However, in the next second.

Before Cheng Min could take any action, a massive energy wave came rushing towards him. He quickly maneuvered his body to dodge and grabbed a nearby stool, hurling it towards the source of the attack.

With a loud crash, the stool shattered into countless pieces, and a dense cloud of dust spread through the air, temporarily blocking the enemy’s view.Full novel: Bad Seed Wants to Be a Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Cheng Min quickly dashed upstairs, eager to return to his room and find a hidden spot to hide.

It was clear that they were targeting him, and he had no idea how many of them there were. Right now, he was completely drained of energy and was no match for them. Survival was the priority.

While thinking, Cheng Min had already reached the upper floor. He opened the door to his room and was about to slip inside when he was met with a scene that took his breath away.

Several familiar faces appeared before Cheng Min, all of whom he had wronged in the past when he was the young master of the Cheng family, relying on his status.

They were closing in on him, their eyes gleaming with a kind of excitement, as if they were looking at a lamb ready for slaughter. In a critical moment, Cheng Min reacted quickly and shut the door right in front of them.

There were enemies on the first floor too, so he definitely couldn’t walk into a trap. The commotion was so loud, yet the others in the villa hadn’t woken up, clearly having been tampered with by them.

So now, he could only rely on himself to find another way out.

With this thought, a crazy idea flashed through his mind. Then, like a madman, he ran towards the balcony on the second floor, hoping to take a desperate leap before they caught him.

The footsteps behind him were relentless, and countless energy bullets whizzed past him. Cheng Min gritted his teeth, forcing his body to keep running forward.

Finally, he saw hope. Cheng Min, panting, reached the edge of the balcony just as the pursuers arrived behind him.

Without hesitation, Cheng Min swung one leg over, ready to jump, but suddenly his movements halted. His entire body felt drained of strength, weak and powerless.

Below, in his line of sight, several familiar faces appeared, standing there, waiting for Cheng Min to jump down into their hands.

“Young Master Cheng.” A voice sounded from behind.

Cheng Min stiffly turned around to face the person in front of him.

The man had an ordinary appearance, with a noticeable scar near his eye. He slowly walked forward, stopping in front of Cheng Min, and pinched his chin to examine him closely. “Tsk, I originally wanted to kill you, but now I’m a bit reluctant.”

Cheng Min frowned and quickly broke free.

The man’s hand paused in mid-air, a flash of anger in his eyes. “You really don’t know how to appreciate kindness.” With that, he swung his hand towards Cheng Min.

Cheng Min was stunned, forgetting to dodge, and watched as the slap came towards him.

With a “bang,” the glass behind him shattered completely, some shards splattering onto the man in front of him.

His movements froze, and he slowly released Cheng Min.

A man slowly emerged from the shadows, broad-shouldered and narrow-waisted, about 1.9 meters tall, with scars covering his exposed arms.

His features were sharp, with a hint of ruthlessness in his eyes.

When his gaze fell on Cheng Min, it couldn’t move away. “Wife, I’m here to take you home.”

Lu Bingxun!

Cheng Min’s mind buzzed, and he instinctively took a few steps back, leaning against the balcony to distance himself from Lu Bingxun and the others.

Why was he here, and why did he save him?

They grew up together, and Cheng Min hadn’t been particularly kind to him. It didn’t take much thought to know what kind of fate awaited him in Lu Bingxun’s hands.

All those years of grudges, he would want to settle them one by one with Cheng Min.

Cheng Min would rather die at the hands of his enemies than be slowly tortured by Lu Bingxun. That feeling was too painful, worse than death.

The enemies chasing Cheng Min seemed somewhat wary of Lu Bingxun. Upon seeing that it was him who saved Cheng Min, they didn’t immediately retaliate.

Instead, they stood quietly to the side, watching the scene unfold.

Cheng Min sensed something was wrong and glanced downstairs, looking for the right moment to escape.

“Wife, come over here.” Lu Bingxun called out to him. “It’s not safe here. What self-defense ability does a delicate, pretty elf like you have? Be good and come home with me.”

Home?

Cheng Min let out a cold laugh, mocking, “Lu Bingxun, are you out of your mind? When did we become family?”

“We always have been.” Lu Bingxun also smiled.

Cheng Min raised his head, coldly replying, “In your dreams.”

“Wife.” Lu Bingxun’s smile faded, and he stared at Cheng Min. “Hurry up and come over.”

Before he finished speaking, Cheng Min swung one leg over the balcony and jumped down.

“Cheng Min.” Cheng Min’s arm was grabbed tightly, forcibly pulled back, and he was firmly held in an embrace, unable to move. Warm breath brushed against his neck, and Lu Bingxun’s nightmarish voice sounded in his ear, “Do you feel uncomfortable not courting death?”

Cheng Min struggled desperately, but a sharp pain stopped him, and the strong scent of blood spread through the air.

His eyes reddened, glaring at Lu Bingxun, who licked the blood at the corner of his lips, a glint in his eyes.

