The rest of the lunch proceeded without any other sexual interruption. I only ate a few bites of each dish just for the taste, disappearing the food like I had done before, and leaving much bigger portions for the big red girl next to me. As lunch finished, I went to get dressed with Xhilandia, while my mother and Alexis went to laze on the couch, leaving the dirty dishes to my unseen servants.
For the outing, Xhilandia selected for me a simple pair of black pants, which she enchanted so that they would remain dry, and a white blouse. For once, she actually made me wear underwear, and enchanted my panties too. Once I was dressed, I looked at her expectantly, waiting for what else she had in mind for our outing, instead she shook her head.
“I actually wanted to talk, I need you lucid for a bit.”
I blinked, surprised, worry growing in my chest. “Did something happen?”
“No, I would have told you already otherwise. I just want to talk a bit while I drive.”
“Oh, ok,” I said, a bit deflated.
She caressed my cheek. “Don’t worry, I’ll fuck you silly later anyway.”
I nodded and smiled at her. “Ok.”
We went back to the main room, where Alexis and Hannah were watching a famous magical girls anime of all things, and kissed them both goodbye. I recovered my purse, with my oft-forgotten phone inside, put on a simple pair of black moccasins, and we were off. Xhilandia chose to drive and I settled on the passenger seat.
It took a while after she started driving for her to actually start talking but, as we exited the city center on the other side of the city, she said, “So, how was the first week?”
“Damned, you’re right, we started on Saturday, it’s been a week. I don’t know if I should say already or only. It went by so fast but we did so much fucking. I…”
“Cassy.” She interrupted me, “Let me rephrase. How are you doing?”
“Fine, I didn’t think I would be physically able to do half the stuff we did, but your magic worked won-“
“Cassy. You know what I mean.”
I sighed. “Yes. I… I’m fine. Aside from that little episode with Alexis back in the office, I’m fine.”
“Cassy.”
“What do you want me to tell you!?”
“The truth.”
“I want a hug.”
“I know, and?” she said, still driving.
“I want to be hugged so tight everywhere I can barely move, and I want you to fuck me silly.”
“Cassy…”
“I know, ok?! I know it’s just a distraction! I know it’s no different from that stupid company I started or drinking myself to sleep!” I shouted. “I know but… I am happier, it has actually been the best week I’ve had in a long, long time.”
“Better. I was thinking we should let your mother go with Alexis on that date I booked for tomorrow.”
I looked at her, stunned, for a few, long seconds. “That’s a change of subject.” I smiled. “Sure. They are getting along quite nicely.”
“They are. And while they are having their date, we will go to The Fault.”
I immediately felt as if a sphere of sharp needle had formed in my throat. My hands grew cold and started sweating. “No.”
“Yes.”
“Please, Xhilandia. No.”
“See, you have no choice, you gave all of yourself to me. If I say we’ll go, we’ll go.”
“Xhilandia, I’ll actually hate you if you make me do this.”
“You won’t.”
“Xhilandia!”
“It’s for your own good.”
“No it’s not! Please!”
The car stopped and she said, “We’re here.”
I looked around, we were in a small secondary road a few hundred yards from the highway, with only unkempt fields and an old industrial complex in disrepair around us. Xhilandia exited the car and I rushed after her.
“Xhilandia, don’t ignore me!”
She stopped and turned on her heels, making me almost run into her. She looked down at me and I saw anger in her eyes. Real anger. The air grew cold. Dark, red clouds covered the sky and the city was plummeted into darkness. Then blood started raining.
“I never ignore you. You have had as much of my attention as it was divinely possible for every single second since you first summoned me. I have made a decision for your own good and I will not go back on it. That does not mean I am ignoring you.”
I held her gaze, took a deep breath, and said, “Sorry.”
The sky returned to normal, and I saw the anger recede from her eyes, although not completely.
I hugged her. “I’m sorry. I did not want to hurt you.”
She patted my head. “I know. You still did, you are the only one who can.”
“Do we really need to go?”
“Yes.”
I grumbled against her chest. “You know that will hurt me, right?”
“It will, and it will be painful for me to see you suffer, but it will be good for you.”
“Can’t you just fuck me silly instead?”
“Oh, I have all eternity to fuck you silly, but I need to at least start stitching you back together before the kids are born.”
I lowered a hand to touch my own belly, which was bound to start growing in only a few weeks. “Right. For the kids.”
I let go of the hug and looked up in her eyes. “You are too good at manipulating me.”
She smiled. “I am the expert, I’m told. Come on now, let’s see if the real estate agent managed to not run away.”
The real estate agent had, indeed, managed to not run away, and his suit had even survived the worst of the blood rain thanks to the fact that he had managed to hide under some sort of half-ruined awning by a side entrance of the factory. He was a non-descript middle aged man, although sharply dressed. When he saw us, he stiffened for a bit before reverting to a business smile.
“Lady Xhilandia, pleased to meet you. I honestly thought it was a joke when I read your email,” he said, offering his hand.
“You hoped it was a joke,” Xhilandia said, and his smile faltered.
“Don’t bully the poor man,” I said, taking his hand in her place. “Cassandra Watford, pleased to meet you.”
“Ah, the pleasure is all mine, Major Watford. It’s an honor to meet a war hero.”
“Right… so, is this the property?” I said, looking at the crumbling factory.
“Indeed,” he said, letting go of my hand. “The place used to be a factory for enchantment materials. It needs quite a bit of renovation, I won’t lie, but-“
“Oh, we’ll tear it all down, the condition of the structure is not a problem.”
“Of course, you told me you were planning on changing the lot for residential use. Well, the lot is easily connected to the city’s utilities as it still has working plumbing, although in poor condition, no need for big excavation jobs. And, as you can see,” he said, pointing at a power line that connected to a transformer station, “it is easily connected to the electric grid. The lot itself extends only a dozen yards up the road from the factory, but includes a good fifty additional yards further down the road. There should be enough room for three apartment complexes if you want to develop the area. If needed, the rights for the area on the other side of the road can be bought from the city’s administration for-”
“Yeah, yeah. I know.” Xhilandia said, interrupting his speech again.
She then turned to me and said, “So, did you finally notice?”
I nodded. “It’s on the M3 Landian point of the ley node of the dungeon.”
“Exactly. So, I was thinking, we could put a gate right over the Landian point convergence over there,” she said, pointing at a part of the building that seemed to be the main production facility. “Then we will build the manor on that side, while on the other side we will build the green house and menagerie. And on the far side, behind the gate, a building for my girls. A nice wall all around, maybe a reception house for guests in the front, and, of course, a pool.”
“We could have the whole center be a ring pool with the gate in the middle and some bridges, maybe section it in different areas, like a pool bar. Actually, no, let’s have a pool bar there,” I said, pointing towards a spot that would end up closer to the main house, “connected to a main pool, then have a lazy river with natural filtration go behind the gate and into the menagerie.”
I looked at the man who was giving us confused looks. “We’ll take it.”
“Of course.” He said, giving us a wide smile. “Shall we move to my office for the papers?”
