Chapter 1: Misunderstanding

Building A Primitive Tribe With My Girlfriend's Aunt

Today was Ethan and Elena’s one-year anniversary.

Early that morning, Elena had kissed him softly and whispered with a shy, playful smile, "When you come home tonight, I’ll have a special surprise waiting for you in the bedroom. Don’t forget to bring my favorite chocolate cake, okay?"

Those words stayed with Ethan all day like a warm promise. After class, he rushed to the bakery, then detoured to buy a delicate silver necklace he had been saving for months. His heart beat with genuine love and eager anticipation the entire way home.

By the time he stepped into the apartment, night had fallen. The entryway light didn’t activate, and the living room lay in darkness. Only a soft, warm glow spilled from the half-open bedroom door, accompanied by gentle humming and the faint rustle of sheets.

Ethan’s lips curved into a fond smile. ’She really went all out this time.’

He quietly set the chocolate cake on the kitchen counter and slipped into the bedroom. The air was thick with the familiar scent of lavender and Elena’s favorite body lotion. He carefully placed the gift box on the nightstand, not wanting to ruin the mood she had prepared.

Elena loved creating these intimate little scenes. She often hummed softly while lying in bed, saying the quiet darkness made the melodies feel more romantic.

Tonight, the room was dimly lit by a single warm nightlight, casting a hazy golden glow across the bed. A graceful figure lay nestled among the sheets, long, silky hair cascading over the pillow, the gentle curve of her body beneath the thin blanket, even the soft humming tune... everything was identical to Elena.

Ethan’s heart fluttered with affection and desire. ’She wants me to come to her.’

Deciding to play along with her fantasy, he quietly approached the bed. With a low, teasing voice full of roguish charm, he leaned over and slid his arms around her from behind.

"Hehehe... Little lady, leaving the door unlocked and waiting for me like this... Are you hoping I’ll join you tonight?"

The moment his body pressed against hers and his arms wrapped around her waist, the woman stiffened sharply. A startled gasp escaped her lips, and her fingers clutched his wrist with clear panic.

But Ethan, heart pounding with excitement, mistook it for playful resistance, one of Elena’s favorite games. She loved teasing him like this, pretending to fight before melting in his arms.

Her smartphone slipped from her fingers and landed softly on the carpet. The woman’s mind spun in chaos. One second she had been resting peacefully, the next a man had climbed on top of her in the dark bedroom.

Panic flooded her body. She was a karate champion, yet at that moment her limbs felt strangely weak, almost powerless against him.

She struggled beneath his weight, trying to push him off, but Ethan only chuckled softly, mistaking her resistance for shyness. He tightened his grip around her, his nose brushing against her silky hair, inhaling the sweet gardenia scent that matched Elena’s conditioner perfectly.

"Stop pretending," he murmured huskily, voice thick with desire. "I knew it was you by the scent."

Without waiting, Ethan captured her lips in a deep, passionate kiss. His tongue pushed forward demandingly. In her shock, her mouth parted slightly, and his tongue slipped inside, exploring her warmth intimately.

Her first kiss vanished in that heated instant.

While his mouth claimed hers, his hands moved with growing hunger. His fingers hooked onto the thin straps of her dress, slowly sliding them down her shoulders and tugging the fabric lower, exposing more of her soft skin.

The woman panicked harder. She tried desperately to turn her head, to push him away, to speak, but the kiss swallowed her protests. Her body felt strangely heavy and unresponsive, betraying her with unfamiliar sensations. She could only squirm and whimper softly against his lips as he continued undressing her.

Ethan’s breathing grew heavier, lost in the romantic fantasy he thought they were sharing. Every touch, every taste, fueled his passion.

Finally, with a desperate twist, she managed to break the kiss just enough to gasp breathlessly:

"E-Ethan... stop... please... it’s not—"

But her voice was also similar to Elena’s, which only convinced Ethan further that she was playfully acting out one of their little resistance fantasies.

He smiled, heart racing with affection and desire. Positioning himself, he pressed forward and entered her in one smooth motion. The sensation was overwhelming, incredibly tight and warm. His fingertips gently brushed over her shoulder as he moved, but something felt... off.

Elena’s shoulders were always so delicate and slender. This body felt fuller, more voluptuous, with a richer, softer plumpness to her curves that didn’t quite match his memory. And she felt impossibly tight tonight, almost virginal.

Just as a faint flicker of doubt stirred in the back of his mind, the woman in his arms whimpered in clear distress.

"Ugh... it hurts... don’t..."

"Still acting?" Ethan chuckled softly, thinking she was fully committed to the roleplay. He lightly tickled her waist, making her body twitch beneath him. "It’s our anniversary. If you wanted to try something different, you should’ve said so earlier. I’ll play along to the end."

He pushed deeper, driven by passion and the unstoppable momentum of the moment. No matter how much she trembled, the arrow had already been loosed.

The woman beneath him could no longer speak. A sharp, tearing pain bloomed through her core as something precious she had guarded for twenty-five years was suddenly taken. Her vision blurred with hot tears. She had no strength left to scream, only silent, trembling shock as her body struggled to adjust.

