’Damn... this feels so good, even without being inside her.’ Sylus didn’t hear a word she said, completely lost in the pleasure.

With one final heavy thrust Sylus tightened his grip around Luna’s waist and the sudden burst of intense heat between her thighs made her arch her back sharply and her left hand shot around to clamp onto his wrist and hold on.

He leaned down and bit the sensitive shell of her ear gently.Full novel: Butler's Path to Royalty: I Conquer Every Villainess — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

"Ah!" Her toes curled hard into the floorboards.

"I’m... coming."

A thick surging burst shot forward and splashed directly across the dark fabric of her lower priestess habit and Sylus held her steady as the final lingering pulses moved through him and the quiet settled back into the secluded room.

Luna looked down at the ruined hem of her obsidian habit.

She went completely still and her jaw clenched and a sharp twitching knot of pure rage bloomed in her chest and built steadily.

Sylus pulled back and adjusted his trousers with a long contented exhale. "Man... that felt amazing Luna. Thanks for the treat. Next time let’s try—"

BAM.

"You absolute unholy fool!" Luna’s hand came down and chopped the top of his head with zero hesitation and zero mercy.

A few moments later Sylus was kneeling dramatically on the floor rubbing a giant cartoonish bump rising on his skull with his eyes squeezed shut in extremely performed agony.

"I’m sorry Priestess Luna!" he whimpered while actively suppressing a grin.

Luna stood above him with her arms crossed over her voluptuous chest and her pout so deep it could have its own dedicated weather system. "You better be! I specifically warned you not to dirty my holy habit and look at what you did! It’s going to take hours to wash this out!"

"I really couldn’t help it," Sylus offered meekly and looked up with a completely unrepentant smirk. "You were just far too cu—ow!"

She leaned down and pinched both his cheeks and pulled them outward in opposite directions with the dedication of someone who had earned this. "I am not falling for your smooth flattery again you naughty boy!" New chapters come out on novelping.com first.

She released his thoroughly red stretched cheeks and let out a long dramatic sigh and adjusted her blonde hair back into its proper holy arrangement. "Fine. I’ll forgive you just this once. But if you ever pull a stunt like that again—"

Knock! Knock!

"High Priestess? Are you still in there? The guests in the main hall are waiting," The soundproof walls blocked out the noise from the hallway, but the small speaker mounted beside the door buzzed as an acolyte’s voice filtered through.

Luna’s eyes went wide. "Oh dear! We completely lost track of time!"

A short while later inside the sanctuary’s private alchemy laboratory Luna stood over a brass cauldron carefully grinding rare light-infused herbs while Sylus stood beside her and watched the brewing process with genuine interest.

Out in the waiting area Kai sat quietly on a padded bench with his eyes moving slowly around the cathedral with quiet wonder. Rina sat beside him and kept glancing back and forth between her sickly brother and the tall butler standing near the priestess across the room.

"Sis..." Kai leaned closer and whispered. "Is that nobleman really getting the High Priestess to cure me? I thought the sanctuary always turns poor people like us away..."

Rina smoothed down his messy pink hair and forced a soft reassuring smile onto her face. "Y-Yes sweetie. Don’t worry about anything. Just rest... you’re going to be okay."

Inside her head however it was full chaos.

’I don’t get it,’ she thought with her eyes fixed on Sylus’s tall confident profile across the room. ’How on earth did he pull this off?! The High Priestess is notoriously strict and bound by church protocol at all times. Did he pay her off? No way, even if he raided the entire mansion vault a single butler wouldn’t have that kind of leverage. Did he use political pressure from the Astria name? Or did he...’ She narrowed her eyes slowly. ’What exactly did he do to her in that closed room?! Just who in the hell are you, Sylus?!’

The alchemy door clicked open and broke her spiral clean in half.

Luna walked out holding a delicate crystal vial filled with glowing golden liquid and her expression had returned to that gentle serene thing she did so naturally.

"All finished~" she announced brightly and dropped to one knee in front of Kai and offered the warm bottle with both hands. "Here you go little one. Drink this down to the very last drop. The holy light will purge the rot within an hour."

Kai took the vial with trembling hands and tipped it back and drank the golden liquid all the way down. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

An hour passed in quiet anticipation.

Luna inspected Kai’s skin carefully and checked his pulse and his throat and the unsightly black vein patches and feverish roughness that had been eating at his face for months were completely gone and what replaced them was a healthy rosy glow that made him look like a completely different child.

"He is completely cleansed," Luna declared with a bright genuine smile. "Just make sure he gets plenty of rest and good meals going forward."

Seeing her little brother look vibrant and actually alive again after months of watching him fade out Rina’s strength just gave out entirely.

Tears welled up in her green eyes and spilled over before she could stop a single one.

"K-Kai...!"

"Sis!" Kai sprang off the bench and threw both arms around her neck. "I feel so light! The chest pain is completely gone! I’m totally healed!"

Rina dropped to her knees and pulled him into a tight frantic hug and cried openly into his shoulder without caring about a single thing in the world except this.

"Thank goodness... oh thank the heavens. I was so scared I was going to lose you..."

Sylus stood a few feet back leaning against a marble pillar with a quiet satisfied smile watching the whole thing while Luna stood at his side with a warm gentle expression doing the same.

Kai pulled back after a moment and wiped his eyes fast and walked straight over to Sylus with purpose and dropped to his knees and lowered his forehead toward the floor.

"Thank you so much Sir! I will never forget your incredible mercy as long as I live!"

Before his forehead could actually touch the carpet Sylus reached down and caught him by both shoulders and pulled him straight back onto his feet and offered a firm handshake instead.

"Hey, no need for all that dramatic bowing kid," Sylus said and shook his hand with a confident smirk. "A solid handshake is more than enough."

Kai’s face went bright with gratitude and he beamed up at him like the sun had personally come down to say hello.

Rina watched the whole interaction in complete silence.