“Bastard.” Cheng Min roared, “Get lost.”

A bastard dared to come here and humiliate him like this.

Lu Bingxun raised an eyebrow, showing a regretful expression, as if annoyed by Cheng Min’s lack of understanding.

“Forget it.” Lu Bingxun’s face returned to normal, pinching Cheng Min’s waist. “Wife’s bad temper is just like that, so I’ll forgive you for now.”

He really gave him face. Cheng Min’s mind hadn’t caught up, but his body reacted first, slapping Lu Bingxun.

“Do you even deserve it?” Cheng Min gasped, “Look at what you are.”

Hearing this, Lu Bingxun suddenly released Cheng Min, took a few steps back, glanced at the enemies nearby, and finally fixed his gaze on Cheng Min. “You’re right, how could a bastard like me deserve Young Master Cheng?” He emphasized the last three words, then continued, “I suppose Young Master Cheng doesn’t want to go with me, so you can stay here obediently. I’m leaving now.”

With that, Lu Bingxun turned and left.

The room returned to its previous state. Before Cheng Min could act, a laser ball hit him directly, and intense pain surged through him, quickly spreading throughout his body.

He clutched his arm, falling to the ground, his hair yanked up forcefully, and an energy gun pressed against his shoulder. “Young Master Cheng, how about the next shot here?”

Instantly, a chill surged through him, and Cheng Min shivered, regretting not obediently leaving with Lu Bingxun earlier.

Lu Bingxun was interested in him, at least he wouldn’t kill Cheng Min immediately.

Not hearing Cheng Min’s response, the man sneered, pulling the trigger. Another wave of intense pain hit, and Cheng Min’s vision went black, saliva uncontrollably dripping from the corner of his mouth.

“Truly fallen.” He pinched Cheng Min’s face. “It’s still early, we can play slowly.”

At this moment, Cheng Min’s inner defenses crumbled, and he cried out, “Lu Bingxun, I want to go home with you.”

“Not regretting this time?” Lu Bingxun’s voice sounded not far away.

Cheng Min lifted his head, his vision blurred by tears, only able to see a vague figure standing near the door. He knew it was Lu Bingxun.

“Yes.” He nodded quickly, “I want to go with you.”

“Only my wife can go with me.” A pair of shoes appeared in front of him, his tears wiped away, and Cheng Min was forced to kneel on the ground, looking at Lu Bingxun in front of him. “So are you?”

Cheng Min slowly nodded, “I am.”

“What are you?” The grip on his chin tightened, asking again, “Make it clear, what are you?”

“I am… your wife.” Cheng Min stammered, repeating, “Lu… Lu Bingxun’s… wife.”

“Good.” He sneered, opening his arms, “Come here.”

Cheng Min slowly moved his body, clutching tightly to Lu Bingxun’s chest, his voice muffled, “Let’s go home.”

“Okay.” Lu Bingxun kissed his cheek softly, “Let’s go home.”

On Deni Star, there were many human settlements. This was the first time Cheng Min knew, as Lu Bingxun brought him back to the base and settled him in a room.

The room was entirely gray-toned, with simple furnishings. Besides the large bed beneath him, there was only a set of tables and chairs, filled with small items Cheng Min had never seen.

As soon as Lu Bingxun placed him on the bed, Cheng Min quickly crawled into a corner. Lu Bingxun just glanced at him, said nothing, and left.

With the door closed, Cheng Min was left alone.

Relaxing from the tense state earlier, Cheng Min felt a bit sleepy. Regardless of his surroundings, he lay down and closed his eyes.

He didn’t know how long had passed, but in a daze, Cheng Min was awakened by someone. He opened his eyes in confusion and saw Lu Bingxun’s face.

He was standing in front of him, holding a tube of ointment.

“Come here.” He patted the spot in front of him.

He was going to apply medicine to him, so Cheng Min didn’t hesitate and obediently approached Lu Bingxun.

“This is the only ointment we have, make do with it.” Cheng Min was held in his arms, stripped of all his clothes, and as he squeezed out some ointment, he applied it while speaking, “That’s what you get for not listening. It might leave a scar.”

“Ugly.” Cheng Min frowned, saying.

“That’s your own doing.” He pinched Cheng Min’s face, “Who else can you blame?”

Lu Bingxun applied the ointment meticulously, not even missing the scratches caused by the energy ball. The ointment was cool, and the burning pain subsided significantly. Cheng Min was held in Lu Bingxun’s arms, with no intention of letting go.

Just as he was about to speak, the world spun, and Cheng Min was pressed onto the bed by Lu Bingxun, kissed all over.

The never-visited camp finally welcomed an explorer, the pure and beautiful elf defiled by humans, the former mission descending upon him.

Together, Cheng Min became a weak dodder, and as time went on, their feelings grew stronger, even slowly leaving behind a bloodline of the two.

“Wife, you’re mine now.”
