In fact, once the progress hit 90%, he had already been able to feel the changes in it.
The whole left side of his body felt vaguely restless.

Then his left arm let out a loud blast, and red-white bone armor spread rapidly to cover it, with sharp thorns growing out at the shoulder.
His fingers changed into claws, and as the pressure kept pouring off him, the air around it warped.
“Boom!”
Lucas simply closed his fist.
And the speed of that motion alone was enough to produce a sonic boom.
“This arm is only at Elementary, and its power has already caught up to the Brazo Derecha de Gigante at Intermediate.”
He was genuinely stunned.
He had known the Brazo Izquierda del Diablo would be powerful straight out of the awakening.
He had not expected it to be powerful to this degree.
The left arm had only just awakened, and in terms of attack power it was already completely on par with the Brazo Derecha de Gigante at the Intermediate stage.
And that was without even counting the La Muerte of the left arm.
The Brazo Derecha de Gigante, as he had developed it, no longer needed to charge for weaker attacks.
Full-power strikes still required a charge.
The left arm was another matter entirely.
No charging at all.
It could release high-density impacts at will, with only La Muerte needing a wind-up.
Of course, the Brazo Derecha de Gigante was not weak either.
Once it reached the Intermediate level, it could activate shield mode.
The right arm was inherently built for defense, so naturally it could not compare to the left arm in terms of pure attack.
But even so, the attacks the Brazo Derecha de Gigante unleashed were quite overbearing.
The consumption was not small, but the fact that its attack power far exceeded others at the same level said everything about how strong it was.
In the manga, Chad came across as an upper-tier side character.
Put simply, that was because his growth window was far too short.
The time he had from awakening was shorter than the time Ichigo had from becoming a Shinigami, and every enemy he came up against was an absolute freak.
