THE DUEL
「Alright, then! Let’s do this!」
The one to make the first move was Tanya.
Saying that she kicked the ground and rushed right in.
「Whoa!?」
The speed at which she closed the distance between us was so great that the air even let a short “boom” sound as a result.
The only thing I could do here was to jump to the side to avoid it.
「Oh my, good job dodging that one. Incidentally, that first blow was something that managed to take out the vast majority of Adventurers that accepted my challenge.」
「Does that mean that I have passed the first test or something like that?」
「Yes, but there’s still lots and lots of trials ahead of you! Come on! Come on, come on, come, come on, come on!」
Tanya made a gesture as if she was swooshing and breathing in……
FWOOOSH!!!
Just like you would expect from a dragon, there was a huge fireball that came out straight out of her mouth.
「She can even do something like that!?」
Just because her current form was that of a humanoid, I assumed that she wouldn’t be able to do things that normal humans couldn’t do!
I needed to make sure that I would be able to avoid those fireballs at all cost.
