The woman on the sofa was sleeping deeply and sweetly, her red lips slightly parted, looking soft and delicate. When silent, she appeared so docile it seemed she could be easily taken advantage of.

When he wasn’t at the villa, someone would report Jiang Luxi’s activities to him—it was part of their duty, though he didn’t pay much attention to it. But now, recalling their reports, it seemed Jiang Luxi was most prone to causing trouble around him.

It was truly a headache.Full novel: Behave, Don’t Escape! The Crazy Villain Wants to Kiss Her Again — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Huo Jin Ge tapped his fingers rhythmically on the desk.

The phone Jiang Luxi had been holding gradually slipped from her grasp and fell to the floor with a clear clatter, though the sound didn’t wake the sleeping woman. The screen lit up, revealing its contents to Huo Jin Ge.

A man on the screen was performing a striptease, his half-unbuttoned shirt hanging loosely, chest and abdominal muscles faintly visible. The comments section was flooded with uniform screams, and gifts filled the screen, nearly obscuring the streamer’s face.

Huo Jin Ge picked up the phone, took one glance, and frowned in disgust before casually scrolling through the browsing history. The more he saw, the darker his expression grew. Finally, he tossed the phone back onto Jiang Luxi, jolting her awake.

Jiang Luxi was dazed, her misty eyes rubbed red, making her look pitiful and easily bullied. “Did I fall asleep?” she asked, noticing Huo Jin Ge’s grim expression and shifting her eyes nervously.

Though she didn’t know what experiment Huo Jin Ge was working on, his face clearly indicated failure and a readiness to vent his frustration on someone.

Huo Jin Ge narrowed his eyes, leaning back in his chair as he watched her calmly. After a moment, he drawled, “You’re quite generous to those streamers, aren’t you?”

Jiang Luxi stiffened, instinctively reaching for the phone on the sofa. The streamer was still dancing, now shirtless, the screen awash with suggestive content. Guiltily, she closed the app and exited.

Forcing composure, she explained, “No, I just happened to scroll to that before falling asleep.”

Huo Jin Ge let out a monosyllabic grunt, his sharp brows raised, tone sinister. “Using my money to support them? You didn’t offer me any money that day at the bar.”

Jiang Luxi felt as if she’d been caught in an affair. Steeling herself, she reopened her phone. Just as Huo Jin Ge wondered if she was going to uninstall the app, his own phone vibrated twice in his pocket.

Narrowing his eyes, a sense of foreboding washed over him.

The door nearby opened, and Jiang Feng stepped in, shivering from the cold air, ready to report to Huo Jin Ge.

Huo Jin Ge saw a transfer notification on his account—250 yuan. Staring at the number, his knuckles turned white, gripping the phone so tightly he nearly crushed it.

Jiang Luxi bit her lip, equally awkward. The 20,000 yuan she had left had dwindled to this amount after various purchases. “I’m sorry, that’s all I have left,” she mumbled, having gritted her teeth to transfer every last bit to him.

Hearing her nonsense, Huo Jin Ge was so furious he almost threw his phone. “You used the money I gave you to support other men until only 250 yuan was left?”How impressive.

Seeing signs of his anger, Jiang Luxi quickly rose from the sofa, holding up her phone and pretending to take a delivery call.

Huo Jin Ge paid her no mind, still unable to recover from the fury of receiving 250 yuan.

As Jiang Luxi passed by Jiang Feng, she took off the suit jacket and returned it to him. After thanking him, she immediately dashed off without delay.

She felt that if she were any slower, Huo Jin Ge’s hand would reach for her neck.

Jiang Feng naturally put on the still-warm suit jacket and walked over to Huo Jin Ge.

“Master Ho, the branch office called.”

Huo Jin Ge’s eyes seemed glued to his phone screen as he responded with a low hum.

Seeing this, Jiang Feng turned to leave.

“Wait.” Huo Jin Ge slowly lifted his gaze.

His eyes fell on Jiang Feng’s suit jacket, staring thoughtfully for a few seconds.

Jiang Feng felt as if he had been plunged into an ice cellar under that gaze; even the warmth inside the jacket couldn’t shield him from the chill radiating off Huo Jin Ge.

“Install a signal jammer in Jiang Luxi’s room later.”

Huo Jin Ge raised a hand to stroke his chin. He certainly didn’t want Jiang Luxi using his money to support a boy toy.

By extension, that would mean he was the one supporting him.

It was deeply irritating.

Seeing Huo Jin Ge’s agitated state, Jiang Feng feared drawing fire onto himself. He nodded in agreement and prepared to slip away.

In the past, Master Ho’s temper had been bad, but only when his headaches flared up.

Since Jiang Luxi arrived, his headaches had vanished, but his temper seemed even more explosive.

Jiang Feng grinned. “Master, I’ll take my leave then.”

Huo Jin Ge didn’t look up, focused on the experimental report in his hands, and gave a dismissive grunt.

Jiang Feng wiped cold sweat as he retreated. The moment he stepped beyond the danger zone, he doubled over with laughter.

Daring to compare Master Ho to a “two hundred fifty”—aside from Jiang Luxi, no one else would have the nerve.

Master Ho looked absolutely furious but didn’t dare voice it.

The indomitable Master Ho was completely wrapped around Jiang Luxi’s finger.

It was fucking hilarious.

He had been holding it in so hard he thought he’d go crazy.

“Ha ha ha ha……”

On the silent third basement level, every motion-sensor light flicked on from his laughter.

Yu Yi watched Jiang Feng wiping tears from his eyes and let out a disdainful click of his tongue.

Had another one lost his mind?

While Jiang Luxi was out picking up her delivery, Jiang Feng slipped into her room and installed the signal jammer in a hidden spot.

Thanks to his big mouth, every bodyguard in the villa had now heard the “two hundred fifty” story.

Without exception, everyone who looked at Jiang Luxi now held a trace of admiration and awe in their eyes.

Jiang Luxi felt intensely uncomfortable under their gazes; she almost felt like she was being regarded as the Statue of Liberty.

As she carried her delivery through the living room, she was startled by the sound of Huo Jin Ge’s angry outburst.

The items in her arms clattered to the floor.

Huo Jin Ge glanced coldly at the culprit after watching Jiang Feng kneel on the floor.

An idea struck him, and he stretched a hand toward Jiang Luxi, who stood five meters away, her face pale.

His tone brooked no argument. “Come here.”

Jiang Luxi swallowed hard. Under the stare of his bottomless dark eyes, her legs felt nailed to the spot.

She forced a bitter smile and made an excuse. “My… my hands are dirty.”

Her eyes darted nervously as she spoke.

Huo Jin Ge’s patience was wearing thin. Just as he prepared to stand and grab her, Jiang Luxi cautiously shuffled forward.

If this man dared to choke her, she’d kick him in the crotch.

Let him end his own bloodline.Huo Jin Ge grabbed her delicate, boneless wrist and with a slight tug, Jiang Luxi tumbled onto his lap.

Jiang Luxi was stunned.

This didn’t seem to match what she had imagined at all.
