The symptoms of the fatigue period grew more severe with each passing day. By the third day, they had reached their peak. Cheng Min, dressed in pajamas, curled up in bed, spending most of his time asleep. During this period, he was mostly with Lu Bingxun.

In the morning, Cheng Min was awakened by a strong sense of heat. He sat up, looked around in a daze, and realized that Lu Bingxun was not there. Where did he go? Cheng Min pursed his lips, his hair damp with sweat and sticking to his forehead. The heat surged within him, and his grip on the sheets was so tight that he almost tore the fabric. His gaze was fixed on the door.

“Husband,” Cheng Min called out uncontrollably into the air, eagerly anticipating Lu Bingxun’s appearance. However, as time passed, the door remained unopened, and Cheng Min’s hope gradually faded. Even at this moment, Cheng Min remembered what Lu Bingxun had told him and did not run around like last time.Full novel: Bad Seed Wants to Be a Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He threw off the covers, got out of bed, and was driven to the wardrobe. He rummaged through it and found a few of Lu Bingxun’s clothes, hugging them tightly as if they were treasures. He buried his head in them and took a deep breath, the faint scent of laundry detergent filling his nostrils—it was the smell of Lu Bingxun. Cheng Min felt a bit happy.

But it wasn’t enough. Cheng Min squatted by the wardrobe, continuing to search for more clothes with Lu Bingxun’s scent, placing them in front of him. Yet, these still couldn’t fill the void in his heart.

“Creak.” At that moment, the door was pushed open from the outside. Cheng Min looked up, and a blurry figure appeared in his sight—it seemed to be Lu Bingxun. He stood up, stumbled over to the person, and threw himself into Lu Bingxun’s arms, rubbing against him incessantly. “Husband, you’re finally back.”

Unexpectedly, the man’s body stiffened noticeably and, unlike usual, did not hug Cheng Min back. Instead, he began to struggle, trying to shake Cheng Min off. The dazed elf didn’t notice anything unusual, thinking that Lu Bingxun was just too tired. He reached out to unbutton the man’s shirt, revealing a large expanse of skin. He leaned in, ignoring the man’s resistance, and wrapped his arms around his neck, “I want a kiss.”

Upon hearing this, the man’s reaction became even more intense. Cheng Min was hurt, frowning and feeling a bit angry. “What are you doing?” An angry voice sounded in his ear. At the same time, both of them stopped moving. The next second, Cheng Min was pulled away from the man’s embrace by a strong force and into another person’s arms.

“Let go of me,” Cheng Min cried, struggling. “I want to find my husband.” Warm breath brushed against his face, and a gloomy yet familiar voice sounded in his ear, “Wife, open your eyes and see who I am?” Cheng Min rubbed his eyes, and his vision cleared. Lu Bingxun’s gloomy face appeared in front of him. Looking back, he realized that the person was actually one of his subordinates.

Suddenly, Cheng Min’s mind went blank. It’s over!

“Bang.” The door was slammed shut. Cheng Min was carried back to the bed by Lu Bingxun. As soon as his limbs touched the ground, he crawled towards the corner. Halfway there, a hand grabbed his ankle, dragging him back, exposing him once again to the furious Lu Bingxun.

Cheng Min was so scared that he covered his eyes, not daring to look at Lu Bingxun. “Do you like him?” His earlobe was pinched by a hand, the pad of the finger rubbing against it, causing a burning pain that made Cheng Min cry out. Yet, he didn’t stop, continuing to cruelly interrogate his little wife, “Couldn’t wait, could you? I just left for a while, and you went to seduce a wild man.”

Seeing that he misunderstood him, Cheng Min couldn’t sit still any longer and hurriedly explained, “I love my husband the most.” “Hmm?” Lu Bingxun sneered, continuing to ask, “Then why did you kiss him? Isn’t kissing me good enough?”

Understanding that he was jealous, Cheng Min already had a plan. “Good, of course, it’s good.” Cheng Min propped himself up, sat up, and quickly snuggled into Lu Bingxun’s arms, trying to kiss him. “I’ll kiss my husband right now.”

