Elves typically reach maturity in about three days. Before this, there are obvious physical symptoms, such as irritability and a craving for comfort from others. If medication is taken, these symptoms can be alleviated. After successfully passing the maturity phase, elves will experience a fatigue period every six months, with symptoms very similar to the maturity phase. The only difference is that during the fatigue period, an elf’s abilities are temporarily weakened and cannot be improved with medication. The only solution is to endure it alone or have a companion by their side to help soothe them.

Right now, he plans to take some medication to ease the symptoms he’s facing during this time. “Give me some soothing potions,” Cheng Min rubbed his temples and said to the endlessly talking doctor, “the most effective kind.”

Elves are pure and are not allowed to have relations with other elves before marriage. Those who break the rules will face severe punishment. However, due to the unique physiological symptoms of elves, there is a special kind of servant. These servants are specifically there to accompany elves during their maturity or fatigue periods, using their abilities to relieve and reduce the symptoms.Full novel: Bad Seed Wants to Be a Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But because of Lu Bingxun and the man, Cheng Min can’t stand the approach of human servants, let alone engage in intimate activities. It’s too disgusting.

The two elves present looked at each other, and finally, the female butler spoke up to persuade, “Young Master, the medication will have some impact on your body. It’s better to find a few human servants.”

“Didn’t you hear what I said?” Cheng Min glanced at her, “Since when do you get to decide my affairs?”

“No, no, you misunderstood,” the female butler lowered her head and hurriedly explained, “I only meant to…”

“Shut up,” Cheng Min had no patience to listen to her nonsense, “Leave the potion and you can leave.”

There weren’t many potions to alleviate the symptoms of the approaching maturity phase. The doctor only took out four bottles of light pink transparent potion from the medical kit he carried and handed them to Cheng Min. Cheng Min didn’t like injections, so he replaced them with oral potions. He was specifically instructed that, barring any accidents, Cheng Min’s maturity phase would be in two weeks, and he should take these four bottles of potion twice a week.

Cheng Min nodded, indicating he understood.

After they left, with the door closed, the room returned to silence. Cheng Min played with a bottle of potion in his hand, and a few minutes later, he unscrewed the cap and drank it all in one go. It was cool and slightly bitter, but still within his tolerable range. The irritability in his heart seemed to fade a bit.

Cheng Min wasn’t in the mood to eat, so he simply didn’t. He picked up an apple from the plate to stave off hunger and then returned to bed. He pulled the blanket over himself, planning to take a nap.

In a daze, he felt his whole body burning, as if he had fallen into a large furnace, with every inch of his skin being licked by flames. The irritability in his heart broke free from its cage and completely lost control. He suddenly sat up, gasping for air, sweat soaking his forehead and back, with his robe sticking uncomfortably to his skin.

“Young Master,” a crisp voice sounded beside him.

Cheng Min’s body stiffened, and he turned his head to see a human servant in his twenties squatting in front of him, with a flattering smile on his face. “Are you feeling unwell?” He slowly got up, sat beside Cheng Min, and reached out a hand to touch his forehead, “Let me help you.”

Cheng Min turned his head to dodge, picked up a small ornament from the bedside table, and threw it hard at the human servant, “Get out, I don’t need anyone.”

“But the butler, she…” The man hesitated, “told me to help you no matter what.”

“You and she can both get out,” Cheng Min roared, “Leave the manor immediately.”

He really didn’t expect that old woman to dare to act so presumptuously, secretly sending a human servant into his room despite his repeated refusals. It’s hard to tell who’s in charge anymore, daring to climb onto his face to do things. There’s no need to keep such a thing around.

The human servant was frightened by Cheng Min’s appearance and hurriedly fled the room, slamming the door shut with a loud bang. Cheng Min got out of bed, barefoot, and went to the balcony. He picked up a bottle of potion, ignoring the doctor’s warnings from earlier, unscrewed the cap, and poured the liquid into his mouth. The overwhelming irritability was suppressed, and the indescribable longing temporarily subsided.

He casually tossed the bottle on the ground, returned to bed, closed his eyes, and tried to sleep again, but sleep eluded him. Tossing and turning, he couldn’t get his wish. In his mind, he couldn’t help but recall everything the man had done to him that day. The beautiful elf was completely embraced by the tall human, locked tightly, forced to submit, chin pinched, and kissed fiercely like a hungry wolf.

