~Reynold’s POV~
A heavy shift sounded behind me, followed by the slide of sheets as Frederick stirred. Strong arms wrapped securely around my waist, pulling me closer against his chest.
"Who’s that?" he muttered, his morning voice thick against my neck.
I quickly replied, "It’s nobody, just a group message from my school chat."
I couldn’t bring myself to tell Frederick the truth. If I told him that my father wanted me to come home to meet Mr. Mike, he might interfere. But if I refused to go, my father could stop me from ever meeting my mother. I had never even seen her before, and I couldn’t risk losing the chance to finally meet her.
And I was scared of what Frederick might think if he found out about my mother’s condition. What if he looked down on me? What if he no longer wanted me because of it?
I still wanted to meet my mother. So, for now, I had to keep it to myself.
Frederick went silent for a moment, the warmth of his body pressed against my back. "Are you sure?"
I nodded against the pillows. "Yes, Mr. Corvin."
"Alright," he murmured, his lips pressing a soft, lingering kiss against the back of my neck.
"I have an early class this morning," I whispered, shifting slightly so I could slip out from under his arm. "I need to get up and get ready."
"When will you be back?" he asked.
"Late afternoon."
"By the time you’re back from the university, I’ll be gone," Frederick told me, propping himself up on one elbow. "I have a meeting at the company by one, and I won’t be back until next week. But I’ll keep in touch through calls and messages."
"It’s fine," I said quietly, feeling a sudden, unexpected pang of emptiness at the thought of being alone in such a massive house. "I can manage."
"One more thing." He reached out, his hand gripping my hip and turning me completely around to face him. "I’m not trying to boss you around, little pet."
I looked up into his eyes.
"Before you bring anyone here, let me know," he said calmly. "Just send me a simple message saying, ’Sugar daddy, I have a friend coming over.’ That’s all. I just want to know who you’re with and make sure you’re safe, okay?"
"I understand," I murmured.
He pulled me closer by the waist, his gaze dropping to my lips as he leaned in for a kiss. I instinctively raised a hand to cover my mouth and pulled back with a grimace.
"Wait. I haven’t brushed yet."
A low, deep chuckle rumbled in his chest. He gently lowered my hand, his thumb brushing over my lower lip.
"You smell good, your skin looks beautiful, and I don’t care about that right now. Let me have my kiss, okay?"
I smiled inwardly, dropping my gaze as a hot blush crept up my neck.
He certainly knows how to flatter someone, I thought.
After a heartbeat, I looked back up at him. The moment our eyes met, his lips descended on mine. He captured my lower lip, his tongue sliding past my teeth in a slow, heated stroke that instantly scrambled my thoughts.
The kiss deepened, turning hungry and demanding, and before I could even react, the light cotton of my sleep shorts was discarded, leaving me completely bare against him.
"Let me fill you up before I have to leave for the week," he murmured, his voice thick with desire as his hands settled on my hips.
I didn’t even bother to resist. My body was already burning for him, completely wired to his touch.
With practiced efficiency, Frederick reached into the bedside drawer, tore open a foil packet, and rolled the condom on. Cool lube slicked between my thighs, and then he flipped me onto my hands and knees.
He took me in one deep, punishing stroke, exactly the kind of hard morning fuck that left no room for thought.
I buried my face in the pillows, a raw, broken moan ripping out of me as he slammed into me again and again. My fingers twisted hard in the sheets.
Every deep thrust dragged another helpless sound from my throat, my hips pushing back to meet him even as my thighs started to shake.
Heat coiled tight and viciously low in my stomach, building with every hard stroke until my whole body felt wound too tight to hold.
A broken curse caught in my throat as another hard thrust stole my breath.
Fuck, I’m starting to like this far too much.
He plowed into me relentlessly until I came twice in a breathless, shivering mess, spilling against the sheets just before he followed with a sharp, heavy groan of his own, burying himself deep as he finished.
For a long moment neither of us moved. The only sounds were our uneven breathing and the quiet shift of the sheets as he slowly eased out of me. My body felt heavy and oversensitive, still trembling in small waves.
He was undeniable in bed, but what ruined me even more was what came next. Instead of rolling away, Frederick gathered me against his chest, pressed a brief kiss to my damp temple, and then scooped me up into his arms. He carried me straight into the massive marble bathroom, already reaching to turn on the shower.
