The first time he read this book, he had skimmed through this part, and now he didn’t even remember what was in there, so now that he actually needed the information, he was here to check.
HOW DOES THE LORD PROGRESS?
Despite being a book published by the Royal Family itself, this part had really little information, just about half of a paragraph.
In the short part written there, Ashton learned that there were two ways for Lords’ progress: you either Win or Fulfill.
The first way is by winning against other Lords, this was the more explained way, it was stated that if a Lord won in a battle against other people, they would get a level of increase in Willforce that makes them stronger.
It was also stated that battles can be direct or not direct.
The first way was the only one explained to a certain level, and that was all that was said about it, the other one being Fulfilment not even discussed in any way.
"So that increase in Willforce I got was from winning that confrontation against those two guys," Ashton muttered.
Since he had gotten the answer to his question, he quickly closed the book and got ready to just laze about when he suddenly felt a nudge to his side, forcing him to look there.
"What is it?" He said while looking at the Stemman.
Seeing that it had successfully gotten Ashton’s attention, it pointed at the book Ashton had just dropped and then to itself, as if saying he wanted to borrow it.
Ashton looked at the scene with a raised eyebrow; he didn’t understand why it would need to borrow a book, but he didn’t mind, so he just nodded.
With a smile across its face, the Stemman suddenly picked up the green-covered book and opened it up again. This time it was starting from the first page.
The strange behavior made Ashton smile a little bit before looking at the others one more time.
Since they had come out of the pod earlier that day, he hadn’t really considered them anything. He had just been using them as weird tools.
He didn’t even attempt to name them.
’I really need to name them for convenience when I want to say anything to them,’ he thought.
Thankfully he decided to name them out of convenience.
"Let’s start with you, big guy," He said while turning to look at the Root Guardian.
"You know what, I will just call you Boluk because it sounds a little like Block," he said.
When it heard that, the root guardian just turned to look at him and nodded its head lazily before turning back around to stare just like it was doing before.
He was about to move to the Vine stalker when he noticed the Knight walking up to him with its small wooden shield and Stick in hand.
He got to his front, bowed slightly before raising his stick and waving it around.
’What does this one want now?’ he thought while trying to figure out what those gestures mean.
"Do you want to fight?" Ashton asked after analyzing for a bit.
In response, the Plant Knight nodded up and then, followed by a sideways nod.
"Yes? No? Which is it?" he said out loud.
"You know what, it doesn’t matter; just do whatever you want," he said.
The Plank Knight nodded before heading towards another corner of the living room, and it started swinging its stick all around but in a unified and guided manner, which means it wasn’t randomly swinging.
"Is it training?" Ashton muttered.
"If it is, then that’s really good. Marcus’s threat is really looming, and I don’t even know if that shadow person was from Marlus, if he isn’t, then it means we have another unknown threat," he added while shaking his head.

Ashton stared at the Willforce deficit in front of him, and one person immediately came to his mind.
"Selene," he said before standing to his feet and rushing to the bedroom.
When he entered, he suddenly felt a sharp pain at the sight in front of him.
Selene’s face wasn’t peaceful and serene anymore; something was terribly wrong.
Selene’s face now had a faint green tint that looked just like the banana. A face that was previously pale from not entering at all in a while was now green.
Ashton stood there confused as to what he was supposed to do when he remembered to actually check her well.
He moved closer to kneel beside her and placed his hand on her forehead. He was met with a really hot feeling at the back of his hand.
He could even feel the wetness of her forehead due to perspiration, and this was something that had almost never happened before, especially in his well-ventilated bedroom.
"Selene is sick," he suddenly realized.
Seeing their master rush into the bedroom, the four legion members were already at the entrance observing what their master was doing.
Even the Lazy Boluk.

All while he did his analysis, his Willforce slowly got drained, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
"I need to go find a nurse,"
He stood up and was about to rush back out of the house when he noticed the four of them, but he didn’t spare them too much thought; he just sprinted by them and rushed out of the house.
He was heading straight to the nurse; he had always visited whenever he was sick, but the thing was that her house wasn’t really close to his.
It can even be said to be far.

As a Loner, he always had to walk that distance, even when he was sick, but now he was heading over there not for himself but for someone else.
And time wasn’t on his side.
With every bit of speed he could muster, he rushed as fast as he could, but it still didn’t feel enough.
It still felt too slow.
"I need to get there faster,"
While he ran, he suddenly remembered an ability he had obtained from his Legion member.
"Dash."
