Quang Binh City, the Vuong Family Villa.

“Just come in, Mom!”

Hearing her son’s reply, Nguyen Ngoc Linh cautiously cracked the door open and peeked inside.Full novel: Back to the Future: The Primordial Reboot — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She then led a servant robot in, pushing a food cart forward:

“Sweetheart, how are you feeling?”

“Better than ever!

Mom, you guys don’t need to worry.”

The eldest young master Vuong smiled brightly.

The boundless confidence radiating from his smile made Nguyen Ngoc Linh slightly doubtful, yet incomparably thrilled at the same time.

It seemed this minor setback hadn’t broken her son’s spirit.

Instead, it had forged him into someone even more resolute and composed.

“That’s wonderful!”

She repeatedly thanked the heavens for their blessing, then sat down on the edge of the bed.

Grasping his hand with one hand, she presented the jade bottle with the other, offering it up like a priceless treasure:

“My precious boy, guess what this is?”

Looking at his mother’s outrageously youthful face—which still retained a hint of innocence—and her playful winks, Vuong Minh speechlessly rolled his eyes.

Seeing this, Nguyen Ngoc Linh grew displeased.

She leaned in close, pinching his cheeks with both hands, and purposefully pulled his head into a tight hug, making Young Master Vuong flush beet red:

“Mom, I’m grown up already!”

Ignoring his protests, Mother Vuong angrily pinched his cheeks a few more times before huffing out an explanation:

“Sweetheart, this Spirit Essence Meridian-Mending Pill is your uncle’s life-saving treasure.

He’s giving it to you now to heal your injuries.

You must engrave this favor in your heart.

In the future, if you achieve success, you absolutely must not forget the one who lifted you up during your time of need.

Do you understand?”

An alchemical pill?

Wasn’t this exactly like someone handing him a pillow right when he was dozing off?

Vuong Minh’s eyes lit up, but he didn’t forget his mother’s earnest instruction.

With a sincere and resolute attitude, he nodded:

“Mom, don’t worry!

I’ll definitely pay Uncle back for this, and I’ll take good care of you and Dad.”

He spoke without the slightest hesitation or guilty conscience, firmly believing he had the power to make this family’s life even better.

Nguyen Ngoc Linh was extremely gratified.

Leaning in affectionately, she planted a loud kiss on his cheek:

“Good boy!

Muahh!

Mommy’s sweetheart has grown up!”

Vuong Minh: ….

After teasing her son a bit more and instructing him to quickly eat the medicinal soup, take the pill, and rest, Nguyen Ngoc Linh finally skipped out of the room with satisfaction, leaving the private space to the eldest young master Vuong.

….

The Vuong Family Villa,

Waiting until the figures of his mother and the servant robot had completely vanished behind the alloy door, Vuong Minh could no longer suppress his monkey-like impatience.

He barked an order at the watch on his wrist:

“Amy!

Disable the entire surveillance system in the room and activate the highest security protocol.

I do not want anyone, not even the butler or the robots, to see what I am about to do.”

“Understood, my dear Master!”

The certain elf assistant put on a clever, ‘I-understand-completely’ expression and replied in a coquettish tone.

Immediately, a series of click, clack sounds echoed out.

The ceiling lights abruptly dimmed, shifting into a hazy pink hue.

The curtains automatically drew tight, and the cameras simultaneously went offline.

Modern and convenient.

Chairman Vuong was highly satisfied with this efficiency and was just about to turn around and give his virtual assistant a thumbs-up in praise.

Who would have thought the following shift in tone would nearly make him fall backward?

At some unknown point, the elf had manifested beside the bed.

The heroic full-body armor he had chosen for her earlier had vanished into thin air.

In its place were only three tiny scraps of lace fabric covering her most sensitive areas.

The artistic Na’vi-patterned skin had reverted to its original snow-white, looking ethereal under the dim lights.

She stood there, twisting her fiery figure, and spoke in a syrupy, flirtatious voice:

“Master…

which erotic outfit would you like Amy to wear today?

A maid, a catgirl, a fairy, or a bikini?

Also, would you like to watch the Six Mystical Fairy Postures dance from last time, or the newly updated Spirit Dance of the Shedding Shell?”

“SCRAM!!!!”

Young Master Vuong was so furious he almost suffocated, shouting coarsely:

“Get back in there!

Delete all these garbage functions right now!

From now on, absolutely any seductive or provocative behavior is banned.

Only keep the functions for daily life assistance, studying, and cultivation.

Do you hear me?”

“Understood, Master!”

Amy instantly restored her emotionless expression, indifferently accepting the command before dissolving into motes of light and vanishing.

Only then did Vuong Minh somewhat calm down.

“What the hell was that!!!”

He furiously cursed the predecessor in his head, then forcefully suppressed his surging blood energy before hastily pulling the blanket up to cover his entire body, completely burying himself in the darkness.

Once he felt secure, Vuong Minh couldn’t wait any longer and brought out the jade bottle containing the Spirit Essence Meridian-Mending Pill.

Instantly, a faint spatial fluctuation swept past, and the entire jade bottle vanished completely.

Within his sea of consciousness, he saw it enveloped by a cluster of Violet Radiance.

“Deconstruct!” Vuong Minh chanted in his mind.

Immediately, the jade bottle and the pill inside slowly dissolved into the most fundamental motes of matter, melting into the Violet Radiance.

Deep within, a surge of energy began to steadily accumulate.

However, the deconstruction process for the jade bottle and the pill was different.

The former took a full two minutes, while the latter only took about twenty seconds.

Vuong Minh’s eyes flickered, seeming to grasp a crucial point.

But he didn’t have time to dwell on that right now.

He focused his intent once more:

“Spirit Essence Meridian-Mending Pill!”

