"As a Lord of Fists, having increased strength is what I would have wished for, but I guess this will do," the man shouted.
He completely ignored the Plant Knight now that he was free and now focused squarely on the Vine Stalker.
"This made me use up a lot of Willforce so you are going down first," he shouldn’t.
Seeing someone charge at him like that, the Vine Stalker didn’t panic; it just smiled and immediately began loosening until it became a group of Vines.
’Is that Vilification?’ Ashton thought.
At the sight of that form, Ashton didn’t know how he should react cause he had felt just how much Willforce that form had cost him but in that form Increased Impact is already mostly countered.
The man can’t really handle the Vines the way it took care of the Plant Knight, and he was even susceptible to another binding.
The Vinified Vine Stalker crawled all around, forcing the man to use his Ability time and time again.
Ashton could see the man’s expression was slowly growing more and more grim.
’He must be running low on Willforce,’ he thought.
The man suddenly stopped running all around after the Vine Stalker and turned to look at Ashton.
"If you die too, it will be considered my win," the man suddenly shouted before charging.
The Plant knight on standby saw the opportunity and immediately attempted to intercept the man, but he couldn’t make it in time. The man had used his ability in a way he had never done since the battle had started.
He didn’t use it around this body like he did to burst the Vines, no, he concentrated it in his legs to increase the force at which he would be pushed forward by the ground.
He was flying at Ashton like a bullet.
Ashton was about to react, but he noticed the Plant Knight had a composed face. It had something to do.
He watched as it went down into a stance that looked especially similar to a knight on a horse.
’Charge,’
Though the man was already moving very fast, at this point the Plant Knight was faster, unbelievably fast. With his speed, he quickly caught up to the man before hitting him.
It hit so hard, the man was sent flying like a doll straight at the tray of bottles on the side.
The noise of broken bottles rang throughout the warehouse so loudly it sank straight into Ashton’s head.
"Nooooo, not the remedy," he shouted.
But no matter how hurt he felt right now, someone else lying in a pile of broken bottles felt even worse.
"Hahahahahahahahahhahhaa,"
"Lord Marlus was right once more; I actually can’t beat you."
"I can’t accept it; that’s crazy, that’s annoying. You are the Crazy Loner."
"You are beneath me, why can’t I have this win against you. I don’t mind going silent for those above me but you, you are beneath me so I need to explode out."
After that long shout, the man went mad.
With the last Willforce he had, the man didn’t attack Ashton anymore; instead, he faced the trays.
"You won’t be taking a single bottle out of here,"
SHHHKRAKKK!!!!!!
SHHHKRAKKK!!!!!!
The sound of bottles being broken kept ringing out in the warehouse, from one row to another, the man was on a rampage.
"Stop him," Ashton shouted while also rushing out.
But no one could stop the man on the rampage.
He wasn’t saving Wilforce, he wasn’t hiding, and he was ready to spend it all. If he lost, Ashton wouldn’t win.
Before anyone could know what was happening, he was already on the last row of remedy; thankfully, he was spent, he barely had enough Willforce to keep standing.
"No one beneath me...... will win against me," the man muttered before sending out a final punch, and then he fell.
Willforce was completely spent, and Ashton’s prediction was confirmed; the man fell and died.
Back where he was standing, Ashton didn’t receive an increase in Willforce like he had before, instead the drain sparked even more.
"Come on, come on, just a single bottle, just one," Ashton muttered while searching through a rubble of glass.
[Willforce -5]
[Willforce -5]
[Willforce -5]
The rate of drain had increased even more.
Soaked in the remedy he was supposed to find for his wife, Ashton slowly felt himself growing weaker and weaker by the second.
Willforce was now critical.
And then he found one, one bottle that managed to survive. It was hope.
[Willforce +20]
At this critical stage, that hope was just what he needed.
"Let’s go home now," he said to the two plant sprouts that were already standing by him with sunken eyes and his bloodied hands from the bottle cuts wrapping tight round the bottle.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
The sound of hurried footsteps approaching suddenly resounded, and if Ashton wasn’t mistaken, they would enter very, very soon.