As the hot water poured over us, he washed me with slow, thorough hands, never once stopping the low stream of filthy praise. He murmured about how sweet I tasted, how much he loved the sounds I made, how tight and perfect I felt every time he pushed inside me.
He kept telling me how well I took him, especially this morning, like it was something he couldn’t stop bragging about.
"Since you took care of me so well this morning," he hummed against my ear, rinsing the soap from my skin, "tell me what you want. Name it."
I leaned back against his chest, the practical part of my mind cutting through the haze. I didn’t hesitate, not now that I was starting to get used to him.
"I need a full wardrobe change," I said clearly. "And money. Cash I can use for myself. I never want to feel completely broke or trapped again."
Frederick smiled and pressed a kiss to my damp shoulder. "Consider the wardrobe done. I want my little pet looking pristine every time I walk into a room."
He paused, a knowing glint in his eye. "By the way... I’m guessing you never actually checked the balance on the debit card I gave you?"
"No, I didn’t," I admitted.
"Don’t worry about money. With that card, you can get yourself anything you want. Use it for whatever you need," he said smoothly. "And if you ever run low on cash, just call me. I’ll have the money wired to you immediately."
I looked up at him through the steam of the bathroom, a soft smile pulling at my lips. I let myself sink into the luxury of it. It wasn’t like I could escape him even if I wanted to, and the cold reality was that I desperately needed him in my corner right now.
When we finished, Frederick wrapped me in a plush towel, dried me off, and carried me back into the bedroom. He plugged in a hair dryer, sat me down on the edge of the bed, and gently ran his fingers through my wet hair as he dried it.
The tender care felt completely at odds with how rough he had taken me a moment ago. He treated me quite literally like a cherished, spoiled pet.
Afterward, I got dressed in a fresh set of clothes, and he spritzed a hint of his expensive cedarwood cologne over my neck.
"I’ll look into hiring the best private chef for this place today," Frederick said as I finished tying my shoes. "For this morning, though, I’ll tell the driver to stop by a nice café so you can grab some proper breakfast."
"Okay, Mr. Corvin."
"The driver will take you straight to campus," he added, his tone brooking no argument.
I opened my mouth to refuse. I didn’t want to show up at university and draw stares in a luxury vehicle, but he cut me off before I could speak.
"Don’t worry. Just tell him to drop you off a short distance away. He’ll listen to you," Frederick insisted, stepping closer to adjust my collar. "I just want to make sure you get there safely under my protection, okay?"
I swallowed the lump in my throat and offered a soft nod. "Thank you."
I grabbed my things and turned to face him. "I’m ready to leave."
A faint, mocking smirk touched his lips. "Try not to miss me too much while I’m gone, okay?"
I rolled my eyes, too tired to argue with his ego. "I’ll be fine."
"Be a good boy," he continued, stepping into my space. "Avoid anyone who tries to bully you, and if anyone gives you trouble, call me immediately."
"I’m not a kid," I muttered.
"You’re a kid to me. Just call me if anything goes wrong, okay?"
I rolled my eyes. Who sleeps with his kid? I thought.
"Did you hear me, little pet?" he pressed, his voice dropping into that low, commanding register.
"Alright, Mr. Corvin," I sighed. "Can I leave now?"
"Let me walk you to the door," he said.
I shook my head, turning toward the bedroom exit. As we walked down the grand hallway side-by-side, Frederick suddenly reached out, grabbing a handful of my backside and giving it a sharp, echoing spank.
"Mr. Corvin, stop!" I yelped, jumping forward.
He let out a rich, teasing laugh behind me. "I love it when you say that. It sounds entirely too much like Mr. Corvin, stop fucking me hard."
My face flamed red. Mortified and laughing at the same time, I bolted down the stairs toward the front door, hearing his booming laughter echo off the marble walls behind me.
When I stepped outside into the crisp morning air, his driver was already standing by the open door of the sleek car. Up on the grand porch, Frederick leaned against the doorway and raised a hand to wave at me.
I hesitated for just a second before raising my hand to wave back, a genuine smile slipping onto my face. It all felt so surreal, so wildly different from the bleak, suffocating life I had left behind.
But as I slid into the leather backseat and the car glided down the estate driveway, I forced my wandering thoughts back in.
I can’t afford to fall for him, I reminded myself, staring out the window as the trees blurred past. He had made his terms crystal clear, he didn’t want love.
Yet even as I told myself that, I couldn’t stop the quiet, foolish smile from lingering on my lips.
On my way to campus...