Another 30 seconds passed, and a perfectly round pill, exuding a fragrant herbal aroma, appeared in the palm of his hand.

Vuong Minh raised an eyebrow and urged the Violet Radiance to fabricate the jade bottle.

This time, it took less than two seconds for an identical jade bottle to appear in his left hand.

Simultaneously, the mysterious energy accumulated within the Violet Radiance dissipated completely, not leaving a single drop behind.

Conservation of energy…

how terrifying.

Thrilled to the extreme, he poured the pill into the bottle and set it aside.

He then started poking out of the blanket, grabbing the bowl of medicinal soup, then a spoon, then chopsticks…

until a dizzying, exhausting sensation emanated from the depths of his divine soul.

Horrified, Vuong Minh temporarily suspended his exploration.

“Phew!”

Exhaling deeply, he lay back on the bed, eyes squeezed shut, waiting for the throbbing ache to subside.

His mind continued to race.

Through the recent experimental trials, he had more or less figured out the operational principles of the Violet Radiance.

Roughly speaking, the more spiritual energy an object contained, the faster it could be absorbed, but the longer it took to replicate.

Conversely, mundane objects were hard to deconstruct but easy to copy.

Take the stainless-steel spoon, for example.

Deconstruction took nearly five minutes, but replication took only one second.

The energy gained was negligible—it wasn’t worth the effort at all.

On the other hand, liquids were very easy to absorb, taking only a few seconds, while providing nearly as much energy as metals.

Furthermore, and most importantly, every single deconstruction or creation consumed his mental strength; the Primordial Seed didn’t operate on its own.

Therefore, the thought of infinitely replicating any object could be tossed out the window.

Or at least, it was impossible right now.

Whether it would be possible in the future when his cultivation was profound enough remained uncertain.

But even so, Vuong Minh was already extremely satisfied.

Next, Vuong Minh tried activating the emotion-conversion function.

Within the space of the Primordial Seed, two clusters of mist appeared—one white, one red—representing two opposing emotional spectrums.

One nourished the divine soul and aided in deducing cultivation methods, while the other flared into karmic fire to strengthen the physical body.

The effect was quite good, but the amount of emotion gathered was simply too sparse.

It wasn’t nearly enough for him to feel any noticeable difference.

But it wasn’t hard to understand.

He, the eldest young master Vuong, was merely a 12th grader.

His social circle was only so big.

In school, people considered him a campus idol—some secretly admired him, others envied and hated him.

But once he graduated, who would even remember who the hell he was, let alone generate emotions toward him?

The road was long, and he had to take it step by step.

“I’ll give you a name, let’s call you Violet Star!

From now on, the two of us will brave the sea of stars together.”

After happily giving the purple light in his head the name Violet Star, Vuong Minh’s headache seemed to ease—whether due to his euphoric mood or the earlier baptism of ‘faith’.

He quickly sat up, walked over to the table, and downed the bowl of chicken soup stewed with various medicinal herbs—personally cooked by his Mother —in one gulp.

He felt the love overflowing in his soul.

“Refreshing!”

Waking up a certain loli and having her command the servant robots to clean up, CEO Vuong swaggered out the door, entering the training room to consume the Spirit Essence Meridian-Mending Pill.

…

A night passed without a single ripple.

By early morning the next day, Vuong Minh had awakened from his state of cultivation.

It had to be said, with no women in his heart, his cultivation was naturally god-like.

Having focused single-mindedly on absorbing the pill last night, Vuong Minh felt exceptionally refreshed this morning.

The Spirit Essence Meridian-Mending Pill truly lived up to its name as a pill for Meridian Opening Realm experts; its medicinal efficacy was peerlessly potent.

Even as he consumed it, he realized he was wasting it—three to four tenths of the medicinal power couldn’t be converted in time and dissipated through his pores.

But the wealthy Chairman Vuong naturally didn’t care about such losses.

As long as it was useful to him, it was worth it.

And after a night of nourishment, the hidden injuries in his meridians were completely healed.

In fact, his muscles, flesh, and meridians were even more resilient and powerful than before.

His Tier Four Spirit Channeling cultivation had surged significantly—it was utterly fantastic.

Radiating with vitality, he stepped out of the room, immediately running into the old butler, Uncle Binh, who had been waiting outside for a long time:

“Good morning, Young Master!”

“Good morning, Uncle Binh!”

Seeing the young master’s bright face, spirited eyes, and the confident arch of his brows, Uncle Binh offered a joyful congratulation:

“It seems Young Master reaped a bountiful harvest last night!

This old man congratulates Young Master in advance on a prosperous martial path!”

“Haha, thank you, Uncle Binh!

A pill is truly a pill, the harvest is indeed not small.

Uncle really did me a massive favor this time.”

Though called a butler, Uncle Binh was like family to them.

The old man had no wife or children.

In his youth, he had followed Vuong Minh’s maternal grandfather onto the battlefield.

Later, when his grandfather was injured and discharged, he returned to Quang Tri to open a martial arts dojo.

Uncle Binh had followed by his side ever since.

When Nguyen Ngoc Linh got married, he followed her to take care of her, and later, Vuong Minh.

Therefore, there was no need to keep any family secrets from him.

Sure enough, Uncle Binh already knew about Nguyen Hung Cuong gifting the pill and wasn’t surprised at all.

The old man simply flashed another sincere smile and led the way:

“Young Master, the Master and Madam are waiting for you downstairs for breakfast.

Let us go and deliver the good news to them.”

“Alright!

Let’s go, Uncle Binh!”

The old man and the young boy, both brimming with joy, headed downstairs together.

They chatted continuously along the way, the atmosphere incredibly warm and welcoming.
