to be incurable even by immortals. Even though I can revive the dead and heal bones, I am powerless against the Northern Guardian Prince's injuries!"
"Indeed! Indeed! Please, Princess, prepare the funeral arrangements for the Northern Guardian Prince! He will not wake up!"
Zhuang Zhou had just overheard a group of old men in a chaotic discussion.
Their chatter was all about declaring the Northern Guardian Prince's inevitable death, with no chance of survival!
Immediately, Zhuang Zhou looked towards the sleeping couch where the Northern Guardian Prince lay. Though he couldn't see him, he could already feel a chilling, sinister aura permeating the room. Indeed, the Northern Guardian Prince was cursed with a dark spell, not poisoned.
"Princess, please restrain your grief! From my humble perspective, why not give the Northern Guardian Prince another Venom Pill to send him on his way? Look at him suffering so, with his brows furrowed, enduring endless torment even in a coma. Since the poison is incurable, why not grant him release?"
Eunuch Chen's sharp voice echoed again.
He stood before the sleeping couch, holding a whisk, watching Su Qingfei's distraught expression with a smug smile.
With the Northern Guardian Prince dead, the Northern Guardian Prince's Manor would be finished!
In the Imperial Capital, wolves and tigers awaited to carve up the rich spoils of the Northern Guardian Prince's Manor!
The Northern Guardian Princess, so beautiful and graceful, could be offered to some powerful figures as a concubine, surely pleasing some nobility!
In exchange, perhaps a couple of mansions or some rare elixirs, making the best use of everything!
"Make way, make way! I want to see my father!"
Zhuang Zhou pushed through the crowd, eager to see the Northern Guardian Prince's condition!
"Nonsense! With the Imperial Physicians here consulting on the Northern Guardian Prince's condition, what is a child like you doing causing a ruckus here? Guards! Throw the Northern Guardian Prince's heir out!"
Eunuch Chen acted as if he were the master of the Northern Guardian Prince's Manor.
Two of Eunuch Chen's personal eunuchs rushed forward, their hands clawing towards Zhuang Zhou's shoulders from both sides.
Their eyes showed a hint of malice, and their strength was clearly not just to throw Zhuang Zhou out. If their claw technique hit, even iron would shatter, let alone Zhuang Zhou's shoulders!
However, they were fast, but Zhuang Zhou was faster.
Before his rebirth, he had roamed the chaotic world for a century, struggling between life and death, with fighting and killing ingrained in his bones as instinct.
Dodge!
The two eunuchs missed.
In the next moment, Zhuang Zhou lowered his shoulder, elbowed, and punched!
Like a fierce tiger!
His punch landed on one of the eunuch's hearts!
With a boom, the eunuch's chest exploded, splattering blood everywhere.
His heart shattered, and he died instantly!
"What crime is it to commit violence against the heir of the Northern Guardian Prince's Manor?"
Zhuang Zhou questioned, his voice authoritative.
His pristine clothes were stained with blood!
His tense young face bore a severity beyond his years!
A murderous aura!
Making Eunuch Chen feel as if an invisible hand gripped his heart, suffocating him!
"Rebellion! Rebellion! Zhuang Zhou, you actually killed someone from the palace! Guards! Seize him! Seize him!"
Eunuch Chen's voice was sharp as a needle.
His pupils were filled with fear!
He hadn't expected Zhuang Zhou to dare act! Nor had he expected such immense power to erupt from Zhuang Zhou's small body!
As Eunuch Chen's voice fell.
Dozens of soldiers clad in dark armor, armed to the teeth with long halberds and blades, surrounded everyone in the room.
"Quick, quick, seize Zhuang Zhou!"
Eunuch Chen shouted at the soldiers.
However, a cold smile appeared on Zhuang Zhou's lips.
The leader of the soldiers said, "Protect the Prince! Protect the heir! Surround these people, don't let a single one escape!"
These soldiers were all personal guards of the Northern Guardian Prince.
How could they listen to Eunuch Chen's orders!
Eunuch Chen's face turned ashen, all color drained.
He was a palace man, accustomed to bloodless power struggles, never having witnessed such brutal bloodshed!
Zhuang Zhou approached the other eunuch who had attacked him earlier and said, "Drag this dog to the back mountain to feed the dogs! Killing him would dirty the blades of the Northern Guardian Prince's Manor!"
"No!" Two guards stepped forward, covering the young eunuch's mouth and dragging him away.
At this moment, Zhuang Zhou was utterly ruthless.
He came from a chaotic world, fully aware of human wickedness!
Being merciful to enemies is being cruel to oneself! Only by being ruthless to enemies can you deter those who would dare to bully you!
Seeing his two subordinates die miserably, a foul smell emanated from Eunuch Chen's pants.
Although Zhuang Zhou killed the young eunuch, the torment seemed to fall upon him.
The ever-approaching fear of death was more torturous than a swift beheading.
"Eunuch Chen, now that they're dealt with, isn't it your turn?"
Zhuang Zhou sneered, approaching Eunuch Chen step by step.
Eunuch Chen's face grew paler, retreating step by step.
"Zhuang Zhou, heir, I am His Majesty's man, you cannot harm me!"
"Cannot harm you? You've already put the knife to my father and my neck! Leaving you alive, should we wait for your revenge?"
Zhuang Zhou halted.
His eyes, filled with murderous intent, fixed on Eunuch Chen.
"Eunuch Chen, do you know? I've tolerated you for long enough!
You are nothing but a castrated dog, daring to plot against the Prince, insult the Princess. If I don't kill you, how can I uphold the law, how can I reassure the people!"
Zhuang Zhou's voice was stern. His hand suddenly reached out, grabbing Eunuch Chen's thigh!
Eunuch Chen frantically tried to block, but Zhuang Zhou shattered his hand with a single strike.
Zhuang Zhou grabbed Eunuch Chen's thigh, and with a crack.
Eunuch Chen's thigh bone shattered instantly.
Taking advantage, Zhuang Zhou tore Eunuch Chen's thigh off. The stark white bone and glaring red blood were extremely striking, Eunuch Chen was in unbearable pain, losing balance and falling to the ground.
"Since your fifth limb is gone, there's no need to keep the other four!"
Zhuang Zhou snorted coldly, tearing off Eunuch Chen's other two arms and one leg, leaving him a mere torso and head.
"Zhuang Zhou! I am acting on imperial orders! You will face royal retribution for treating me like this!"
Eunuch Chen's face was twisted and hideous!
"The Northern Guardian Prince is doomed! The Northern Guardian Prince's Manor is collapsing! If I die, you won't have it easy either, hahaha!"
"Guards! Stand this castrated dog up! I want him to see whether my father will die! Just a bunch of incompetent physicians, do they really think my father is doomed? Ridiculous!"
Zhuang Zhou's eyes were cold as swords, piercing into the hearts of the Imperial Physicians.
"Today, I will show you that my father is cursed, not poisoned as you claim with your Abyssal Poison nonsense!"