However, the usual tricks didn’t work on Lu Bingxun this time. He gently pushed Cheng Min away, frowning, “Explain.” “I mistook him for someone else.” Cheng Min stared at Lu Bingxun’s face, carefully tugging at his clothes, softly saying, “It won’t happen again.”

His gaze fell on Cheng Min’s face, seemingly trying to discern the truth of his words. After a long while, Lu Bingxun hummed, hugged Cheng Min tightly, and kissed him. Seeing that he was no longer angry, Cheng Min breathed a sigh of relief, pleasingly accommodating him.

However, it wasn’t over yet. He patted Cheng Min’s shoulder, his tone firm, “Take off your clothes.” “Huh?” Cheng Min was a bit puzzled, “You don’t like me wearing this?” Cheng Min really liked the style of this outfit and wanted to fight for it. He continued, “Can I wear it again?”

“No, if the clothes are dirty, there’s no need to wear them.” Lu Bingxun replied with a smile, “If you like it, your husband will buy you new ones.” Sure enough, he still minded that Cheng Min had just snuggled into his subordinate’s arms. At this moment, Cheng Min didn’t dare to touch Lu Bingxun’s reverse scale, nodding and obediently unbuttoning his clothes.

He took them off and threw them on the ground. Seeing this, Lu Bingxun found a pink robe from the wardrobe, hugged Cheng Min, and dressed him, buttoning it all the way to the top. “Do you like it?” He kissed Cheng Min’s cheek, asking, “Pink suits you the best.”

In his youth, Cheng Min had accidentally worn a pink robe and was praised by Lu Bingxun for the first time in his life. He didn’t expect it to have such a big impact in the days to come. The wardrobe was filled with various pink robes, which was Lu Bingxun’s quirky taste, enjoying dressing Cheng Min up as a delicate, helpless weakling.

But Cheng Min didn’t actually like pink. However, for such a small matter, he went along with Lu Bingxun. Whatever clothes he bought, Cheng Min would wear. “I like it,” he replied.

The beautiful, delicate weakling spent a chaotic week with his husband. Afterward, Lu Bingxun returned to his previous busy state, barely having time for Cheng Min. They could only meet at night. Cheng Min returned to his previous lifestyle.

The afternoon sun spilled onto the floor, contrasting sharply with the surroundings. Cheng Min, wearing a beige robe, lazily nestled on the small sofa by the window, holding a snow rabbit in his arms, passing the time by eating various fruits at hand. Perhaps he had gotten used to it, but the fruits from Deni Star no longer tasted sour.

As the weather cooled, Lu Bingxun forced Cheng Min to wear thick clothes to prevent the delicate weakling from getting sick. Just after waking up, Cheng Min was still in a daze when Lu Bingxun pulled him into his arms for a kiss, reminding him to eat well and not be picky.

Cheng Min yawned and nodded obediently. Catching a glimpse of Lu Bingxun about to leave, he was a bit dissatisfied, tugging at the man’s sleeve, rubbing against him, “Can’t you take me with you?” “Be good, wife,” Lu Bingxun coaxed the weakling in his arms, using a strawberry cake as bait to dissuade him from the idea.

“Do you want it?” Lu Bingxun asked. “Yes,” Cheng Min nodded, leaving Lu Bingxun’s embrace, “Then I’ll stay in the room and wait for you to come back.” “Okay.” He kissed Cheng Min’s cheek.

After the man left, Cheng Min got out of bed, washed up simply, and, as usual, went to the window, sitting on the small sofa, casually picking up a fruit from the plate and popping it into his mouth. Glancing at the mat beside him, he noticed that the snow rabbit was not there.

The rabbit that Lu Bingxun had prepared for him had a peculiar personality, not liking the specially prepared rabbit nest, but instead favoring the white mat on the floor, treating it as its nest. At this time of day, it would usually be awake, moving its chubby body and running around the small room. Today, however, something seemed off.

Where did the snow rabbit go? Cheng Min frowned, got up, and began searching the room, not missing the bathroom or any small crevices. After a thorough search, he still couldn’t find the rabbit. Cheng Min was a bit anxious, pacing back and forth, thinking about possible scenarios.

