Not long ago.
High in the air above the Magical Beast Mountain Range, Yun Yun held a longsword, startling the Amethyst Winged Lion King out of its cave.
Looking at the unfamiliar human Dou Huang who had suddenly appeared in its territory, the Amethyst Winged Lion King said in an unfriendly tone, “Human Dou Huang, rashly intruding into this king’s territory is deemed a provocation!”
Yun Yun immediately denied it, “Do not misunderstand, Lion King.
I lured you out only to make a trade.”
“A trade?
Hmph, what do you want?
And what can you give this king?” The Amethyst Winged Lion King snorted a cloud of hot air from its nose.
“The purple spirit crystal,” Yun Yun said.
Hearing that it was this item, the Amethyst Winged Lion King mocked, “This purple spirit crystal, I can only shed a small piece of it every twenty years.
What do you have to trade for it?”
“Human, this king tells you, unless you bring a Transformation Pill, don’t even dream about it!”
“Transformation Pill?” Yun Yun’s beautiful brows furrowed slightly.
The Transformation Pill was a genuine Tier 7 high-rank Medicinal Pill.
Let alone a purple spirit crystal, even if the entire Amethyst Winged Lion King were packaged and offered up, it could not be exchanged for one.
The Amethyst Winged Lion King’s demand was clearly an outright refusal of the trade.
Yun Yun tried to speak again, “Lion King, the Transformation Pill is too precious; I cannot produce one.
I am willing to offer three Tier 5 monster cores, as well as a set of Profound Rank high-level Cultivation Technique and Dou Technique for you to Cultivate.
Please consider it again, Lion King.”
“Stop talking nonsense!
If you cannot produce the Transformation Pill, I will absolutely not exchange the purple spirit crystal.
Leave the Magical Beast Mountain Range immediately!” the Amethyst Winged Lion King said rudely.
Yun Yun gripped the thin sword in her hand, understanding that it would not work without resorting to force.
Her beloved disciple, Nalan Yanran, was Cultivating like crazy in order to defeat Xiao Yan three years from now.
She saw this and felt a pang of pity in her heart.
But after that Xiao Yan’s engagement was annulled, his talent restored, and in just one year, he had achieved a Breakthrough to a nine-star Dou Practitioner, surpassing her beloved disciple.
How could her sweet disciple surpass him?
Thus, she, as the master, could only find a way.
A Medicinal Pill was the only way.
Therefore, she had commissioned Gu He to refine a Medicinal Pill for Nalan Yanran that could increase her cultivation and accelerate her Cultivation.
The key main ingredient for that Medicinal Pill was the purple spirit crystal.
Therefore, she could not retreat!
Having just achieved a Breakthrough to Dou Huang, she had not fought many times with opponents of the same level, and she was not necessarily inferior to this Amethyst Winged Lion King.
A pale green tornado began to spin from her sword blade, its momentum overbearing.
The Amethyst Winged Lion King did not fear Yun Yun either; it opened its mouth, and flames condensed.
…
Dozens of meters away from the aerial battle zone.
Xiao Yan stood on the treetop of a large tree, the Purple Cloud Wings on his back flapping rhythmically.
He looked at the Soul body of Yao Lao beside him and smiled, “Teacher, the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.
When they finish fighting, it will be our turn to take the stage.
You must be prepared.”
Yao Lao hovered in mid-air and said helplessly, “You brat, possessing you once consumes quite a lot of my Soul Power.
You must make it up to me in the future.”
Xiao Yan chuckled, “Don’t worry, Teacher, I won’t forget the contribution you’ve made.”
Yao Lao stroked his beard and said, “You really are bold.
A mere Dou Master, yet you actually think of interfering in a battle between a Dou Huang and a Tier 6 Demonic Beast.”
Xiao Yan said resolutely, “Opportunities can be encountered but not sought.
Since we’ve run into it, we naturally cannot miss it out of cowardice.”
“The flesh of that Amethyst Winged Lion King can be used to temper my physical body, and the Purple Flame on its body can also be used to upgrade the Burning Technique.”
“One step ahead, always ahead.
Teacher, you should know this better than I do.”
Yao Lao nodded, “This old man didn’t say you were wrong.”
“This is indeed a good opportunity.”
