The drain in Willforce was real and still heavily present, and then it was enough motivation and drive for Ashton to absolutely do something.

He needs to find a solution.

With what he had come up with, he needed to think of the best line of action in his circumstance, and that was when he turned to the Plant Sprouts, The knight and the Vine Stalker in particular.

They were his combat legion members and were the ones he would absolutely need the most for this kind of operation.

Without hesitation, Ashton rose to his feet and approached the two guys with an honest expression.

"Guys, Selene is sick, and to get the remedy, I might need some help," Ashton said to the two plant sprouts with an honest face.

Since Ashton was only speaking to two out of the four, the other two just turned to one side or even ignored them completely.

Ashton didn’t mind all that though; he just stared at the two guys he was talking to and waited for an answer from them. A few seconds passed and he finally got the response he had been waiting for.

He saw the uptight Plant Knight nod Curtly with a fully determined face, so with a smile he turned to look at the Mischievous Vine Stalker.

Unlike the Plant Knight, the Vine Stalker didn’t respond with a simple nod; instead, it pumped its fist, raised its hands, and jumped up with excitement.

’I will take that as a yes,’

Having gotten the go-ahead from his two attackers, Ashton was also ready to burst into action. He switched on the lantern, placed it in the living room, and instructed Stemman to stay at home and watch for anything.

He called Boluk, ordered it to use Root Cradle, and then placed the sick Selene in there. Before actually Leaving, he added one more line to the order he gave the Root Guardian.

"Use Nourishing Air once in a few minutes," he said.

Though he wasn’t sure it would help, he had to add it as an extra layer of protection. Right now, he wasn’t minding any drain in Willforce; he was already desperate.

Feeling ready to leave the house, Ashton entered the kitchen, took out a small knife, and returned to the living room.

"Let’s go, guys," he said to the small plant guys behind him.

Just like that, the Legion Master was about to go on his first offense with his Members, not for another reason though, but for his wife.

The three got out of the house, under the cover of night, and began their journey with a single destination Ashton had heard of earlier: The Warehouse beside the Cathedral.

As they moved through the roads, Ashton made sure they did.

didn’t lose their covertness despite moving as fast as they could. They tried their best to leave no tracks; at least two of them did.

Ever since they had gotten a good distance away from their home, the Vine-stalker had been dropping tiny vines at specific spots, and if Ashton wasn’t mistaken, they were always a specific distance apart.

He couldn’t tell their use, if they were even useful, or if it was just playing pranks like it usually does.

’I might as well ignore it,’

After about fifteen minutes of continuous movement they had arrived at the town cathedral.

The town Cathedral had always been considered an extremely holy area, especially for those who believed in whatever was being worshipped there. Ashton had never cared enough to find out.

Though he hadn’t done any deeper investigation into the place, he was still shocked when he heard that such an obviously dirty place like Marlus’s Warehouse was right beside it.

But right now that was the focus; their focus was the Warehouse or specifically how to get in.

The Warehouse was fenced with tall wooden fences. They had chosen wood because it was capable of providing the privacy they needed while also being cheap. It was also considered quite difficult to break into for ordinary people, especially if they wanted to do it without attracting attention.

The three of them were already behind the fence area of the warehouse that was directly behind the warehouse and were ready to begin their sneak in.

If Ashton wasn’t mistaken, he remembered that the Plant Knight sword was capable of cutting through any material that wasn’t metal, though it hadn’t been tested.

"Try cutting a small area in this fence just enough to fit you guys; I can crawl in," Ashton whispered to the Plant Knight.

The Plant Knight nodded before stepping forward and raising its wooden stick (sword). It brought it down with insane precision, creating a large cut on the wall.

He followed that up with another slash and then another; soon a part of the fence was falling off. Thankfully Ashton managed to grab a hold of it before it made any noise.

Through the space they had made, Ashton could see some men slowly walking around the perimeter with an especially attentive face.

Ashton instructed the two sprouts to sneak in before following closely behind them.

Since it was nighttime, he could see the lights inside the building, and he could even hear the voices of some men inside. One voice particularly stood out.

"That bastard is actually here," he muttered while he remained ducked in a dark corner.

Before he started his assault, he wanted to wait and scope his surroundings.

From his hiding spot, he had an almost perfect sight of the perimeter. He studied the guard patterns and routes before actually deciding to act.

"You take that guy; I will take the other guy," he said to the Plant Knight.

But before he could actually give the call, an unaccounted variable suddenly disrupted the plan.

The Vine Stalker suddenly charged out on its own accord.
