Morning sunlight hit the residents of Ashfen. The swamp came to life, the creatures crawling out of the water to bask in the warmth. The citizens of the city woke up, the sounds of daily labor filling the streets. The smell of bread baking and ‘fresh’ produce filled the air.

Needless to say the prince was not happy to be awake.

He groaned and sat up on his bed, the sheet pooling around his waist. Isabella was still sleeping. Her black hair was sprawled on the pillow and her mouth was slightly open. She was drooling.

Looking at her, he couldn’t help but smile. She was his rock in this shitty world. He would do anything for her.

“Orias!” A voice rang out.

The prince froze. That voice.

Before he could react, a woman barged into his room. Her red blazing eyes and black hair were an identical copy of his own. Her face was beautiful, and her body was perfect. She was a goddess. A goddess that had the terrifying aura of a demon.

Teresa con Divina, the mother of the twins and last mistress of the king.

She was furious.

“H-hello mother... fancy seeing you here so early.” He stammered.

Her hands were on her hips, her foot tapping on the ground. He gulped.

“Orias, why am I just now hearing about this summons to the capital?” She asked, her voice strained.

He glanced at his sister, who was still asleep. How did she sleep through this? She was an animal, that was for sure.

“Ah, well you see, I got the letter yesterday and I was going to tell you about it, but I, uh kind of forgot?”

The vein on her forehead throbbed.

“Charles told me you were out hunting yesterday, so what? Did you just forget to tell me between killing monsters and fucking your sister?”

His eyes widened.

“What did you think I couldn’t hear her moans last night? This castle might be a shit hole but it still carries sound, Orias! You two are not subtle.”

Orias scratched his head, his face red. The fact that his mother heard his sister’s moans was not a big deal, but the fact that she knew it was him making her moan was a bit embarrassing.

“Mother, I can explain.” He began.

She held up a hand, silencing him.

“I don’t care what you two do, but this summons to the capital is important,” Teresa said, her voice calmer.

She walked to the bed and sat down next to her daughter, her hand caressing Isabella’s cheek.

Her eyes moved to him as he shifted the sheets, and for just a moment they dropped to the tattoo below his abdomen. Something unreadable crossed her face. Then she looked away, and when she spoke her voice was calm.

“Your father is devious, Orias. But the others are far worse. The king kills with brute force—they'll do it with a smile on their face.”

The prince nodded. He knew all this of course. He had lived one life already and learned what palaces produced. The only good people in the capital were the maids and the rats. Charles made him promise to free his rat brothers from the sewers.

A chuckle escaped his lips, making his mother raise a brow.

“Sorry, just thinking about something. So, can you hold down the fort while we’re gone? I’ve already prepared a plan to get more money from the merchants and Pyx.”

Teresa sighed and rubbed her temples. “I’ll handle it, just please be careful. I don’t want to lose either of you.”

He smiled and hugged her. “Thanks mom.”

She returned the hug and kissed his cheek. Standing up, she made her way to the door. Before leaving she turned around and said, “Shapeshifter babies grow fast, just remember that when you’re having sex with your sister.”

His face turned pale.

“How fast? As in, the baby will be crawling the next day?” He asked, panic evident in his voice.

Teresa shrugged and grinned. “Maybe, maybe not. Find out at your own risk.”

With that, she left.

The room was silent and Orias was staring at his sister in horror. He just finished cumming inside her last night and she was still asleep. He looked at her stomach and pressed his ear against it, hoping to hear the grumbling of a hungry woman and not a growing baby.

Nothing, it was quiet.

A sigh of relief escaped him and he woke her up.

Isabella’s eyes fluttered open and she yawned. Sitting up she stretched, her boobs falling. “What’s wrong? Why do you look so pale?” She asked.

He shook his head and stood up. “Nothing, just thinking about baby names.”

She tilted her head and her brows furrowed. “Baby names? But I’m not pregnant.” She rubbed her belly and looked up at him with a confused expression.

