The Zombie Devil was not the only one who shared Su Tang’s confusion.
The endlessly buzzing whir of the chainsaws seemed to make it uneasy.
One of its blood-red intestines swung in a full arc through the air before smashing down furiously at Denjiko.
“Y-you possessed that trash from before?!
Then we should both be Devils!”
“Ahaha—I don’t know either!”
A yellow light flared from the metal head—presumably her eyes.
Facing the intestine crashing down from above, she threw back her head and laughed wildly, her mouth opening and closing like a pair of spiked iron jaws.
“All I know is that I’m gonna tear you, you disgusting freak, to pieces!”
Before the last word had even fallen, a silver flash cut through the air.
Then a spray of blood followed, and the blood-red intestine was sliced diagonally into two halves, which fell to the ground with a lonely thud.
Only then did the pain catch up to the Zombie Devil.
It let out a shrill, crazed scream, flailing the severed intestine everywhere.
The pain was completely different from the agony of being scorched by fire, yet just as unbearable.
Su Tang watched the entire thing from the side.
Although Denjiko’s arm-saw had swung quickly, it had not moved faster than the dynamic vision enhanced by the fire-energy in his body, so he could clearly see how she split the intestine in two.
But…
He had not seen clearly the frequency at which the blade itself rotated.
Too fast.
It really had been like a streak of silver light.
And the material of the saw seemed extraordinarily special too.
Whether in toughness or sharpness, it had reached an entirely different level…
Could that really be something that little dog-shaped Devil was capable of?!
The cuter they look, the more terrifying they are?

Su Tang!”
Just as Su Tang was analyzing the details, he suddenly heard an anxious shout.
It was Denjiko.
Of course he knew why she was calling out to him, because another blood intestine was shooting toward him from behind at high speed.
A wall of fire rose up, blocking it yet again.

“You’re Denjiko?”
This time, although his tone was still phrased as a question, it sounded much closer to a statement.

Denjiko’s long tongue slipped out between those steel-forest-like teeth.
She seemed delighted that Su Tang had recognized who she was.

Su Tang slowly nodded and once again marveled inwardly at the diversity of living things.
“Mr.
Su Tang, watch me cut it in half!”
Excitement and exhilaration filled every word and movement she made.
Her feet pounded rapidly against the ground, and before Su Tang could say anything, she launched herself straight into the air, jumping three meters high and heading directly for the Zombie Devil’s head.
Bzzzz—!
The moment the chainsaw touched the Devil’s flesh, sparks burst out like colliding metal.
The body that Su Tang had already scorched into a cratered mess was dealt another devastating blow.
Blackened chunks of flesh flew everywhere from between the rapidly spinning teeth.
“AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!
IT HURTS TO DEATH!!”
As wave after wave of agonizing pain crashed over it, the Zombie Devil desperately whipped its head and intestines around, throwing Denjiko up into the air, then spun a full circle and landed a precise hit squarely on her fragile-looking abdomen.
Bang!
An explosive crack rang through the air.
Denjiko’s body slammed into the ground, then bounced four full times like a stone skipping across water before finally crashing into a human wall made of Shadowkhan and stopping.
The factory abruptly went silent.
“You…”
The entire exchange had taken less than three seconds.
Su Tang had wanted to catch Denjiko with fire, but was afraid she would not be able to endure it, so in his haste he had used the Shadowkhan to cushion her instead.
Though it might already have been too late—
Huh?!
Su Tang’s eyes widened as he watched Denjiko stand back up as if nothing had happened.
That much force.
That heavy an injury.
And she was completely fine?
No—not completely fine.
She was healing at astonishing speed.
What the hell?
A living Horse Talisman?

“Hisss—That hurt like hell!”
Denjiko bared her teeth and hissed, planting her right foot behind her as if preparing to charge again.
Su Tang stopped her in time.
Walls of fire rose around them, protecting the two of them as he said, “This fight has gone on long enough.
It’s time to end it.”
“Okay, end it!” Denjiko shouted right along with him, waving her chainsaws without even asking how.
Still full of energy, huh.
Su Tang flicked a finger through the air toward Denjiko’s arms and warned, “This might hurt a little.
Bear with it.”
A spark of fire shot from his fingertip and landed on both of Denjiko’s arms.
Then it swelled at the slightest breeze.
Blazing flames instantly covered every inch of her two chainsaws, spitting savage tongues of fire.
“Ss—haaa—” Denjiko’s body trembled, and a very strange sound escaped her mouth.
“So hot!
So burning!
It feels like my whole body’s about to catch fire, aaaahhhhhh!”
Su Tang’s brain automatically filtered out the suspiciously strange noises.
His eyes gradually turned red, and the flames around him surged fiercely.
“Hahahahaha!
Then take another shot of my Five-Fireball Divine Art, aaaahhh!”
The fire-energy once again seized the high ground of his intelligence.
Su Tang floated into the air as countless tiny fireballs rapidly condensed around him.
Hundreds?
Thousands?
Then they shot forward all at once.
Streak after streak of flame blasted through the air—dense as rain, powerful as meteors.
Watching the Zombie Devil, overwhelmed and forced to tank the assault with its body yet again, Su Tang laughed uproariously.
“Hahahahaha!
I lied to you!
What I’m actually casting is Unlimited Fire Works!”
A perfect opportunity!
Although her mind was not exactly normal either, Denjiko seemed to possess a combat instinct that screamed at her that now was the moment.
She kicked off the ground with explosive force, the massive recoil launching her instantly above the Zombie Devil’s head.
The flaming chainsaws plunged straight into its skull without resistance.
“Ahaha!
Mr.
Su Tang has all these weird technique names, so I can’t fall behind either!”
“Let me use these two Flame Saws to perform a craniotomy on you!
Hahahahaha!”
“You two…!”
Those were the Zombie Devil’s final words.
Without the support of its blood intestines, its massive body crashed to the ground and shattered into pieces.
Denjiko stood amid the flames and flesh, panting heavily.
“Huff… huff…”
She looked as if she might collapse at any second.
The red glow in Su Tang’s eyes was slowly fading, and his body descended from the air to the ground.
The zombies that had been trading blows with the Shadowkhan were also wiped out by Unlimited Fire Works.
The entire factory was now littered with residual flames and foul-smelling purple flesh.
Su Tang let out a light breath and was just about to go check on Denjiko when he suddenly heard a squealing sound from outside the factory.
It was the sound of tires screeching to a stop.
