Ever since she realized Sheng Tianze had soft barbs on his tongue, Jiang Xinli felt a tingling numbness spread through her body every time he kissed her.
Her mind would even involuntarily conjure up some titillating images.
Jiang Xinli’s ears flushed red in an instant.
“Blushing after just one kiss?
Is my Female Master this easily embarrassed?” The man’s lips curved into a smile as he held her shoulders steady and leaned in again.
This kiss was fervent and demanding.
He only let her go, reluctantly, when the girl in his arms was red-faced and gasping for breath.
“How about we—” The man panted slightly, his thin lips parting as a flash of desire crossed his deep eyes.
‘The three-day neck recovery period is long over.
It seems some “strenuous exercise” is possible now…’
Snapping back to her senses, Jiang Xinli sprang out of his arms like a frightened rabbit, stammering, “I—we still have to go mining…”
“You little coward.” A smile played on Sheng Tianze’s lips as he reached out and flicked her nose.
After speaking, he reached out with one large hand and effortlessly swept her into the crook of his arm.
The girl subconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck and started to whine playfully, “I want to ride the tiger…”
‘A tiger is fluffy.
Not like his hard arms, which are digging into me uncomfortably.’
“No.” Sheng Tianze didn’t break his stride, arriving at the edge of a deep mine pit in the blink of an eye.
He paused briefly, bent his knees slightly, and then pushed off with explosive force.
With an agile leap, he landed steadily at the bottom of the pit with a WHOOSH.
Jiang Xinli was just about to pout and protest when Sheng Tianze had already walked briskly to a relatively open area and gently set her down.
“We’re here.” With that, he began pulling items out of his space as if by magic:
He placed a set of garden lounge chairs with a striped parasol steadily on the ground.
He carefully set a glass of freshly squeezed juice to the side.
Finally, there was a small bottle of strawberry-flavored nutrient liquid.
Jiang Xinli was speechless.
She had seen this set of lounge chairs in the courtyard this morning, covered in dust and fallen leaves, but now it was spotless.
She never would have thought that Sheng Tianze, who looked like he’d never done a day of manual labor in his life, could be so meticulous and thoughtful…
“Don’t leave my sight.” After giving the instruction, Sheng Tianze extended his finger and tapped the air around her a few times.
Jiang Xinli felt as if the surrounding wind had been instantly cut off by some mysterious force.
The area around the mine pit was barren, and whenever the wind blew, the acrid dust of the Sulfur Star Mine would gust into one’s face.
Astonished, she blurted out, “Is that a Spell?”
“No, it’s a clever use of my Space Ability.
Jiang Xinli’s gaze followed his retreating back.
Curious as ever, she was eager to see how this noble and elegant man would go about mining.
She watched as Sheng Tianze raised his hand and quickly tapped a few times on the Light Computer on his wrist.
In the blink of an eye, a silver-gray flying vehicle with flashing red lights flew over with a HUM.
The vehicle emitted a series of garbled sounds, then projected a beam of light straight down.
The light swept over the Light Computer on his wrist with a SWISH, and then the vehicle flew away with a WHOOSH.
Jiang Xinli couldn’t hold back her curiosity and quickly asked, “What was that?”
“A Prison Guard Robot.” Sheng Tianze, long accustomed to such slightly idiotic questions, answered concisely.
He raised his hand and quickly scanned the air, locking onto an unexcavated area.
Then, with a forceful wave of his fingers, a small mining robot shot out of his space with a WHOOSH.
At the same time, a holographic projection screen appeared in the air with a VWOOM.
Sheng Tianze adjusted his glasses.
His long, slender, pale fingers danced across the floating screen, setting a heap of coordinate data in the blink of an eye.
The mining robot, as if equipped with a navigation system, advanced quickly toward the mining area.
TAP TAP TAP.

As the mechanical prompts sounded one after another, fist-sized, orange-yellow stones with a metallic glint were rapidly collected into a storage container by the mining robot amidst clouds of dust.
Only then did Jiang Xinli understand that what they were mining was the Sulfur Star Mine Core.
The huge ores she had seen before were just waste material encasing the cores.
[DING!
This month’s quota has been exceeded!]
The moment the prompt faded, Sheng Tianze had already deftly stored the Mine Cores and the mining robot into his space.
Jiang Xinli glanced at the Light Computer.
From start to finish, the whole process had taken no more than ten minutes.
The time they had just spent kissing was longer than the time it took to mine.
“Let’s go.” Sheng Tianze casually flicked away some nonexistent dust from his clothes and strode to her side. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
‘His Space Ability seems to block dust, too.’
After stowing the supplies, he habitually bent his arm and skillfully scooped Jiang Xinli up.
Jiang Xinli looked guilty, her voice as quiet as a buzzing mosquito.
“I’m sorry.”
Although she knew nothing about the original owner’s Beast Husbands, judging from Sheng Tianze’s aura and gaze, his status was surely extraordinary.
‘Forcing a man like him to do such menial labor day after day on this Deserted Star is truly an injustice.’
Sheng Tianze lowered his gaze to look at her for a moment.
He didn’t ask why she said that, but simply reached out to gently ruffle her hair.
“It’s not your fault.”
“Hold on tight.” He guided her hands to his neck.
“Mm.”
Sheng Tianze held her close, pushed off with his legs, and with another effortless leap, returned to the surface from the mine pit.
“I—” Jiang Xinli started to speak, but then hesitated.
She didn’t want to ask another stupid question, but keeping it in was unbearable.
But Sheng Tianze took the initiative.
“Female Master, is there something you want to ask?”
Seeing her thoughts had been read, Jiang Xinli pressed her lips together and shook her head.
“No.”
“The Female Master has amnesia, so it’s normal to have questions.
Just ask whatever you want.
I promise I won’t laugh at you this time.” Sheng Tianze stopped walking and looked down at her, his eyes filled with doting affection.
Jiang Xinli thought for a moment, then asked, “How do you mine so fast?
Xuan Ying and the others left this morning and still haven’t come back.
They’re not digging by hand, are they?”
Sheng Tianze smiled.
“They use their Attack Ability to destroy the ore directly.
I use my Space Ability to detect the Mine Core, so I’m faster.
But they aren’t slow either.”
A look of realization dawned on Jiang Xinli.
“So, they’re actually just slacking off out there on purpose?”
“Slacking off?
What does that mean?” Sheng Tianze asked, confused.
Jiang Xinli explained, “It means goofing off at work.”
“Something like that,” Sheng Tianze said frankly.
“Although we were exiled here for committing crimes, on this Dark Star, for their Beast Husbands, every house inhabited by a female is not just a place to shelter from the elements, but a harbor where they can find a moment of rest after exhausting their minds and bodies.”
After all, not all the criminals exiled to the Dark Star are evil people; perhaps there were other reasons.
Undeniably, some females and their Beast Husbands have very good relationships.
“A home gives them a sense of belonging.” After saying this, his gaze shifted to the distance, and his tone changed.
“But for other Male Beastmen, the house issued by the interstellar prison is a true cage, steeped in oppression—a place they dream of escaping…”