A hand went to his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

The two got ready for their trip to the capital. They packed their clothes in a small bag, just one set of clothes each. They had no plan to stay in the capital for long.

At the front courtyard, the two were doing their final preparations. The trip would be long and exhausting. The prince’s wrist glowed blue, his mana fully charged.

“Finished?” He asked Bella who was charging her mana on the steps.

She nodded and stood up, her wrist shining the same color as his and then put the core in their bag of supplies.

Taking out a notepad, she flipped through the pages and found the one she was looking for.

“Esana Bird? The one that is known for its ability to fly across the entire country?” She asked, showing him the page.

He nodded.

Esana birds were rare, but luckily, the Ashfen was home to a few of them.

Orias eyed his sister. “Are you ready Bella to get ass fucked? It’s a two day trip, so I hope you stretched this morning.”

She looked at him with a deadpan expression. “Brother, I was going to ask you the same thing.”

The two laughed and with a deep breath, their bodies began to glow. Wings sprouted from their backs and their bodies began to morph. A moment later two Esana birds were flying into the sky, a bag strapped to one of their claws.

The citizens of Ashfen watched as their prince and his sister left the city.

The swamp grew smaller and smaller, and soon the city disappeared. The twins flew high above the clouds, enjoying the freedom of the skies.

But as soon as they saw a giant dragon in the skies, they dived back down, heading for the nearest forest. No way they would risk getting caught by a northern dragon of the Draconic peaks.

The forest was dense and the trees were tall.

“Slow down, Bella, I don’t want to lose you.” He said in his bird voice.

The two landed on a branch, the wood creaking under their weight.

“Ori did you not stretch your butt before we left? We’ve barely flown 2 hours and you’re already struggling?” Isabella teased, her eyes sparkling.

He rolled his eyes and turned back into his human form. The wings on his back folded and disappeared into his skin. He sat on the branch and rubbed his thighs.

“This prince needs a five minute break, so keep quiet and be a good sister.” He retorted, his eyes closed.

The bird hopped onto his lap, its beak rubbing against his cheek. He opened his eyes and scratched its head.

“Such a good birdie, aren’t you?”

Isabella cooed and nuzzled into his hand.

Their short break ended and they were off again, flying through the sky.

Two days passed.

The twins were exhausted, and their bodies were sore but the capital was in sight. The massive city walls surrounded the kingdom, and the royal palace stood tall in the center like a middle finger to the gods.

They landed just outside the entrance of the city, the guards watching them with suspicious eyes. Whispers were heard from the citizens entering and leaving.

“Name and purpose of visit,” A guard asked, his hand on his sword.

The prince took out a letter from his bag and handed it to the guard.

“Prince Orias con Divina, here on royal summons from the king.”

The guard’s eyes widened, and he immediately saluted. His partner did the same.

Opening the gate, the twins walked inside. They were greeted by the familiar stench of the city or lack of stench. It was clean, the streets were paved, and the people were well dressed. The smell of perfume and flowers filled the air.

The complete opposite of the Ashfen.

“Doesn’t it feel good to be back home?” Bella teased.

He snorted and shook his head. “Home is where the heart is, and my heart is buried in those two pillows you call boobs.”

She laughed and hit his arm.

Making their way through the city, they needed to pass another gate to enter the inner part of the capital. The guards let them pass without question, the letter was proof enough of their identity. Then another gate to enter the noble district, and finally, the palace gates.

Two guards that looked like over grown gorillas were standing on either side of the gate. They wore heavy armor and had a menacing aura.

Isabella had already taken out her notepad, pencil moving before he’d said a word.

Orias watched her, a smirk on his face. It always amazed him how fast she could read his mind. She always knew who he would like to add to his collection of paintings.

He presented the letter to the guard, the man’s face turned serious as he read it. A nod and the gates opened.

“Prince Orias you are thirty minutes late. Please hurry to the throne room, the king and the other princes are waiting for you.” The guard said.

The two siblings looked at each other and grinned.

“Let’s get this over with.”