"Huh? Strange..." Ethan murmured, still moving slowly inside her, his brow furrowed in growing confusion. "It’s only been a few days since we last met... why are you still so tight...?"

He leaned down closer, voice husky with both lust and puzzlement. "Baby, are you...?"

Before he could finish, his phone on the nightstand began vibrating frantically. Elena’s exclusive ringtone, a cheerful melody he had set only for her, cut through the heavy breathing like a knife.

Ethan froze.

His mind went completely blank.

The phone kept ringing. If the woman in his arms was Elena... then who was calling him?

The realization hit him like ice water poured over fire.

He suddenly pulled back, staring down at the face illuminated by the faint nightlight. The long hair, the beautiful features so strikingly similar to Elena’s... but older, more mature, and twisted in a mixture of pain, shock, and tears.

It wasn’t Elena.

It was Emily, her aunt. The woman Elena had mentioned many times. The one people often mistook for her older sister.

Ethan’s blood ran cold. Horror flooded his entire body as the reality crashed down on him.

"I—I’m sorry!" he stammered, his face burning so fiercely it felt like his skin would melt. His earlobes were scorching, his heart hammering violently against his ribs. He tried desperately to pull away and separate their bodies, but every movement only made the intimate connection more overwhelming.

"Ethan! You’re Elena’s boyfriend... right?" Emily’s voice trembled as she stared up at him.

The revelation crashed over her like a tidal wave. The man before her wasn’t a stranger, he was Ethan, her niece Elena’s boyfriend.

Disbelief hit first. Then came anger. Then shame.

Tears gathered at the corners of her eyes as every cruel coincidence, the darkness, their near-identical appearance, the same perfume, felt like a vicious joke played by fate.

"You... you idiot..."

"Misunderstanding! This is absolutely a huge misunderstanding!" Ethan’s voice cracked with panic. "I thought it was Elena! She said she had a surprise for our anniversary, the lights were off, the perfume, the hair, everything was the same! I never meant to—!"

Ethan apologized frantically, his voice trembling with guilt as he tried to explain. He wanted nothing more than to pull away, to fix what couldn’t be fixed.

"Shut up!" Emily snapped, she wanted to push him off. She wanted to slap him. She wanted to scream.

Yet when she tried to move, she hesitated.

Not because she had forgiven him, but because everything had happened too fast.

Her thoughts were a chaotic mess. For twenty-five years, she had lived freely, chasing adventure instead of romance, always believing love and marriage could wait. Never had she imagined that her first time would be stolen through the cruelest misunderstanding, with her own niece’s boyfriend.

Tears rolled silently down her cheeks.

At the same time, the sharp pain she had felt earlier began fading, replaced by a deep, confusing warmth that spread through her like liquid fire. A reluctant spark of unwanted pleasure stirred inside her, making her cheeks burn with even greater humiliation.

Emily’s grip on Ethan tightened further. Tears of anger, shame, and overwhelming, conflicting sensations glistened in her eyes as she stared at the man still buried deep inside her.

"...You idiot," she whispered hoarsely, her voice breaking between fury and something dangerously close to a moan. "What the hell are we supposed to do now...?"

Ethan’s mind was a whirlwind of panic and guilt. "We... we should first separate from this awkward position," he stammered, trying to pull away.

The moment the words left his mouth, Emily’s expression twisted with raw anger.

"After taking my virginity, you want to just leave me like this? In the middle of it?!"

In one explosive motion fueled by rage and frustration, she flipped their positions with surprising strength. Before Ethan could react, she had pinned him down beneath her, hands pressing firmly against his chest. The sudden reversal left him stunned, he had no idea how a woman who looked so similar to Elena could possess such raw power.

She finally understood the restless, burning need inside her. It was unfinished. It was hunger. It was a storm she couldn’t control.

Driven by fury, confusion, humiliation, and overwhelming physical ache, Emily began to move. Her hips rolled with determined, almost angry intensity. For nearly ten minutes the room filled with heavy breathing and the creak of the bed as she rode the chaotic waves of her emotions.

Yet even as her body chased release, silent tears continued falling. She hated how good it felt. She hated herself for not stopping. She hated that a part of her didn’t want it to end so abruptly.

Until finally, her body tensed violently. A deep, shuddering climax washed over her. She collapsed forward onto his chest, trembling, her breath hot against his neck.

For a long moment, they lay beside each other in heavy silence. Both breathing hard. Neither daring to look away.

Emily, ever the more mature one despite the humiliation and chaos, finally spoke. Her voice was low but steady as she tried to regain control of the situation.

"Ethan... whatever happened here, it will never—"

Before she could finish, the entire bedroom was swallowed by a blinding white light.

A powerful, irresistible suction enveloped them both. Ethan felt his consciousness rapidly blurring, as if he were being pulled into warm, chaotic waters. His limbs no longer felt like his own. The world around him dissolved into pure light.

The last thing he saw was Emily’s face, eyes still wide with shock and lingering, complicated emotion, as she desperately tried to finish her sentence.

Then everything went white.