“In my opinion, that woman’s strength is on par with the Amethyst Winged Lion King.
The person and the beast will likely fight until both are heavily injured.”
“At that time, I will possess you.
With your abnormal physical strength and your cultivation of an eight-star Dou Master, you should be able to unleash the strength of a high-star Dou Wang.
Coupled with the powerful might of a Di-rank Dou Technique, it should be enough.”
After their conversation, the old and the young continued to conceal their auras, observing the battle in the sky.
The battle had already reached a boiling point.
The towering pillars of fire and wind made it impossible for weak humans and Demonic Beasts to even watch from afar.
Relying on his Tier 4 Magical Beast Physique, Xiao Yan was only barely able to endure.
Also spectating along with him were three Tier 5 Demonic Beasts comparable to Dou Wang experts.
He silently observed these three Demonic Beasts, knowing that if he wanted to be the oriole behind, he must quickly deal with these three Tier 5 Demonic Beasts.
In the sky, the pillars of fire and wind slowly dissipated.
The battle had reached its end.
The auras of both the Amethyst Winged Lion King and Yun Yun had dropped significantly.
Both the person and the beast understood that the next strike would determine victory or defeat.
“Wind Extreme: Falling Kill!”
“Amethyst Seal!”
Just as the person and the beast were gathering their strength, a sudden change occurred.
Xiao Yan finally moved.
“Teacher, do it!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Yao Lao immediately slipped into Xiao Yan’s body, turning into pure white energy.
Xiao Yan only felt the power within his body suddenly surge by dozens of times, giving him a feeling that he could shatter a mountain range.
He understood that this was not an illusion.
Right now, he possessed at least the strength of a high-rank Dou Wang.
Having mastered this level of strength, his mind remained clear, and his gaze locked onto the three spectating Tier 5 Demonic Beasts.
Flames condensed on his fist, and a faint trace of the natural energy of heaven and earth was drawn in.
This was the unique characteristic of a Di-rank Dou Technique; it could draw upon the energy of heaven and earth, bringing a significant boost to the Move.
“Flame Burst!”
He quickly rushed toward the nearest one, and in the instant before that Demonic Beast could even react, he threw a punch.
“Bang!”
The flames exploded rapidly, and that Tier 5 Demonic Beast perished directly without even making a sound.
Unleashing a Di-rank Dou Technique with the strength of a high-rank Dou Wang, a mere Tier 5 Demonic Beast was naturally unable to resist.
With one Tier 5 Demonic Beast dead, Xiao Yan did not pause for a single moment, immediately throwing punches as he rushed toward the other two.
Of the remaining two Tier 5 Demonic Beasts, one let out a fierce roar and rushed at him ferociously.
The other was completely the opposite; it cast a fearful glance at the Amethyst Winged Lion King in the sky, seemed to guess something, and fled the battlefield without looking back.
Xiao Yan had no chance to pursue it.
He threw another Flame Burst Fist, its momentum no weaker than before.
With a single punch, this Tier 5 Demonic Beast that had rushed at him also died instantly.
Quickly storing the corpses of the two Tier 5 Demonic Beasts into his storage ring, Xiao Yan did not even have time to check if there were monster cores before speeding into the sky.
During the time he killed the two Tier 5 Demonic Beasts, Yun Yun and the Amethyst Winged Lion King had completed charging their ultimate Moves and launched them at each other.
The Amethyst Winged Lion King saw Xiao Yan speeding over, but Yun Yun’s powerful attack forced it to defend with all its might.
It could only curse furiously in its heart, “Damn humans, despicable!!!”
“Flame Burst!”
Just as it was dodging the Wind Extreme: Falling Kill, Xiao Yan threw the third Flame Burst Fist of this battle.
This punch even mobilized Yao Lao’s Bone Chilling Flame, covering his fist in white flames, taking its power to the next level.
“Boom!”
The Wind Extreme: Falling Kill and Flame Burst Fist landed on the Amethyst Winged Lion King at the same time, causing massive damage.
In just a brief moment, the Amethyst Winged Lion King’s aura faded away rapidly and irreversibly.
As for Yun Yun, she was unable to dodge in time and was hit by the Amethyst Seal, flying backward far away and falling into the forest below.