The physical reaction slowly revived, the effects of the potion gradually faded, and it began to erode Cheng Min’s nerves bit by bit. In a daze, Cheng Min was embraced from behind, a familiar yet unfamiliar scent entering his nostrils. Coming back to his senses, the man’s voice sounded in his ear, warm breath spraying on his neck, “Wife, haven’t seen you for a few days, did you miss me?”

Cheng Min’s body stiffened, and he blurted out, “You’re thinking too much, who would miss a bastard like you.”

“Such a hard mouth,” the man pinched Cheng Min’s face, “I’ll be sad.”

Hearing this, Cheng Min had a stress reaction, pushing the man away forcefully, trying to run off the bed. “Running again,” the man grabbed one of Cheng Min’s arms, dragging him back forcefully.

Cheng Min struggled desperately, uncontrollably blurting out, “Lu Bingxun.”

The man’s movements paused, then he pulled Cheng Min into his arms, asking viciously, “Who the hell are you calling, calling some wild man’s name in front of me.”

“Shut up,” Cheng Min slapped him, “He’s a thousand times better than a bastard like you.”

The man showed no anger from being hit, instead, he smiled, “Really? Is Lu Bingxun really that good to you?”

“Of course,” he replied.

“Don’t think about others in the future,” the man “sneered,” his hand on Cheng Min’s waist rubbing forcefully, “Remember your husband’s name, Xiao Chi.”

“In your dreams,” Cheng Min replied.

“What if your husband asks you next time, and you can’t remember?” The man paused, showing a faint smile, “You know the consequences.”

Cheng Min glared at him.

Perhaps due to a lack of security, being held in the man’s arms, Cheng Min soon felt sleepy.

A week later, on Wednesday morning, Cheng Min wore a beige robe, with a dark brown key tied around his waist, giving off a simple look. He lazily nestled on the balcony sofa, basking in the sun, holding the latest fashion magazine, browsing this week’s new accessories. Because there was a social dance party tonight, the daytime classes were canceled, leaving plenty of time for the noble elves to dress up for the evening event.

Cheng Min didn’t like attending such parties and, as usual, refused, planning to spend a leisurely time alone in his room. But he was stopped by his father.

He pushed open the door and walked in, followed by Shen Shaoye. As soon as he saw Cheng Min, he quickly approached him, presenting a box in his hand like a treasure. “Xiao Min,” Shen Shaoye said with a smile, “this is the necklace you wanted.”

“Mm,” Cheng Min took it and placed it on the table, not very interested. After all, he didn’t like the necklace at all. He only asked Shen Shaoye to get it to tease that little servant. Nothing more.

However, this action displeased his father, “Cheng Min, aren’t you going to thank Xiao Heng?”

“Thank you,” Cheng Min said flatly.

A glimmer of light flashed in Shen Shaoye’s eyes, and he replied excitedly, “No need, Xiao Min, you don’t have to be formal with me, it’s what I should do.”

Cheng Min blinked and didn’t continue to pay attention to him.

“Cheng Min,” his father spoke, stating his purpose, “prepare well and attend the social dance with Xiao Heng tonight.”

Cheng Min quickly glanced at Shen Shaoye, about to refuse, “I…”

“Xiao Min,” Shen Shaoye interrupted, “I’ll pick you up at eight tonight. If there’s nothing else, I’ll leave first.”

As if afraid Cheng Min would change his mind, he quickly ran out of the room.

“Dad,” Cheng Min watched his retreating figure until it completely disappeared from sight, then complained, “You know I’m not interested in him, yet you still make such decisions.”

“Don’t forget the time,” he said, leaving the room.

Even though Cheng Min was unwilling, at eight o’clock sharp, he changed into a suit and obediently attended the dance with Shen Shaoye, who came to pick him up.

The dance was held in a castle in the suburbs, once the private property of human nobility, later owned by elves, about eight hundred years ago. Cheng Min wore a sullen face, walking in by himself.

As soon as he entered the ballroom, he was captivated by the countless silver crystal stones hanging above. Cheng Min looked up, unable to resist taking a few more glances. These crystal stones were expensive, and even Cheng Min only had one. The host of the dance really spared no expense.

“Cheng Min,” a girl in a green dress approached, one of the ones he had tea with before, her eyes full of surprise, “How come you have time to come? I remember you usually don’t like attending these dances.”

“Mm,” Cheng Min’s gaze fell on Shen Shaoye behind her, frowning.

“Really tough on you,” she patted Cheng Min’s shoulder, “I’ll head over there first, let’s chat later.”

“Mm,” Cheng Min nodded.