Seemingly having thought of something, Cheng Min slowly raised his head, looking out the window at the lush tree not far away. Its leaves had turned golden, falling onto the pile of dead leaves on the ground with a gust of wind. It probably ran outside.

Lu Bingxun didn’t like Cheng Min running around in such weather. If he found out, he would definitely scold him and give him a small punishment, like making him stand by the wall… Cheng Min didn’t want to touch Lu Bingxun’s sore spot, but thinking about his only “prison mate” escaping, leaving him alone, he felt uncomfortable.

After much thought, Cheng Min put on his coat, buttoned it up, opened the door, peeked out to make sure it was safe, and slipped out. Their room wasn’t far from the yard, which was convenient for Cheng Min. Arriving smoothly at the backyard, a cool breeze hit him, making Cheng Min shrink his neck, regretting coming out.

But now, there was no turning back. Following the pebble path forward, Cheng Min’s gaze swept around, finally spotting the white figure near the fence. He ran in that direction, but the snow rabbit, startled, fled hastily. Cheng Min followed closely, chasing it to the southernmost end of the yard.

With nowhere to run, Cheng Min, panting, squatted down, picked up the snow rabbit, and was about to leave when he suddenly noticed something odd about the fence in front of him. Glancing back at the direction of the study, Cheng Min still hugged the snow rabbit and stepped forward, reaching out to touch the fence, finding it loose and movable.

Cheng Min recoiled as if electrocuted, quickly withdrawing his hand, then turned and left. Lu Bingxun was very strict about Cheng Min’s lifestyle, worrying endlessly, treating his wife like a child, and being domineering. During this time together, Cheng Min had endured a lot of frustration.

On one hand, he was unhappy, but he had to pretend to like it, pleasing Lu Bingxun. But to be fair, Lu Bingxun treated Cheng Min well, almost fulfilling every request, allowing the delicate weakling to continue living a pampered life, only suffering a bit at night. Other than that, there was nothing else.

He willingly stayed by Lu Bingxun’s side, forever. Not far away, Cheng Min stopped, feeling a gaze on him. Looking back, he saw no one. He thought he was just imagining things. Little did he know, not far away, Lu Bingxun was witnessing everything, holding a small dessert, ready to use it to coax his foodie wife back after he left.

However, there was no need. Cheng Min willingly stayed by his side, fully accepting Lu Bingxun. Back in the room, Cheng Min took off his coat, hugged the snow rabbit, and nestled into the small sofa by the window.

“Knock, knock, knock.” Remembering what Lu Bingxun had said, Cheng Min thought it was the person delivering the cake. Instantly, he forgot about what had just happened, licked his lips, and eagerly said, “Come in.”

Two male humans entered, one holding the strawberry cake Cheng Min had been longing for, the other with a plate full of fruit. Cheng Min’s gaze followed the human closely, watching him place the strawberry cake on the table. He couldn’t wait to pick up a fork and take a bite.

Immediately, his eyebrows furrowed, and he spat out the strawberry in dissatisfaction, “Why is today’s strawberry so sour?” Hearing this, the two humans stopped, turned, exchanged a glance, and one was about to speak but was stopped by his companion.

Lowering his head, looking embarrassed, “Sorry, I’ll have the pastry chef make you a new one right away.” Hearing this, Cheng Min nodded, not making things difficult for the two humans, pointing to the strawberry cake on the table, which he had only taken a bite of, and asked them to take it away.

“Okay.” After the two left, Cheng Min waited for a long time. Most of the fruit on the plate was gone, yet they hadn’t returned, making him anxious. He got up to find them, and at the same time, the door opened, and the human who had left earlier returned, holding a new plate of strawberry cake.

Cheng Min put the strawberry in his mouth—it was the familiar taste. “You can go now,” Cheng Min said, eating while glancing at him. The human, relieved, quickly left the room but didn’t go far. Soon, a conversation started outside the door, capturing words like “hard to please” and “annoying.” Cheng Min put down his fork, quietly approached the door.

