It was night. Cheng Min squinted his eyes, nestled on the small sofa on the balcony. His beautiful long golden hair casually draped down to his waist, with only three buttons fastened, leaving a large area of his chest exposed. A pair of slender, fair legs peeked out from the wide-open robe, casually resting on the backrest. The silver bell on his foot gently jingled with his movements. Under the moonlight, there was an indescribable impulse.

On his knee lay an ancient magic book, and his distinct fingers flipped through it absentmindedly. He didn’t care if anyone saw him like this; after all, the lowly human servants didn’t have the guts. If anyone dared to defy him, a flick of his finger would be enough for a small punishment. Anyway, nothing would happen. Because this was a world ruled by elves, and Cheng Min, possessing powerful magic, naturally had the ability to teach these lowly humans a lesson.

However, as the future heir of one of the four great families, Cheng Min also bore significant responsibilities, like now. He had to fully understand a complex magic book within a week to face the elf mentor’s inspection. Every elf heir had an elf mentor to teach them magic and its application, usually starting around the age of three. But Cheng Min was truly hopeless, the kind who would fall asleep at the table after reading just two pages. He never took the elf mentor’s words seriously. If it weren’t for his father’s orders, he wouldn’t even be sitting here, let alone opening the magic book.Full novel: Bad Seed Wants to Be a Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After finally finishing the page, he laboriously turned to the next one, his inner irritation growing stronger, almost ready to explode. But as luck would have it, someone dared to provoke Cheng Min’s temper. Hearing the laughter from the garden below, his anger erupted completely.

“Bang.” The magic book in his hand was thrown out, hitting the floor heavily. Cheng Min got up, barefoot, and with a crisp “ding-dong” sound, walked to the edge of the balcony, looking down. A few reckless human servants stood on the grass, cleaning up fallen leaves from the trees while playing and joking with their companions. It was extremely annoying.

“Is it fun?” Cheng Min leaned on the balcony edge, showing a perfect fake smile. The laughter stopped abruptly, and the people stood still, none daring to answer him. “All mute?” Cheng Min withdrew his smile, scanning the crowd. The next second, a pot of flowers on the balcony floated into the air and, in everyone’s sight, smashed heavily in front of one of the human servants. This was just a small warning; next time, it wouldn’t be so simple. “Scram,” he spat out a word.

After dealing with the human servants, Cheng Min felt refreshed, turned back to the small sofa, sighed, picked up the magic book again, and started studying. Staring at the familiar yet unfamiliar black characters, Cheng Min’s vision gradually blurred, and drowsiness overwhelmed him. Suddenly, a red thing appeared in front of him, covering a character, but soon, it moved its limbs and slowly crawled elsewhere. Cheng Min snapped back to reality, realizing it was a ladybug.

He reached out a hand, tentatively touching the ladybug. The moment his fingertip made contact, it fled in panic, like a headless fly. This was much more interesting than reading. He continued to tease the ladybug with interest, enjoying its panicked appearance. Just like the human servants, timid and weak, only knowing how to compromise, easily controlled.

Soon, he got bored, grabbed the ladybug, glanced around, locked his gaze on a spot, and then tossed it. The ladybug barely flapped its wings before being swallowed by a carnivorous plant, losing its life completely. Cheng Min watched this scene with satisfaction, yawned, placed the book on the table, and walked inside. His fair feet stood out on the black wooden floor.

One step… two steps, Cheng Min stopped, sensing something unusual, slowly turned, and frowned, looking towards the balcony. But it was empty. Cheng Min breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he was just being overly sensitive, hearing things. He turned and continued towards the bed.

“Creak.” The sound of a branch breaking was particularly piercing in the silent room. Instantly, he turned quickly, with lightning speed, mobilizing his energy to attack the source of the sound. A light ball hit the spot, knocking over several pots of flowers, which fell to the ground, spinning a few times before stopping, spilling most of the soil everywhere.

His expression was tense, staring at the spot, once again mobilizing energy to attack. The moment the light ball hit, a figure quickly dodged, slowly appearing in view. The man had broad shoulders and a narrow waist, about 1.9 meters tall. Due to the backlight, his face was unclear. “Lu Bingxun?” His heart skipped a beat, frowning as he called out.

