Following the midnight lockdown, the Tenth Division was assigned the single duty Kazuma hated most: perimeter guard outside the Central 46 Underground Assembly Hall.
Inside the sealed subterranean chamber, the high judges of Central 46 screamed down from behind their towering wooden screens.
“Kisuke Urahara!
You are charged with illegal Hollowfication research on fellow Captains!”
“Tessai Tsukabishi!
You are charged with casting forbidden Level 90 Space-Time Kidō!”
“The verdict is unanimous!
Both shall be stripped of their spiritual powers and permanently exiled to the Human World!
The eight hollowfied subjects shall be executed immediately as Hollows!”
Urahara knelt on the cold stone floor in heavy spirit-draining chains, his teeth gritted in bitter silence.
Aizen had vanished into thin air, leaving him to take the entire fall.
“Guards!” a judge shrieked.
“Take them to the execution chambers!”
Standing near the perimeter pillar with his straw hat tilted low, Kazuma watched with half-closed eyes.
‘If Urahara dies here, who builds my auto-stamps?’ Kazuma calculated coldly.
‘Who supplies my stealth cloaks?
And without the Visoreds, Aizen’s future schemes become unpredictable.’
A tiny vibration registered above the high dome.
*Yoruichi.*
She was dropping in through the high air vent.
The problem was the Central 46 suppression array—four ancient Kidō spirit keystones buried under the chamber tiles designed to lock any intruder down with crushing gravity.
Kazuma didn’t draw his sword.
He didn’t even take his hands out of his sleeves.
He simply tapped his wooden sandal against the stone floor.
*Jakumetsu: Micro-Fracture.*
A silent, invisible wave of kinetic stress shot straight down through the bedrock, targeting the subterranean spirit-conduit stone beneath the central floor tiles.
*CRACK.*
The internal stone core shattered into dust.
The glowing yellow gravity glyphs on the floor flickered and died.
*BOOM!*
The high skylight blew open in a storm of plaster and glass.
A black-and-orange blur dropped into the courtroom like lightning.
Yoruichi slammed two executioners into the stone pillars, grabbed Urahara and Tessai by their iron chains, and kicked off the ground with blinding speed.
“Intruder!” the head judge shrieked.
“Activate the floor seals!
Fire the Kidō arrays!”
“The seals aren’t responding!” an operator screamed in panic.
Kazuma immediately let out a loud, miserable groan.
“Ah!
My violent stomach cramps!” Kazuma yelled theatrically, clutching his gut and “tripping” sideways straight into the firing line.
*CRASH!*
Kazuma’s shoulder plowed into the lead Kidō archer, knocking him and two others flat across the polished tiles.
Their charged Kidō blasts veered wildly into the ceiling beams, bringing down a massive shower of debris and smoke that completely blocked the remaining archers’ line of sight.
Through the falling rubble, Yoruichi vaulted through the open ceiling, carrying Urahara and Tessai into the stormy night sky.
As she crossed the roofline, her sharp eyes caught Kazuma sitting in the dust, rubbing his belly with a completely fake look of agony.
A tiny, feral grin flashed across her lips before she vanished into the clouds.
Down in the courtroom, high judges were shrieking, alarm bells were ringing across all thirteen districts, and absolute chaos took over.
Kazuma sat on the floor, dusting off his haori with a satisfied, lazy smirk.
‘Urahara owes me an unpayable life debt in Karakura Town,’ Kazuma thought.
‘And with six Captains gone in a single night, the Gotei 13 is officially paralyzed.’
No inspections.
No extra patrols.
No paperwork for the next fifty years.
Kazuma leaned back against the broken stone pillar, closing his eyes for a well-deserved nap while the Soul Society burned around him.
