I was relaxing on my chair when a guy with golden hair and a handsome face approached us.

Handsome.

But he couldn’t compare to me.Full novel: Bloodline Awakening: Tyrant Dragon System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Mind if I accompany you guys?” he asked while looking directly at Princess Xue.

He was followed by a group of friends who gave him space to do whatever he wanted.

This guy has good eyes.

But that’ll cause him trouble.

Princess Xue looked at me and remained quiet, while Mei and Lian bowed respectfully before leaving us.

Since I’m broke, why don’t I milk him?

I chuckled with an evil smile.

“We don’t mind,” I said calmly.

Princess Xue immediately looked at me suspiciously.

“Don’t tell me you want to sell me”, Xue said through voice transmission.

I shrugged calmly.

She gave me an inquisitive gaze before smiling.

“You intend to use him” she said through voice transmission.

I love smart people.

The golden-haired man sat down confidently.

“My name is Zhao San.

Can I know yours?”

Princess Xue ignored him, focusing instead on the match going on below.

Zhao San’s expression stiffened for a moment before he pointed toward the arena.

“That’s our city champion, Mo.

He never loses a battle.

But despite his fame, no one knows his real identity.”

“It’s a pity.

My Zhao Clan has tried to recruit him, but we’ve made no progress,” he said with a sigh.

“Young Master, he’s the son of the Law Enforcement Elder of the Zhao Clan, one of the top ten clans in the city”, Mei said through voice transmission.

I nodded slightly.

Zhao San noticed how cold the environment around him had become.

A flicker of embarrassment and fury crossed his eyes.

He turned toward me.

“Fellow Daoist.

I see that you’re interested in the battle.

Why don’t we fight there?” he said, a proud smirk slowly rising on his face.

“Not interested,” I replied coldly.

He laughed.

“What if we stake something on it?

Will you fight then?”

I turned toward him.

He was at the Peak of the Foundation Establishment realm.

Waiting for you to say that.

“Looks like you’re interested.

I bet 500,000 high-grade spirit stones,” he said with a friendly smile.

Host, just look at how your fellow peers are lavishing money while you’re tied up with debt from the start.

System, don’t remind me of my misery.

“So what will be my bargain for the bet?” I asked nonchalantly.

He turned toward Princess Xue.

“If that’s what you mean, then your side of the bet isn’t enough,” I said calmly.

He gritted his teeth.

“What about one million high-grade spirit stones?”

“Still not enough.”

I leaned back slightly.

“My side of the bargain is more valuable than yours.

This goddess here is worth more than that.”

Princess Xue turned toward me.

Her eyes lingered on me for a moment before she calmly turned away.

Zhao San looked at the side of Princess Xue’s veiled face.

A small part of her delicate face was intentionally—or perhaps unintentionally—exposed.

He became enchanted.

After several moments of thinking, his expression became determined.

“I’ll bet my entire wealth, worth two million high-grade spirit stones, for one night with her.”

I looked at him.

“Still not enough.”

Zhao San’s expression changed.

“What about one year of being at your service for a night?”

“Make it a hundred years,” I said calmly.

He stared at me.

Then he smiled.

“Deal.

But get ready to sacrifice your companion to me.”

He stood up and signaled one of his lackeys.

He whispered something into the man’s ear.

The lackey chuckled before walking away with the others.

“My share is in the deal,” Princess Xue suddenly said calmly.

I turned toward her.

“What if I lose?” I asked with a smirk.

She gave me a side glance.

“I believe your Dad will do the beating for me.”

She paused.

“And even if you lose, I will just cripple him.”

She said it as if she were discussing the weather.

I looked at her silently.

It wasn’t long before Zhao San returned.

“The arena is ready.

After this match, we’re next.”

“Don’t make me wait.”

He walked away with a confident posture.

“Xue, if I win, what will I receive from you?” I suddenly asked, not expecting anything positive.

She looked at me.

“After using me as a debt, you still have the guts to ask for a reward?”

She narrowed her eyes.

“If you win, I’ll consider it.”

She didn’t disagree, Host.

Ding.

Current affection rate: 3%.

I chuckled.

Then I stood up and walked toward the arena.

Before I reached the arena, the previous fight was already over.

A cultivator at the Qi Condensation realm approached me.

“What will be your onstage name?” she asked with a respectful bow.

“Name?”

I thought for a moment.

“I’ll use Fengxi.”

You are using Xue’s surname.

It’s just a name.

The coordinator’s voice suddenly echoed throughout the arena.

“We have our next round!”

“Young Master Zhao San against Fengxi!”

“The gambling slots are open, everyone!

Don’t forget to place your bets!”

I stepped onto the stage with my wooden sword in hand.

Zhao San was already waiting for me, standing confidently with his arms crossed.

The crowd erupted.

Most of them were clearly supporting Zhao San because of his reputation in the city.

I looked around at the sea of people.

Then I looked back at Zhao San.

“We have to make this battle a swift one,” I said calmly.

You know he’s superior to you in terms of cultivation realm.

I know.

Then why are you so confident?

I smiled slightly.

Because you know his foundation is unstable.

The crowd became even more agitated.

The arena’s atmosphere changed.

The gambling began in earnest.

And Zhao San…

had no idea what he had just walked into a trap.