The two walked away, but the conversation was still clear. “This elf is really hard to please. It’s good enough to have something to eat, yet he’s picky.” “What can we do? The leader spoils him. He just needs to lie in bed every day, and he has everything.” “Just a little pet, how long can he like it?” “Alright, stop talking, or the leader will hear.”

Cheng Min stood by the door, his nails almost digging into his flesh. Countless revenge plans flashed through his mind, but in the end, he just sighed, suppressing his anger.

Today, Lu Bingxun came back early, holding a strawberry cake. As soon as he saw Cheng Min, he acted like a big dog, hugging and kissing him non-stop. Cheng Min, listless, nestled in Lu Bingxun’s arms, not moving.

“Wife, are you feeling unwell?” Lu Bingxun’s tone was a bit social, “Why are you so listless?” He shook his head, resting his head on Lu Bingxun’s shoulder, not responding to him. “Speak.” Lu Bingxun pinched Cheng Min’s face, “What’s wrong? Did someone bully you while I was away, or…” He stopped, his gaze falling ahead.

“Those two who delivered the cake?” Lu Bingxun asked. Cheng Min nodded, sitting up straight, grabbing one of Lu Bingxun’s arms, and under the man’s gaze, forced out a few tears, “They bullied me.” “Tell me about it?” Lu Bingxun hugged him tightly, “How did they bully you?”

“They said I’m your little toy.” Cheng Min’s voice grew more aggrieved, tinged with sobs, “And they said you wouldn’t like me for long.” “Nonsense.” Lu Bingxun tenderly wiped away his tears, softly saying, “Wife, I love you the most. How could you be a little toy?”

Of course, he knew, but what Cheng Min wanted wasn’t this. Cheng Min sniffed, looking up at Lu Bingxun, “Husband, I hate them.” “Hmm.” Lu Bingxun smiled, “What does my wife want to do?” Cheng Min pretended to think, then said, “Let them go mining, okay?”

Deni Star had many natural mines, and the camp’s daily life required ores. This work was exhausting, and no one liked doing it. People outside lived tough lives, and if they wanted to stay in the camp, they had to work, contribute, and follow the leader’s arrangements. Cheng Min seized this point.

Lu Bingxun could bully him, as he was a weakling, but others couldn’t even think about it—they weren’t worthy. “Okay.” Lu Bingxun readily agreed, continuing to kiss Cheng Min. Afraid Cheng Min was still unhappy, Lu Bingxun took out the strawberry cake he had specially bought to cheer up his little wife.

Cheng Min, eating the delicious strawberry cake and successfully getting revenge on the two humans, felt very satisfied.

Until night, the two didn’t leave the room, sticking together, unwilling to part. Cheng Min wasn’t hungry, and Lu Bingxun didn’t have dinner either. In the darkness, Cheng Min was held from behind by Lu Bingxun. Over time, the man’s hot body temperature continuously assaulted him, making him feel a bit hot.

He began to struggle, trying to leave Lu Bingxun’s embrace. “Not sleeping at night, haven’t you had enough?” Lu Bingxun was awakened by Cheng Min’s movements, patting his butt, his tone full of dissatisfaction, “If you don’t want to sleep, then don’t.”

Cheng Min blinked, his tone soft, afraid of making Lu Bingxun unhappy, “Hot.” He thought Lu Bingxun would let go, but instead, he held him even tighter. The two bodies, separated by pajamas, were tightly pressed together, “Endure it.”

The next day, when Cheng Min woke up, Lu Bingxun was already gone. On the table not far away was a glass of milk, with a note pressed underneath. Cheng Min rubbed his eyes, got out of bed, and walked barefoot to the table, picking up the milk and drinking it in one go. As he moved, the note fell to the ground.

Putting down the glass, Cheng Min bent down, picked up the note, and saw the familiar handwriting—it was left by Lu Bingxun when he left. [Stay at home obediently, don’t run around, I’ll be back in a few days.] Whether he said it or not, Cheng Min wouldn’t run around. Placing the note on the table, Cheng Min picked up the snow rabbit and nestled into the small sofa.