In response, there was a sneer. “Tsk, you can’t even recognize people.” The man teased, “Does the young master really have the ability to be the future heir of the family? Why not obediently marry me and have a few kids instead?” Cheng Min stood still, clenching his fists, somewhat incredulous, but more so furious. Someone dared to sneak into his room, spy on him, and openly provoke him.

Since childhood, he was surrounded by people who dared not defy him, accustomed to a life where everyone obeyed and flattered him. He had never been so humiliated. He was about to explode with anger. If he found out this man’s information, he would definitely teach him a harsh lesson, then keep him by his side, punishing him daily. Let’s see if he dares again. By then, he’d probably be on his knees, begging for mercy.

A dull sound of footsteps echoed, very clear. Cheng Min snapped back to reality, the man was slowly approaching him. In the deep night, a pair of blue eyes shone brightly, looking at him like a juicy prey. His heart skipped a beat, hurriedly launching an attack, trying to stop the man’s steps. But he underestimated the man’s strength. The light balls were either dodged or dispersed. The speed was too fast for Cheng Min to see what move he used.

As a high-level elf, his abilities were not to be underestimated, but here, he was repeatedly at a disadvantage. There was no chance to resist. For the first time, Cheng Min showed a panicked expression, unconsciously stepping back a few steps, but due to his pride, he didn’t choose to flee immediately. After all, a future family heir couldn’t be defeated by an intruder, let alone abandon his territory and flee in panic.

If such a thing happened, Cheng Min would undoubtedly become the laughingstock of other family heirs, mentioned at every gathering. He didn’t want that to happen. In Cheng Min’s wild thoughts, the man came before him. The height difference was significant, the beautiful elf only reaching the man’s collarbone, completely shrouded in shadow. He defiantly looked up, showing a disdainful gaze.

Only then did he see the man’s face, ordinary features, the kind that would be lost in a crowd. Cheng Min couldn’t recall this person at all. Not that bastard. He couldn’t sense any energy fluctuations from him, just a human servant. Just as he was thinking, the man suddenly lowered his head, leaned closer, pinched Cheng Min’s chin, and was about to kiss him.

“Slap.” The beautiful elf didn’t have much strength, and the man’s face only turned a bit red. “Ding-dong.” With the movement, the small bell tied to his ankle made a crisp sound. Cheng Min glared at him, his chest heaving, “You think you can touch me?” Hearing this, the man’s face turned cold, losing patience completely. He was held in the man’s arms, his chin pinched again, lifted, and kissed roughly, like a mad dog, desperately taking everything from Cheng Min’s mouth.

Any resistance was quickly suppressed. The beautiful elf was kissed until his vision went black, his body softened, but a hand firmly supported him, making him unable to move, forced to accept everything. At the same time, a faint pain came from his arm. Finally, it ended. Cheng Min leaned weakly on the man’s shoulder, gasping for breath, tears uncontrollably streaming from the corners of his eyes, quickly blurring his vision. He was actually kissed by a lowly human.

Warm breath fell on his earlobe, somewhat hot. The man kissed his earlobe, saying, “Wife, you smell so good, I want to eat you right now.” “Don’t touch me.” Cheng Min pushed him away forcefully, wiped his tears, no longer having the naive thoughts from before, and turned to run outside. But unfortunately, he was caught by the man again, held in his arms, and carried to the bed.

The man showed a dissatisfied expression, starting to touch Cheng Min’s clothes. Of course, he wouldn’t agree, reaching out to stop him, but a big hand firmly restrained his head. Now, Cheng Min was at a loss. “Don’t dress like this anymore.” With that, the man pulled his clothes, starting to button them up. “Even your thighs are exposed, who are you trying to seduce?” “What does it have to do with you?” Cheng Min coldly spat out two words, “Bastard.”

He really couldn’t understand what was wrong with this man, coming over in the middle of the night, clearly interested in him, yet doing nothing. “Wife.” The man pinched his waist, somewhat regretfully saying, “Your words really hurt.” “Ah.” Cheng Min’s vision went black, crying out in pain, feeling a piece of flesh bitten off his neck.
